    It went wonderfully! The representative was named Tammar. She kept me up to date with the pick up and delivery. There was no damage at all to the car. The shipping took 6 days which was great! I'd give them an A+!

    Did an OK job, but charged a LOT more than he had quoted on the phone. It may have been a reasonable price, but the estimate should have been at least close. He could also have given me a revised estimate before he finished, so I could have been a more informed buyer. Very unprofessional! I felt cheated.

    What a delight to work with such a conscientious, courteous, and honest business owner. I have relied on Thomas Bell for all of our auto service for several years. He has always provided the service for the price estimated and once he could have done a $500 repair but when they began work on the car they discovered the problem was less severe and repaired the car for only $125.
    I would not hesitate to send my college age daughter to Bell's garage; I know she would be treated fairly and with respect.
    I recommend Bell's garage and Thomas Bell most highly.

    My car was over heating and losing radiator fluid due to the radiator cracking as well as the reservoir. It was discovered that something caused a hole in both and needed to be replaced, they also suggested replacing the thermostat (which made a lot of sense) and the upper and lower hoses also. I requested the fuel injector additive to improve on the performance of the car since it is a 1992.

    This is the second time that I have used them for this same vehicle, the first time I took it there my alternator had gone out, they had the new alternator installed and tested in less than four hours. Both times I walked in without an appointment and they took my work-order and treated me with professionalism. They signed me up for Sears rewards the very first time and applied the awards points towards my total which reduced the cost of my repairs. I'm a Sears fan for life!

    We have been using Goodyear in Pinole for years. We have had several different cars in the process and I keep going back to them. When they mention something else that needs attention I trust them enough to not question it. These guys are great. They are professional and knowledgeable.

    I use Sears for my oil change even though they are a little more expensive than some because it is in the mall and I can go to Books A Million or do some shopping. It is great if you want to have the teenagers take care of getting their own service done. I have not used them for other service or repairs for two reasons. First, they prefer that you arrange your service through a sales representative and it takes some effort to meet the person doing the work. And second, it doesn't seem like they keep their mechanics very long, at least I have never dealt with the same one twice.

    I have relied on Thomas Bell for a number of repairs both for myself and for friends. He deals directly with every customer. He is as honest as they come and very fair in his pricing. There is never a surprise when it comes time to pay because he always keeps me informed and talks through the repair if it goes beyond his initial evaluation. He has had numerous opportunities to take advantage of me or my friends and perform needless repairs and he never has. I highly recommend Bell's Garage and Thomas Bell. He is busy but if its an emergency (your only transportation) he has always fit us in.

    I was provided an detail estimate and description of the job to be done.  I thought they were honest because they indicated only the front axle needs work, and the back brakes can go for few more thousand miles before service is needed.
    The work was done professionally and I thought the price was fair.  They let me use my own pads and brake fluid, which lowered the price

    I have used this Midas 3 times, and I've been pleased with the service each and every time. When I enter, I am greeted either by John, the owner, or his son, which feels nice since you know they're invested in the outcome of each customer's issue. This summer I needed to replace two tires that had worn treads, and they ordered the tires for me and installed them on the same day. Not one week later I got a bad flat in one of the older tires, and I went back. They once again ordered matching tires (their computerized record system is nice, and since it's linked to Midas nation-wide I know that all my service records will be there) and installed them on the same day. John also explained what types of services I should consider in the future based on the current condition of my car and my high mileage (I just hit 100k).
    Overall, it's wonderful to go to a shop where they take the time to explain everything but don't talk to me like I'm an airhead. I don't specialize in cars -- that's what I pay Midas for -- but each time I leave I learn a little more about my car and that makes me happy.
