  • I used them any time the dog needs them. They are my vet. Their location was close to the house. They were very good and everything has taken before. I think their prices were reasonable. I am just comfortable with the veterinarians. They were located with good prices and quality care.

  • I've used Lacey Animal Hospital on several occasions for my two dogs. This most recent trip was the second visit for my new puppy as part of their and quot;puppy packageand quot;. The package is right around $120 and it includes the first four visits and all shots and deworming in that period, a stool sample analysis, and a bag of food. With vet visits running right around $30 per visit before any services are conducted it ends up being a very good deal.
Wait time was minimal, and all the staff are friendly and professional. I highly recommend Lacey Animal Hospital.

  • I have used this vet before when I received an animal through the Kings SPCA. They are very thorough and are dedicated to their pet clients. The front staff are very knowledgeable and courteous. They all make the pets feel at ease.
Although this visit was free, the $25.00 is for antibiotics the cat needed for an upper respiratory infection.
I would definitely go back to them should the need arise.

  • Briefly, it became more apparent that I was imposing on them with my sick dog.  Other dogs of mine who had been under their care were not better off afterwards.  Their attitude went downhill so it was the best thing to find another vet who actually would take care of my dog appropriately by diagnosing the problems correctly.

I have upgraded this to a "C" as I factored in all of the times visited overall.

  • I graded the Doctors "B" because they are actually very good at what they do -it's the office staff and management that caused the problems I am currently having. My cat became ill, so I made an appt. The Vet said she needed tests which could cost as much as $200.00. This would not include treatment. I made it quite clear that is she were to have a chronic illness which would affect her quality of life and cause her suffering, she should be euthanized.Let me make it perfectly clear that I haven't much money; I work part-time at minimum wage and am near to becoming homeless. I told the Vet could not afford to spend more than $600.00 to save her - they noted that on the chart. The tests showed she did not have kidney disease, nor feline lukemia. The Vet told me she thought my kitty had perhaps suffered trauma to her tongue, causing an ulcer, but the good news was she would be fine after rest and insertion of a feeding tube. My kitty had a feeding tube inserted the following day, and I picked her up the day after that.

When I picked my cat up, the diagnosis had changed - a different Vet told me he thought my cat was chronically ill with a virus - and that this virus could come back again and again and again.  I had authorized charges up tp $600.00 only; the morning of the day I took her home the Vet told me charges were up to $630.00, but if I picked her up at 5pm, there would be no additional hospitalization fee. He also told me the 1st Vet had done tests not on the estimate I was shown - and after I signed the estimate, I never received a copy. He further told me that he preferred to keep her, but knew my budget was limited. Later that day my final bill was $703.85.

This hospital misrepresented my cat's diagnosis and exceeded my authorized amount for charges: after $300.00 on tests the vet told me my kitty would be fine, another $330.00 later a different Vet told me she could relapse at any time which means MORE costs - I had specifically said that if she had an incurable disease I would have to put her down; it's not humane for her to suffer like this. The final bill exceeded estimated and authorized cost by almost $100.00, and the staff were very rude when called on the discrepancies in billing, in fact, they told me I could not bring my cat back again, despite the fact she has a feeding tube inserted into her esophagus... what about my poor kitty?  I am very unhappy and would stress that if you're looking for an honest vet, stay away from Hanford Vet Hospital. The Vets are kind, it's the hidden charges, and unauthorized costs and the staff that are a nightmare.

  • They did a great job, they are also very nice. They were able to help me on very short notice. Also very reasonable pricing.
