  • My garage door was coming apart and could only be opened manually. The rollers on one side were off track also. I made an appointment and was quoted 85.00 if it only needed to be serviced. I thought I would need a new door. The guy arrived on time and when he checked out the door he told me he could fix it. He also noticed a cracked at the top of the door which he reinforced with a piece of metal. He serviced the opener also and I have not had any problems with anything. They are a family owned business that has been operating for over 30 years. I only paid the quoted price. Very professional across the board. Great company.

  • I purchased a concrete service from Cal Neva on June 18th....Vincent, from the company, came out and gave me an idea of how much it would cost - far too expensive for me to afford. His cost was outrageously expensive, I had my entire patio poured (huge) for less than what I was quoted. Makes me think I can do it myself/or I should learn how to do it for myself. One 4x4 square would have cost $129.00 per square! I will be using Angie's new snapshot feature to get bids before paying for this project.

  • Terrific experience from beginning to end.  VERY professional.  We visited the showroom, then Brent Potter came to the house to measure, listen to our needs and sketch out designs.  I had to go back to the mainland but when I got back, we went to the showroom, made some revisions, got suggestions for the changes, and agreed to a plan for all three rooms--two bedrooms and one office area.  These are pretty substantial installations.  There are many choices of woods, patterns, etc.  We opted for items beyond the basic levels.  We got  1.  Small bedroom, double wall bed, desk space along an entire wall--height specific for sewing, with two drawer stacks, mouse holes for cords, and a pull out shelf for sewing machine.  Beadboard level of trim.  Wall bed goes up, out of the way until guest come.   2.  Somewhat larger bedroom, queen sized wall-bed, drawers are both sides of bed, remote controlled lighting above the bed for reading, and bookshelves on the one side (other side, drawers are under a window).  We chose raised wood design.  3.  Office--u shaped desk area, main length is a 10 foot wall with returns on both sides less than 10 feet.  Four large file drawers, two drawer stacks (one file drawer and two drawers), plus two upper cupboards and stacker for paper.  All sized to the space and care taken for existing windows.    A pull out shelf for the photo printer,  Some storage tucked back under one side which is perfect for paper, boxes of file folders, etc.  Think a space for photography work, genealogy and mundane life tasks, such as bill paying.  We chose maple and Italia.
The installers were terrific, installed precisely, cleaned up well, adjusted a shelf at our request and explained everything in detail.   Very professional company, every person and all products--top experience here or anywhere else we have lived.   Local owners and in business for the long haul.
Note, wall beds do not include the mattresses but they have a professional relationship with a firm which makes appropriate height mattresses--includes a discount and free delivery.
Note on cost:  It adds up and every time you add a feature the cost goes up, but when you try to do something for a specific space, even using IKEA shipped here, it really adds up and you cannot get the custom measurements and space and quality you get with their approach and products.   We are HAPPY.

  • I recently took possession of my mom's place and as it turns out, she wasn't big on home
maintenance. There is a tall gate at the front of the house and the hinge pole (?) rusted completely thru and the gate crashed to the
ground. I am not from here and had no idea who to call. I was hoping that UCFence would be able to offer a suggestion. No, they came out, took a look and said "no problem we can fix it today"! The were honest, straight forward, very NICE, and assured me it was not too small a job. I left to take care of some business and when I returned home in the evening my gate was fixed. I love them! Their price was very reasonable.

  • Truth, Inc. is a licensed general building contractor.  My contact at Truth was Daniel, the Principal.  Daniel sat down and explained everything to be done at our first meeting and wrote up the contract.  His price was good so we proceeded with the work. I was having a re-roofing project done, so Truth was not able to start immediately.  Daniel said that was no problem and to give him a call when the wood repair was completed so he could schedule his start. We changed to Texcote after the contract was signed so Daniel add an additional $1,500 for that change.
Truth's workmen showed up on the first day and began sanding the eves followed by painting of the eves and priming of the stucco.  They required about 5 days to complete the work and brought on a big crew at the end of the week to finish up. There were a few items on the punch list and Daniel sent the crew back in two weeks to finish those items.
The windows were special ordered and could not be installed before completion of painting.  When the windows arrived, Daniel promptly called me and scheduled installation.  There was a problem with several of the windows being slightly larger that the opening, but Daniel brought out an expert installer and the windows were installed with a minimum of disruption to me and my family.  Most of the work was done from the outside and they covered the inside with plastic sheeting to keep demolition dust and debris out.  They sealed and repainted the window openings. There was surprisingly little damage to the outside stucco and they touched up minor areas. My wife and I are very happy with the result and glad we had it done.
The wood fence was a particular challenge.  It is about 10 years old.  Daniel tried staining it, but that didn't work.  So he painted it with solid color redwood stain at his expense.  The result is excellent.
Daniel is honest and he lives up to his word.  The only change orders were those requested by me. All promised work was satisfactorily completed.

  • Bruce did a great job. He always showed up on time and completed the job ahead of schedule.  He is the hardest working man I have ever seen.  Moheit Concrete is a family business and when it came time to do the finishing work he brought his 2 daughters who have a lot of experience and the three of them finished it off quickly. I highly recommend this company for anyone needing concrete work or block walls whether the job is small or large.

  • It went pretty well. We have used this company before and been pleased. Its nice when you have a trusting relationship with a quality contractor as it takes a lot of the stress out of a project. We have some more things coming

up in the interior of our new residence that we will employ this companies services for in the near future and will keep you updated on that.

  • This was a first class experience all the way! Our wooden fence was blown down in a wind storm and we contacted Fence It Up for an estimate. Jason came out and gave us the best estimate we had gotten, and explained the materials used and the way the project would go. When we were ready, he came back and worked out the final price, which was very close to the estimate, and scheduled the job. The crew arrived on the scheduled day and they were great. The whole job took 4 days and they did a super job, even figuring out how to cover some very uneven terrain in the back yard. The job included a utility/trash surround with a gate, as well as driveway gates. When they were done, the place looked wonderful. I can't believe how much the vinyl fencing brightens up the entire property. The crew left everything clean and in order. As they were loading up the leftover supplies, we asked if we could keep the leftover fence planks, just in case. We were thinking they could be used for repairs somewhere down the road, but our son used them to build raised planting beds instead!

We are very happy with our experience with Fence It Up, and would use them again in a minute!
