Work was performed as rated;  the problem could not be 'solved' without jack hammering up a concrete slab.  This was not an acceptable solution and a compromise work around was executed.

Ori and assistant arrived punctually.  I appreciated that they even brought shoe covers (on a rainy day).  The furnaces both quit heating during the last cold spell. First, Ori explained that the furnaces were quite old and might be repaired, or need replacement. Luckily for us, he examined the units thoroughly and figured out which parts were broken.  He went to pick up parts (Control Board) for the garage unit and came back the same day to fix it.  We were glad we did not need layers of blankets to sleep that night.  Replacing units would have cost over $1,000 each plus installation charges.  The attic unit needed parts to be ordered, and he came back 2 days later to repair it.  Galaxy is very professional, straight forward and conscientious.  He always gave me status and updates.  I asked about Air Conditioning units, and Ori said we need to wait till weather to tune up.  I will call them again.

Ed Paster & Son Plumbing & Rooter
The Plumber who came used a snake or plunger himself and ended up completely flooding not only the upstairs bathroom, but it also dripped down to the first floor bathroom below it.
He quickly called emergency repair services and left without any sort of write up or bill of any kind.
We used our homeowners insurance to pay for the $28,000 in damages that he did and are in subrogation with this firm to pay for our deductible, but they claim that the person who showed up never worked for their company and are fighting - all for a measly $1,000 deductible that would be helpful to us, and would have saved us writing up a bad review for them.
I should also say that they sent a followup repair man a week later who recommended buying a new toilet because the other one was old and probably wouldn't seal properly.  When the insurance removed the toilet to remove the flooring and air it all out, they discovered that the only thing wrong was that a hand-towel had slipped into it and was clogging near the base - I'm no plumber, but I would expect that any plumber worth their weight could remove a toilet, remove a towel, and replace it without doing so much damage, or recommending unnecessary cost to replace a perfectly functioning piece of equipment - it works just great now.

Eric Bowman answered the phone. No need to wait for call back. Was extremely helpful and explained what the problem could be with a drain back up in the sink. Gave a great price for a Sunday call. Was a little off on the time scheduled but called to expained the delay. Had a tech come to calabasas. He drove from Palmdale to provide service to me the same day. Ivan arrived. He was knowledgeable, helpful, knew how to fix the problem, had a sense of humor, and plenty of patience. We was able to fix the clog in the pipe. Took a few hours and even waited while my honey did a store run to buy the pipes that would help us to have things set up for easier repair if the problem occurred, by our error, again. He cleaned up his mess, accepted check or credit card, and completed out most pleasant drain repair. I was really impressed from top to bottom. He was more then fair on the price, considering all the time spent.. Would definitely use in the future and would gladly refer to a friend!!

    The Rooter Drain Expert Inc
I purchased this as part of the Big Deal.  I believe I paid 150 or so.  The actual value was 650 and I believe it. The two gentlemen were here for no less than 2. 5 hours. They hydro jettted out sewer main (house to street) which is close to 100 feet.  They used a camera before and after. Explained everything as they went along.  I expected a quick job since it was part of the "Big Deal" but they clearly completed the job as if I was paying the full price.

They used the camera to inspect about 300 feet of sewer pipe, I have the DVD.  They used the HydroJet to clear out a large bundle of roots which had invaded the pipe.  The camera then verified that the pipe was clear.  They were friendly and very capable.  I will use them again.

Well, they came in and Dalton & crew were fabulous. They isolated the room where they were working and kept everything so neat and clean.
I loved how they placed the protective materials on my flooring and walls in the work area. Would highly recommend them.

    Supreme Remodeling Inc
When we bought our home, we knew we had a lot of work that needed to be done.   We were very concerned about finding the best and HONEST contractors.  We interviewed 4 contractors whom each gave us various different bids....with a huge range in estimated costs.  Supreme was not the cheapest, but we can happily say we think they are the BEST.   We chose them initially because we felt they were the most honest and they would not try to squeeze extra things out of us. It was set up as an all inclusive price and we really appreciated how they honored this.  They had only 1 bad review, but it was clear that review was a overly aggressive and we decided to go with our instincts.  Micky and Patrick have proved that our instincts were correct.  In a world of horror contractor stories, We feel very LUCKY to have found them.   Micky would just ask me what I wanted...and then just made it happen.  No questions.  No worries.
Inevitably, we did run into major issues with our home. We uncovered a huge unknown foundation issue and also discovered that our pipes were set directly into our foundation and ready to crack.  Micky knew who to call and had his experts out the very next day.  After discussing both issues with Micky, he gave us a few options.  There are always cheaper band aids to remedy issues and more expensive cures.  Supreme never pushed either way on us...they simple explained the issues, which were very obvious ( 1" cracks in our foundation), and brought in experts to help us understand.  Then they let us choose.  We really appreciated how they did not push the more expensive choice on us and were willing to go with whatever we chose.  We, of course, needed to dig holes in our living room and re-pour  part of our foundation.  We got a few outside opinions and estimates which mimicked Supreme's assessment. In addition,  Supreme bid for this extra FOUNDATION work  was very competitive as well.  Simply proving they are honest, hardworking, and really do take care of their clients.
Another HUGE  compliment is to their communication.  Micky would regularly call me in the evening to tell me exactly what was happening during that week, who was coming, and when.  There were no surprises.  We were always informed.  This is HUGE and was really appreciated.  Supreme completely changed our entire home and their work was excellent!  We are extremely happy and would recommend them without hesitation.  They are warm, hardworking, and get the job done.  They seem like family to us now.

    Conover Plumbing
Todd and his crew were very punctual, professional, and got the job done which the other plumber could not.
I keep telling my husband that baby wipes are not flushable but  he doesn't listen..... hence my need for a good plumber.  After one plumber failed to do the job ( within a day of the repair) I called Conover Plumbing after a friend recommended them.  They were out within an hour and did an incredible job. I highly recommend them.  Now only if I could train my husband not to flush the "unflushables"!!! :)

I have many trees which over the years send roots into the sewer lines.  I've had to have them cleaned out and replaced several times.  When I saw the deal on Angie's List I decided to clean things out before I had a problem.  It was the right decision.  The appointment had to be rescheduled but was handled smoothly.  The guy who showed up was friendly and explained everything that he would do.  He ran the camera down the sewer line, showing live what the potential problems were - it was recorded on a DVD which he gave to me at the end of the job.  He then sent a high pressure hose down the line and cleaned out all the roots and gunk.  And I know it was done properly because he ran the camera through a second time and showed me the difference.  He had to reposition the equipment to access a second cleanout to complete the job.  My sewer line is over 300 feet running down a steep driveway but it was all completed in about two hours.  No hassle.  No bait and switch.  No extras for extra cost.  I will use them again and I will tell my friends and family about my experience.
