    Finley's Tree & Landcare Inc
Finley's is the best tree car provider in the South Bay. They are easy to work with, affordable, and just do an overall great job. This is the second time I have used them, and very happy both times. Jordan and his team were quick, efficient, and easy to work with.

Have used them before and they do wonderful work at a good price but where a returning customer leaves message for an estimate for a job , they should at the very least return the call. Very disappointed

    Affordable Tree Service
Luis , the owner called me back right away and came the very same day to give a fair estimate to remove a ficus and 2 bougainvillea .
He was very professional and kind. I went with another company that I also found on here on Angies list. They were $150 cheaper and did a very good job, but not with the same intimate , one on one service that Luis offer. The other company was more like a mill process . get a number and get in line

They were 15 minutes ahead of time and came in two separate crews and time. The removal crew came at 8A and moved swiftly and safely with no trace of them being there afterward. Impeccably clean.  The stump removal  crew arrived at 10A . They removed a gate to get machine back in the yard and put the gate back on before they left.  They too did a very good job although they moved some outdoor furniture and didn't return it to original space.  Overall very pleased with their work and tidiness.

    Timberland Tree Co
The workers arrived on time along with a man by the name of Mike who seemed to organize everything. After he had gotten the workers started, he left because he had another job to tend to. The men got to work--they were very boisterous, but that was fine as long as the work got done. They replanted a Rubber tree which I thought would have to be uprooted and thrown out. I was very happy it was able to be saved. Then my husband had to keep going out to tell them what needed to be done. He speaks fluent Spanish. We then had to have them re-do the work since it had not been done correctly. First, they had to be told to cut the Bougainvillea back more than they had. Then we looked at the Podocarpus and, although they were trimmed, they weren't thinned out. There were also cut branches still stuck in the trees as well as branches half cut off. I went outside and spoke with the foreman about the Podocarpus. I explained about the branches and about how things needed to be thinned out. He just stared at me. I must have told him several times and there was no response. I asked him if he understood what I was saying and he replied, "Yes, so you mean you want them to look ugly?" I told him of course not, but I did want them thinned out. Well, they got back to work. I had to leave and my husband was here. We both agreed that it was like pulling teeth to get the job done correctly. The trees were thinned out a bit, but there are still half cut branches hanging down and it just looks like a very sloppy job.

    Gentle Ben's Trees and Landscaping
he estimate and the work were done promptly and thoroughly.  the resulting mess was completely removed. the ficus was difficult because it was so large and in a very difficult location - it was up against the garage and had shoved the entire garage over about 3 inches. it was also up against a concrete wall. The roots (which were completely removed) were very deep and difficult. all the workers and Ben were quite pleasant which made the whole experience positive also.

    Finley's Tree & Landcare Inc
Finley's was recommended to us by our plumber who had used them. They came out to the house and went over everything we needed to have done. When they saw one of our palm trees, they said it looked like it had a fungal problem and might have to be removed. A picture was taken and it was decided that it had to be removed. Apparently when we had had the trees serviced before, someone had put spikes in the tree which opened up areas in which a fungus could enter. They gave us an estimate which did not include the removal of the palm tree, but said that if it had to be removed it would cost $300. Finley's was supposed to have come to do the work on November 30, but they were having problems with one of their machines so they could not come until December 1. They called in the morning to say they would be here between 11-1. They arrived right at 11 and started the work. A man by the name of Evan spoke with us and all throughout the entire process, checked to see how we wanted certain things done and if everything looked OK. Everybody was professional from start to finish. A breakdown of our costs: $35./palm tree to be trimmed; $300. for the removal of one palm tree; $300. to trim the Podocarpus in the backyard. Everything was cleaned up afterwards. They asked if they could come out tomorrow to finish removing a small bit of stump from the palm tree and, of course, we said yes. Finley's is a real find. Very reasonably priced and professional. Will definitely use them again.

    Timberland Tree Co
My 50-year-old magnolia tree was badly overgrown, but my previous tree trimmer had retired and I was nervous about using someone new because of safety concerns (all my home's utility wires go through the tree's branches) and aesthetics (the tree is a key feature of my corner lot). I found Timberland Tree Co through Angie's List, Tim was responsive, professional and did the job within two days of providing his bid. The tree looks great (as does my queen palm which he also trimmed). All the debris was cleaned up and hauled away (included as part of his very reasonably priced bid). I'll definitely use Timberland Tree next time, too.

    Chris' Tree Service
Overall very satisfied, Chris's team did a good job with the work, offered a fair price, cleaned up after themselves, adn did exactly what I asked. Also offered some good recommendations on which trees to trim, which to remove, etc.

    MGA Tree Service & Landscaping
They were great. I had three other quotes, one from my existing gardener. The quotes ranged from $1800 to $2100. MGA came and gave me a quote of $450 and I thought they must have left off the 1 but I went ahead and singed the quote. They didn't get back to me for about ten days, I thought they realized the error of their bid so I called them and they said "we're really sorry, we've been caught up in a project and will be over tomorrow". I needed to clear when I bid it out that the roots have to be hand-dug, that no poison could be used and everything had to be dug and carried out in a very, very small as in like a 20 by 50 lot with neighbors on either side so the tree couldn?t come over the house and the tree couldn't come down to the side of the house. It all had to be manually chopped, manually dug out and manually brought out. I mean, it was really crazy so $2100 was probably a good bid. These guys were amazing and did everything that I asked them to do. The site was beautifully cleaned, there was no damage and consequently I ended up referring them to my neighbors and they did my neighbor's work. So, they did amazing work and had amazing workers. They had like three trucks here, they had a chipper and they had a crane even though I told them they couldn't crane over my house so I think they just brought it as a precaution. I give them high praise. I have referred them to other people too and would absolutely use them again. I don't have a tree now to take down but yeah, I would.
