    Argos Construction
Argos Construction built a side wing to our home. They were extremely professional and the quality of the work is extraordinary. Just walk in my house or any of their projects and you will immediately see and feel the quality of the work. They kept us informed and helped us on every step of the way. Viktor guided us during the selection process and helped us decide where we could save money and where it made sense to upgrade. He has been building houses for years. He is a true craftsman and his insight and advice are invaluable. Viktor clearly defined the cost structure, payment schedule and dealt with all other miscellaneous items that popped up - his input and guidance was top notch. He were always available to contact with us and address any issues or concerns that arose. Everyone at Argos Construction is courteous and professional, providing quality service in all aspects. Would definitely highly recommend!

    Bay Remodels
We completed a construction of a new wing to our house with Bay Remodels and love the outcome. We were very impressed with their attention to detail during the planning phase and they always took care to keep our vision and preferences in mind throughout. Arsen and his team were easy to work with and they went out of their way to accommodate our wishes and requests. The craftsmanship is top notch and is combined with a tremendous attention to all the little details. Everyone at Bay Remodels is courteous and professional, providing quality service in all aspects. As with any project, there were some unexpected delays but Arsen always kept us informed throughout the process. This is our third construction experience and it has been by far the best. We would work with Bay Remodels again in the future and would recommend them for any similar projects.

    Argos Construction
Argos Construction did a terrific job remodeling our home. Viktor and his team was professional, knowledgeable and friendly and worked easily with the architect and us to solve a number of remodeling puzzles. The cost of the project was tracked with great care: we were given a detailed cost estimate before the project began and detailed updates whenever changes occurred. When questions arose, we found the Argos Construction team to be good listeners and thoughtful problem-solvers, and we were pleased that they remained on task until the last item on the punch list was completed. Best of all, in our view, was the quality of the workmanship, which was generally superb, particularly the carpentry. We are very happy in our home and would recommend Argos Construction without any hesitation, particularly to owners who care about craftsmanship and detail

    Bloomquist Construction Inc
Ken B and his crew helped us build the house we had envisioned and we are very grateful for the service he provided! Our construction was made complex by the fact that we split it into two back-to-back phases, while living onsite. We first tore down a portion of an old home, which we rebuilt into half of the new home (complete with kitchen, rooms, bathrooms, garage), completely finished. After moving from the old home into the new addition, we rebuilt the old home (from foundation and flooring up) into the other half of the new home, and finally connected the two sides. From the first day of demo until we completed the project, it took a little over a year and a half, with each individual construction project taking about half of that time - which we found very reasonable. Ken was very accommodating in making it so that we could live on site at all times, as well as allowing us to make refinements to the plans (when things weren't explicitly called out) all along the way. He did do very good work - calling in all the subs he needed to get the job done (i.e. roof, tile, plaster, paint), and was very competitive on price. Overall, we are very happy in our new home and are happy that we made the investment with Ken.

    Argos Construction
Viktor and his crew were wonderful to work with and did a great job for us. They completely renovated our master bath and powder room, remodeled our kitchen. They also put in new hardwood floors, added 2 new bathrooms, closets and lighting. And everything was painted. Viktor was very accessible and responsive throughout the planning and renovation process. His workers were skilled, immaculately clean and showed up when promised. I would highly recommend Viktor and his team. While Argos Construction's work is not cheap, it's worth it. I will never use anyone else for remodeling projects.

    Marin Home Restoration
All our projects were done to perfection. I really like that Dave is on site working with his crew. He is only working on your project until it is done. So many contractors have so many projects that they are working on with different clients at the same time. If the crew comes across a problem, the work stops until the contractor shows up days later. That holds up the progress and raises the cost. Since Dave is working on site, problems are resolved quickly. All of his crew are nice and thoughtful. They always clean up at the end of each day.

    Mulhall Construction
Construction went according to contractor's schedule.  The only delay was on the part of the City in performing inspections and final completion.  Mulhall took care of coordinating with the building tenants with regard to utility interruptions, vehicle parking, and noise mitigations.  Mulhall took special care to be sure that all architectural finishes matched the existing.  It is now hard to tell where the patch work was done because it blends so well with the old finishes.  I had gotten 3 bids for each project (City requirement in order to process the tenant "pass-through").  Although Mulhall was not the lowest, their bids were more comprehensive which resulted in no "surprise" add-ons during the project.  BE CAREFUL WITH THE LOWEST BID.....they're often low due to bidding errors and/or anticipated extra cost items.  Mulhall's bids were very professional and comprehensive and TRUSTWORTHY.  I've been a construction manager for 20 years and have dealt with hundreds of contractors.  I have great trust in Mulhall.

    Construction Services
The owner, Bob, provided the most comprehensive, well documented quote.
His references were excellent and he was a pleasure to deal with.
I didn't go with his team because they struggled with the foundation work and the price for that piece was a deal breaker.
We had the fully approved plans in hand, along with the soils engineering and structural work.
His team just didn't have the proper experience to work in the hills of San Mateo County for the extensive grading and drilling required for my specific project.
Also for the ~$440 sq foot price, it was well documented that a few other potential high dollar items were excluded.
This well documented bid was at least 30% higher then the next 'all encompassing' bid and as much as 45% higher than some of the others I received.

    Cill Dara Construction
We purchased our home in October of 2011. We began with structural upgrades and continued with various interior remodels. I hired a builder who I thought could handle the job but as it turns out he could not. I turned to Pio for help.
The job seemed to go on forever. The contractor that I originally hired dragged things out for over one year, but (as we've learned) a number of things were not done well or were done to a lower standard than what we should have expected.
My wife and I were at the end of our rope. I've known Pio for several years and he's helped me with various remodel projects, but I'd never really relied on him for anything big. Our problem was that we needed to fire the one contractor and bring someone on to problem solve and move the job forward. Not every contractor will take that on because so much work has already been done.
I called Pio to ask for help and I honestly had no idea how he'd respond or what to expect. In short, the results have been amazing.
Pio has stepped in to problem solve and help us to deal with problems that cropped up on the job. With his help, we're currently negotiating with our roofer to replace the non-functioning gutters on our beautiful shake roof. Pio's tiler came in to fix a problem in the bathroom that would have bugged us for years. (The walls aren't quite straight but one area was particularly onerous.) And Pio's working with us to sort out issues with a painter who really doesn't know how to paint, but who was happy to call his sub-standard job done and ready to walk away. (We're talking bad cut lines, work that wasn't prepped properly, brush strokes, and so on.) I could go on about the number of issues with the prior work but no matter. Pio knows what he's doing and he has the people to fix things.
There's still more to be done on the job but I can say that Pio's sub contractors are amazing and he doesn't waste any time. Let him know that there's an issue and he'll come up with a solution. Alert him to a problem and he's right on it. He knows how to get things done, what to expect, and how to problem solve when issues come up (as they always do).
Things are moving; almost overwhelmingly so. After months of work, the chimney is finally finished. The attic is signed off. Kitchen and bathrooms are basically done. Floors are being refinished as we speak. Windows are being repaired. Painting will be wrapped up. And the gutters will be repaired, one way or another. Suddenly, it looks like we might actually be able to move in!
If you're looking for a contractor who will listen to you, problem solve, and deliver a quality job, on time, call Pio.
