    Cleveland Clinic
They are thorough. They are on top of the game as far as I'm concerned. They are professional, friendly, helpful, and you can interact to them anytime you need to talk to a doctor. It's very easy to get through to a doctor. We don't have a wait time for the program we go to. There's no rating for bedside manner because I haven't been a patient there.

I appreciated the person following up on this situation. My daughter's treatment was finalized and everything went well. It was good to get the follow up phone call showing that someone else (besides me) was looking out for our best interest.

In short, not well. The number of phone calls with them to resolve problems has been very high. The biggest problem was because, according to Medicare, UHC does not want a bill forwarded to them when Medicare covers 100% of the cost. On the surface, not forwarding a zero balance bill would appear to make sense. However, when UHC does not receive a bill for a hospital stay, they assume there was no hospital stay. The PROBLEM is that if a hospital is and quot;in-networkand quot; then all providers during the hospital stay are treated as and quot;in-networkand quot;. However, if they do not get the bill forwarded from Medicare, UHC treats all of the individually and quot;out-of-networkand quot; providers as and quot;out-of-networkand quot; instead of as and quot;in-networkand quot; as they should. As a result, they pay nothing because of the high deductible on and quot;out-of-networkand quot;. If they are doing this to others, they are probably saving themselves tens to hundreds of millions of dollars. I have received the run-a-round on this for a long time. At first several, agents said to fax them copies of the Medicare statements saying the balance was zero. Then when I talked to a supervisor, she said to get an itemized bill from the hospital and fax it to her personal fax. She promised to call me in week. That was several months ago. I have called back and left a message on her personal phone several times but she has never called back. I am now back from vacation and re-energized to do battle with them again. Please wish me luck.

    World Traveler's Healthcare
She is the best!!! After a follow-up visit my symptoms were put into check and the realization came in about prioritizing certain items in my life so that I was not pulled in different directions and constantly getting sick. It was because of her exceptional listening skills, thorough examination and creating a clear game-plan on the longevity of health is the reason why I keep going back anytime I have any ailments. The no-nonsense approach about addressing the problems and finding solutions is comforting and so helpful to getting better!

    Thousand Oaks Surgical Hospital
It is a lovely place. It is like being in a five star hotel. I have been there once. It is not an emergency hospital, it is a hospital where appointments are planned and doctors own it, it is lovely. It is very nice. Everybody is very helpful and very friendly. I don’t have to wait. There is no emergency room. Everybody in there has insurance. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

    Thousand Oaks Surgical Hospital
there was confusion regarding the required pre-op tests ordered by my physician versus what the hospital required. I was told byer the my doctors office to have the hospital call them if there was any probnlems. Instead the nurse at the hospital overode the doctor's order and added a check mark to his order. seemed kind of unethical to me. after i got through the pre-op fiasco everyhting went pretty well with the surgery except I don't think I wa educated enough as to what I should expect at home. I was just given generic advise. As a result, i had to spent an extra $800 at an emergency room over the weekend for a test I probably could have avoided. live and learn!

    Thousand Oaks Surgical Hospital
This is an amazing hospital. They had free coffee and treats when I went to get the initial blood work and x-rays done. The check in was friendly and efficient and the place is comfortable and pleasant. More like a hotel than a hospital. I was not kept in the recovery room any longer than necessary and everyone was friendly and always let me know what was going on. When I got to my room was huge and had six windows. It had a couch that turned into a pullout bed for a loved one. It is also quiet! All of the nurses were friendly. When I rang a bell, there was a nurse there immediately. If my nurse was busy then another nurse came with a smile on her face. The care I received was just amazing. And the food is terrific. As good as you get at an upscale restaurant. Even the physical therapy was done carefully and friendly. I almost hated to leave.
