    We didn't use them, but we tried. They had trouble making their appointments. Two times they didn't come. They were supposed to come out first time on a Friday and they never showed. They called back again and it was kind of a similar experience. We won't go with them again. I wouldn't recommend the local one at all. Maybe they over schedule and maybe clients get lost in the shuffle. We tried a second time and it never happened. They were pleasant. Their dispatch was very pleasant.

    Mike Sherman showed up on time and was very professional. He spent quite a bit of time taking measurements, asking questions, and answering ours. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient during the process. Afterwards, he was prompt with the initial estimate and continued answering more questions.

    Due to a planned vacation, I wasn't in touch with Mike for some months, but once we reconnected, everything got back on track. There were some communication issues that delayed the process, but given the busy time of year, it's understandable.

    When it came time to schedule the work, Will was the primary onsite and did a fantastic job. He was on time, professional, knowledgeable, patient...much like Mike. Additional communication problems lead to the install being delayed, but they were promptly corrected.

    When I expressed some frustration over the issues, Lisa, the manager and owner, immediately addressed them and went above and beyond to smooth things over. Given the consistently good ratings, I know my experience was a fluke. Mistakes happen, it's a part of life. It's what you do to correct them that counts and Atlas ensured I will remain a loyal customer for years to come.

    Thank you guys for the awesome overall experience. We're loving our A/C already!

    Rich was very responsive and helpful. I wasn't present when he was onsite, as I was out of town, so I can't comment on that. We had multiple estimates drawn up from different companies and ultimately decided to go with another one. But if we need repairs or help in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to contact Rich again.

    Serviceman arrived in timely manner.  Showed him what I need repaired.  I purchased an hour of plumbing for $99.00.  First thing he did was get on IPad to inform me of how much it was going to cost me.  I was under the impression that I had an hour of plumbing work coming which would include the installation of the faucet.  The faucet I purchased of course would not work.  Had one on truck he could sell me.  I agreed as could not stand leaking faucet any longer!  Got it almost installed and discovered that some parts were missing.  Called company to see when parts would be available, not until Tuesday.  Two options, put old leaky faucet back on sink with no repairs or have him come back Tuesday with a working faucet.  I informed him that that wasn't going to work for me.  I told him I could go to hardware store and purchase an new faucet and that it would take me about 1/2 hour.  He immediately informed me that that would cost me extra if he had to wait.  I told him to call his supervisor and explain that it was not my fault that the faucet on his truck was missing parts and could not be used.  They agreed to let me go purchase a new faucet and he would wait.  Took him only a few minutes to install the new faucet.  Asked if installing the new faucet would fix water leaks under the sink and he told me yes.  Asked about piping and he informed me that that would be an additional charge.  He did turn something and that seemed to help, but still leaking now.  Also could of cleaned up his small mess under the sink.  He was a very nice young man and seemed very knowledgeable.  Understand he is working for a company, but felt every question I asked, he had to check to see how much it was going to cost me.  $99.00 for one hour of plumbing was very misleading.  Read fine print and felt I understood what I was purchasing, but now I feel I was taken advantage of.  First time using Angie's List and probably the last.  Could of done better on my own, but lesson learned.  Read review of another customer too late.  He had the same issue with what we purchased.

    They responded quickly to my coupon purchase. I called them to schedule and was surprised that I had to schedule a free estimate appointment. I even mentioned to the person on the phone that I thought the coupon total would cover most of the costs and made sure that I wouldn't be obligated and that I would get a refund of the coupon cost if the estimate was too pricy. The representative came by on 12/31 as scheduled. He basically counted the registers with me. (I could have counted myself and saved him the trip). Then he told me that the job total would be $750. I can't afford that much. I was thinking that since I live in a two bedroom townhouse, that I would be on the low end of the price range and that the coupon would cover most if not all of the costs. I can't imagine what they charge for a typical 3 or 4 bedroom house. He also asked me if I needed my vents "sealed"?? I just felt that I was completely priced out of this service.

    We had some incidents with them, but in the end they did a fantastic job. We were not informed that we had to do the rebates ourselves, and so we were not happy about that, because we lost about $140. The work they did was fine, it was just the rebate that we didn't get. 2 people came in, the guy that came to install was very professional. One guy came in and presented and gave the prices.  I thought the price was fair, but I did not compare it to anything at that time. They sell you good stuff, and they do good work, but when it came to the rebate, and I called them, that is when they threw the ball back at me and said I should have done it.

    The A/c technician showed up as promised on time, actually he was early which is fine. He did the tune-up, took pictures and showed me what needed to be done in the near future to preserve the A/C unit. Then he came inside measured and cleaned each vent in the house making sure that the correct volume of air is coming through each vent. This is where I was overwhelmed with the great service, he changed out the filter without charge, cleaned the return vent, climbed into the attic and checked the heating system for leaks, took pictures or the furnace, attic and ducts. Sat down with me and showed me everything that he took pictures of, let me know what it will take to fix everything that needs fixing and how much it will cost in writing.


    The plumbers showed early as well, after I showed them where the leaks were in the house they jumped right in and went to work with one replacing the faucet in the kitchen and the other working on the shower in the Master bedroom. The sink faucet had old hoses which were replaced along with the faucet at no additional charge. Caulking the new sink and other vulnerable areas around the kitchen where leaks could possibly take place sooner or later. While the shower was a bigger challenge in that the screw was stripped by the person who installed it. He gave me several choices to make the repair and even volunteered to look at several specialty shops in the Oakland area to find the goal trimming that we currently have, which was a special order. He did search on his own as did we and neither of us could find it, but the fact that Stewart looked without charge spoke volumes and it is the reason that I have chosen to update my review in favor of Stewart A/C and Plumbing. We will be using them to install the new sensor on the A/C unit, tape the gaps on the furnace and install new insulation in our attic.

    They did a really good job. I have allergies and I'm glad I had it cleaned. I don't regret it at all. It added to the life of my heating system. The heater was just wonderful once I got to see it. They charged me extra money to clean the heater and it was quite a bit more money. I think that it would be kind of nice if they said something pertaining to the heater. Maybe they could put a small caption that if you have a heater that needs to be cleaned out, then that could be an extra service charge. They should have some kind of way of letting you know so people can get their pennies together. They were really hard workers. They were able to come earlier than they originally planned.
