Frank Martinez driving through neighborhood & saw me cutting back plants in front yard. Pausing to ask If I need help, I said yes (don't own hedge trimmer needed). Frank shared he was working on floor tile at nearby house, so I quickly showed him our 10-year-old flooring with gaps & cracks. Due to both our previous commitments, scheduling days at first was hard. But he was readily responsive to cell phone calls and texts. The difference in our floor tile for little expense is amazing.

Where do I begin... I am crying as I write this as I was so very excited to get new flooring today. Dee "helped" me with LVP flooring that was to be installed at my house this morning. She called me the end of last week to confirm that the installer would be at my house between 8 and 9 am. Nine am came and still no installer. I called Pacific and spoke with Alyssa who informed me Dee wasn't in yet. I explained to Alyssa that the installer wasn't there yet and she responded that she had no idea when they were supposed to be there and would have Dee call me when she got in at 10. Dee never called. At 10:45 Alyssa called me again to tell me the installer was on his way. At 11:45 he shows up and asks me if the materials were at my house. I explained that they were not. He went to make a phone call in my driveway and in the meantime I called Pacific again. Dee still wasn't available so I explained to a man who answered (Richard I think) that the installer did not have the flooring and thought that it was at my house.. By this time, having the installer show up several hours late, no phone call, no explanation, and in addition he didn't even have the materials, that I no longer wanted their services, they are incompetent. I then receive a call from Nicole (still not Dee) apologizing for the "language barrier". She told me that she would pass my concerns to the owner and Dee. I again explained that I no longer trusted this company to install my flooring. Dee finally returns my call at 12:30, arguing with me that it was a "language barrier" and that they would come back. I reminded her of another lady who called to complain about the same installer and was furious and insisted on speaking to Dee (even though I was right there at Dee's desk) she took the call in front of me and was on the phone with the lady for about 10 minutes. She then told me he was to be my installer and assured me that he was "great" and she had never had a complaint about him before. I should have seen the red flags and left right then. During our phone call this afternoon, Dee continued to argued with me that this was a language barrier mistake and that this wasn't the same installer, even though on 2 separate occasions prior, she said he was great , not to worry about that lady's complaint, and he would take care of me. When I brought that up on the phone today her response was, he isn't even the same guy. One lie after another. Several weeks ago Dee also told me that I was approved for financing three times the amount that I was really approved for, then had to call me back to apologize for the mistake. Again, I should have walked away after all of the mistakes that were made and saved myself the heartache and stress. I suggest looking elsewhere for flooring if you do not want the same

Horrible. Crown flooring hired an unlicensed contractor to do the work, who in turn brought in his girlfriend and some old guy to help with the floors who obviously were NOT CONTRACTORS!! We have a brand new house, and they caused a lot of damage to my home. I caught the guys sleeping in my closets when they were supposed to be working. The owner Pierre said they were probably tired!! Really?????? I also did not know that his guy was unlicensed until things started going wrong and I pressed him on it, then he told me. He also said if I wanted a licensed contractor that it would cost double what I paid which was $10,586 exactly! I would never in a million years hire this guy again, he is aware he is breaking the law and told me this is common practice in the industry to bring in an unlicensed contractor to do work. So I have damage done to my home, the job wasn't perfect, and they were sleeping in my closets, were late everyday. It is a fact Crown Flooring hired and uses Unlicensed Contractors to do the jobs they are hired for. NEVER AGAIN! Too much damage to my home, ****** attitudes, and $10,586 gone. And we were forced to use the product he had access to, we weren't allowed to say go to Home Depot and pick out flooring. The flooring he uses is called Elite. They also didn't care about the damage done to my home when confronted about it. It was like talking to a brick wall.

Our friends recommend Capital Countertops to us. We were very pleased after meeting with Juan Orozco that they could meet our schedule needs, as well as our budget. He was punctual and professional. The day of installation the workers were very careful to prepare the worksite to minimize a mess from removal of old countertops. They worked through the day cleaning up After every step. We were very impressed with their craftsmanship. Juan Orozco has been available through out the whole process as well as on site during construction to answer all our questions. Very pleased with the end results and recommend this company.

We have a room divider between the kitchen and the family room whose surface always looked bad because it was just painted wood. My wife and I decided to put tile on it.
We had an anniversary party coming up on Saturday, and I called Ron on Wednesday to ask if he could squeeze the job in before Saturday. We got lucky because he had a few hours between jobs on Friday.
So we went to the hardware store and picked out some wood trim to go around the top of the divider, and tile for the top of the divider.
Ron and his assistant came out and put the trim around the top first, then laid the tile on top. It only took them a couple of hours, and now it looks great and will be easy to keep clean.
My wife and I are both happy with the job, but honestly, it wasn't really a surprise because Ron had done the tile installation for our new kitchen a year ago, and it was a beautiful job, so I knew this would be good too.
The price was only for the labor because we had purchased all the materials before Ron arrived on Friday.

Greg provides top quality workmanship at a reasonable cost. However, if you are looking for somebody to quickly slap down some tiles, forget it. Greg is meticulous and uncompromising when it comes to quality installation. So it does take some time, since he works my himself. I'd invite him back into my house for more work in a New York second. Great guy!

Throught the entire process, Dan Jones and his partner Joe cleaned up every day. Each step of the process was clearly explained. It was obvious that they knew what had to be done and were very experienced. He showed us how they waterproofed the new floor pan to prevent any leaks. The walls and floor were floated as they should have been. They were always on time and each step of the process was completed within the given time frame. The new tile shower and glass block wall are beautiful and professionaly done. They also expertly repaired/replaced the water-damaged drywall in the adjoining closet! Jones Custom Tile and Stone is as professional as you can get. It is obvious that they care about their work and take pride in it. It is also obvious that they care about their clients and go the extra mile to assure their satisfaction. Without any hesitation, I would reccommend them for any tile job.

It was the best experience ever!  We were very apprehensive as we are new to the area and not many folks we knew had done remodeling.  We checked Angie's list and out of the 3 vendors we contacted, Mitchell won the job.  The other two companies responded,  but never followed through with appointment once set -- and in once case, cancelled the morning of the appointment and never rescheduled.
We are so happy we selected Mitchell Construction. We will most definitely use them for anything else we need.
We had a window replaced with a sliding door In the master bedroom, allowing us access to back patio area.  The original stainless steel sink in the kitchen was a mess -- the house was a foreclosure and was closed up for over a year.  We bought a new sink, faucet and disposal.  Mitchell had to cut out the old sink as the original construction was "interesting".
We had a single stall shower with no bench and a spa/Jacuzzi bathtub.  The tub was impossible to get and out of.  We wanted a walk-in shower without a step -- seamless.  Jonathan and his team allowed us to have our vision!  We had quartz walls installed, an amazing shower head, great flooring.  They had to completely redo the floors as there were two drains.  They jackhammered away and made a wonderful drain for our great shower.  We had them install glass blocks in a stair-step pattern on top of the quartz half- wall surround..  Just glorious.  Brand new flooring and a new toilet installed.
We are so happy with our new bathroom.  We so enjoyed working with Jonathan and his team.  A great family business.  A great work ethic.  Great personalities, thorough, responsive, responsible and full of great ideas to help us get the bathroom of our dreams in a timely fashion.  A great value. We'll miss seeing them!
