  • Eyal at Be Green Builders was super enthusiastic about our remodeling project that included basically most of the inside of our house. Before the work signed and started, He set with us during several meetings in order to totally understand what we want, need and hope to get for our budget and only after that… he agreed to provide us with an inclusive price for the work. Only the items that we added during the work, were not included in the price (like a large support beam which was revealed during the demolition stage) and few additional materials that we added (like additional floors at the entry of the house). The working crews were totally coordinated and did a wonderful, professional and precise job including all the daily cleaning before they left for the day. All the workers were very pleasant to work with. During the work, we had some delays in several things (like a delay in cabinetry) which caused to put the remodeling project off schedule but proved to be good due to the way the project was completed. We must admit that even the delays, everyone that was involved in the work did his/her best to work around this delay. At the end of the work… we are super happy and pleased with the overall results of the remodeling project. The high quality and the fast attention to all the details of the work was much more above our expectation. Eyal our project manager was always fast to respond to any of our emails or phone calls and has kept to provide his support EVEN after the job was complete.

  • This company is the BEST. They upgraded my mid-century modern and had a special way of insulating my roof. After ten years of cold winters, sweltering, stufffy summers, my house is now a comfortable oasis that I never want to leave. Ask for David. He is wonderful!!!!

  • Steve Mazzuca, the owner, was phenomenal. He arrived promptly and was extremely professional. The tasks were done thoroughly and made such an improvement to my house. I will definitely use Steve's services again and highly recommend him to anyone who needs gutter cleaning or power washing services. VERY PLEASED!!!!!

  • The (two) installers showed up on time, and finished the job in around three hours. I was very pleased with the appearance of the new rain gutters - aluminum, in my case - and the lifetime warranty associated with them is an added plus. The office manager (Beverly) was quite helpful in answering my questions, and the installers were available to do the work the day after I called, which was an unexpected bonus. The installers also took away the old gutters (to a scrapyard or recycling center, presumably). I didn't get estimates from other companies for the work due to time constraints, so it's certainly possible a competitor might have done the work for less, but I suspect any significant differences in price would have come with trade-offs, so I have no hesitation in recommending them.

  • The short, don't wait, hire Final Touch Roofing! Where to begin?! Starting with Lia who answered all of my (MANY) questions to Ovi who was so responsive and helpful in the planning process...to the project itself of tearing off a very old roof and replacing with a new one...that was completed in just a couple of days...it was all better than I could have hoped. I had many many questions about type of roofing materials, and color/shingle samples, and they were never annoyed/frustrated as I continued to fire away many for weeks. I may have been if I were them, but they handled it all with professionalism, and most importantly, the roof looks great and it was done so quickly! I really don't know more what to say other than I would hire them again in a second. Thanks again Ovi (and Lia!)--you have a very happy customer!

  • I called Eric and let him know the situation. He let me know he could be out in the next week. We made an appointment. He showed up on time and prepared for the task. He was able to clear the one problem area and we will be making an appointment for later in the season for review and clean up of the other very tall gutters and downspouts on my property. He was extremely professional and agreed to a much lower rate for the work that he actually completed than what was quoted before he saw the property.

  • We were very happy. The bid was competitive. They were professional, punctual, and did not leave any mess. They did a great job and advised us on what to fix and what not to fix. They repaired flashing issues left by a previous roofer. We have Spanish clay tiles and they moved the classic tiles to the edge and brought new tiles for the area that was not visible, plus they mortared them to match the rest of our roof. We talked to a half dozen roofers before selecting this one.

  • Hein is always punctual and prepared. He has the necessary tools and gets straight to work. Hein also has a great sense of design and architecture and is solution oriented. He always goes above and beyond to make sure that all of my buildings are safe and cared for. It's been an incredible relief to have found such a reliable and trustworthy handyman!

  • The nuts and bolts of the deal:
2/3 of my existing roof was original 1927 hand formed clay tiles with a very simple, 1 layer thick design.  The other 1/3 of my roof was a 1980's addition that had machine formed clay tiles that were much larger and not tapered and didn't really match the colonial feel of the tapered mission tiles (the tile makers formed them other their thighs, leading to the conical taper).  I wanted to re-use as many of the 1927 tiles as possible and blend in reproduction mission style 2 piece (Eric suggested MCA brand) clay tiles to match my existing color scheme, size and shape.  I also wanted a booster strip around the entire perimeter of the roof .  This is where they stack 3 tiles on top of each other with a heavy, overstuffed cement grout layer between the tiles.  I also wanted random boosters across the roof to add texture and weight to the roof.  It adds an air of elegance and old word charm.  And it also uses a lot more tile just for aesthetics.  And lastly, I had a 1950's ugly aluminum porch cover that I wanted replaced with a regal wood framed porch with a matching clay tile roof.  This was a $3,800 option, but it is constructed with 4x8" uprights and cross beams and is fully bolted and metal strapped into my roof line.  The stucco was removed to tie it in to the house and I will be responsible for repairing the stucco where the addition abuts the existing roof line.
    How did it go?
Well, Eric initially promised a start state of mid October, but he pushed that back and the actual start was mid December.  I understand that it is an el Nino year and that all of the roofers are fully booked, but I was not happy with the delay as my roof was actively leaking.
Once the job got started, they were flying.  There were 6 people on my roof and within 3 days after the start, all of the tile had been lifted, the debris removed and new tar paper was down and my leaks were sealed.
There was a hang up in the middle of the tile install due to underestimating the amount of reproduction tile needed, but it was just a few extra days of waiting.  The job was completed within 2 weeks.  The final price (listed above) was $800 over the written bid.  Eric's final price was still thousands less than most of the roofers I got bids from.
    How it turned out:
Fantastic.  Looks stunning. The MCA tile is a blend of light, medium and dark red.  My old tile is a washed out medium red with varying amounts of moss and black grime.  the 4 colors tie together very nicely.

  • I called Edwin three times over three week days and received no response of any kind. There was no indication in his outgoing message that he was out of town and it was not a holiday. Terrible unprofessional treatment. Don't waste your time with this guy.
