    They're very timely, and you don't wait for an hour or two like I did with previous doctors.  You can do a lot of things with them online.  I had a medication that wasn't working well for me, and I was able to communicate with my doctor via email.  He gave me prescription and something else right away.  I also saw there my endocrinologist for my cancer surgery, and I was very pleased with them.  I would absolutely use them again in the future.

    I was taken right into the ER. My doctor was professional and ordered quite a few tests and lab.  I felt he was very thorough.  The staff, nurses, lab workers, techs, etc.; as usual, were very friendly.  I was released in 2.5 hours--very quickly by ER standards.  I did not mark the billing and administration since my HMO is to be billed---I have had prior problems with the billing of ER visits.

    They are terrific. It is a one-stop shop. The way Kaiser works is that they have all of the departments there in one place. If we want to see a podiatrist or an orthopedist, every specialty is there. We always go to the same place, except for major surgery as it is not a hospital but a medical center. They are building a hospital soon in the area. The problem is that we have to go down to Panorama City, which is about 100 miles away if we have major surgery. They have urgent care there, so we can go there if we break an arm or if something happens. We have our assigned doctor, and then he can refer us to other specialists. It is all right there in one place. They are sort of a model for the efforts to create more effective health systems in the country, because they are one of the first ones with electronic medical records (EMR). We can e-mail our doctor from home and get all our test results from home. We can make appointments from home on our PC. When we go in and talk to the doctor, the computer is there and they bring up our records, it is all electronic and there are no paper records. We sit there and the doctor shows us things on the computer, checks information and discusses that. If we have to have an x-ray, within about 5-10 minutes, the doctor has the x-ray on his computer. They are fully electronic and it's really great. They do everything to remind us of our appointments. They have a website and the communication is good. We are on the senior advantage program within Kaiser, so we plan to stay with that.

    My experience with them was good. They have a very good staff and their very professional. They only negative and its really not specific to them its to the whole industry in the pricing. I would use them again in the future.

    After falling down the stairs while visiting relatives 600 miles from home, my husband had torn all the ligaments away from his knee. We went to the local emergency room, and he was advised to have surgery, ASAP. We drove 9 hours to the Panorama facility. They reviewed his exrays, and scheduled him for the next morning. We returned, they did the surgery, and sent him home a few hours later to recover at home. All went smoothly and he has made a complete recovery.
