Drywall Repair reviews in Hacienda Heights

SES builders did for our house an amazing remodeling job. They remodeled my master bathroom, master bedroom, hallway, stairs and the guest bathroom. Joe, our project manager, was very skilled and professional from the beginning we met till the end of the work and his people were very friendly as well. The remodeling project finished much sooner than we imagined they will and we were fascinated by the completed work. The attention to all the details was lot more than we expected. The remodeling work that they did was with high quality and everything looks perfect. Working with them was a truly joy and easy experience and we will contract them for any of our future remodeling.

American home improvement have completed for us a large scale remodeling project for us recently. The remodeling project was to replace our existing kitchen with a new and upgrade one including all the appliances and the remodeling of our master bathroom. The project was finished on time and in a high quality and perfection. Sam (our project manager) made sure that the budget will remain the same and the time frame of the work will be according to the original plan that was agreed when we signed the contract with him. When we worked on the paperwork, we added an option of Sam and his designing people to redecorate other parts of the house and we set the price for that too. So after we finished with the remodeling, we agreed to go ahead with the option section and to redecorate the other parts of the house and to bring the rest of our house to the same style of the kitchen and bathroom. This part of the remodeling was completed on time and on the same amount that was agreed by us with Sam and a little bit before the schedule that was set by then. Based on our experience with them, we can write here that the team of people that were involved at our house were very easy to work with, highly professional and skilled people and at the company overall aspect, we can say that they were very organized and responsive to any questions, concerns, billing and ideas.

Bill is very active on communication. I can't believe there's only 2 review for him on Angie's list. compare to other contractors who takes on anything. Final touch custom ceilings specialize on ceiling. They know what they are doing. Very satisfied with the work, and quality of it. Highly recommend.

Tony and his crew did excellent work. Tony contacted me right away and arranged a time for an estimate. He was very busy at the time but told me when he would be able to begin and was very up front about costs and time estimates. The work was completed in the amount of time that he promised. I especially liked that Tony was very good at communicating via email and phone and returned calls as soon as he could when I had a question. The patio cover is beautiful. Thanks Tony.

So, I just got two big tuff sheds installed in my back yard.  10x28 each.  One shed will be storage, one shed will be home office.  Eric and his crew came in and installed the insulation (I supplied them with Roxul rock wool insulation) and drywall on the office.  They did an excellent job!   His work exceeded my expectations!  Installed the insulation, drywall, tape, mud, and textured the entire room in about two days.
Good price, on time, excellent work, what more can you ask for?
I plan on insulating and dry walling the storage side shortly, and probably my garage too!   Will definitely call Eric when I am ready to move forward!

Everything went well.  All was done in time as previously agreed on.  BJ was very professional, courteous and helpful.   I'm very much satisfied with his workmanship and definitely I like the new "look" my den has.  Thank you BJ and definitely I recommend him to anyone!

First, they installed LED recessed lights and added a line for washer/dryer. They also replaced the existing (old and worn) outlets and switches. This work was done quickly and competently.

Next, they removed the old popcorn ceiling. Then they removed some old wallpaper. The wallpaper was old and this took a while, but the work was done well. After that they touched up the walls and ceiling. This is the messy part of the work - they applied plastic cover on floors everywhere so nothing remained after they were done but the work is by nature messy while it's going on. (Tip: Buy shoe covers if you plan to enter the house during this work - the stuff really sticks to your shoes.)

Finally, all interior rooms were painted and it looks very nice now.

We are very happy with the work performed and would use them again without hesitation.

We would not recommend this unprofessional, inexperienced, not knowledgeable, and unreasonable general contractor who was
not easy to work with. He did not fulfill his commitments, was not on time, and did not show up for one of the
inspections. He did not respect our privacy when he walked in the house without prior notice. Even in the rough stages, the workmanship was shoddy.
Displaying poor customer service and unwilling to communicate and accommodate, he tried to order us around even though he worked for us. At no time, did we interfere with the work. The work was stopped after five days due to concerns. Instead of stopping by, the general contractor insisted we stop by his office.
The work is currently half done and after three months, a crack exists in the floated cement in our bathroom that
is still not functional. We need to find another person to finish and/or redo the general contractors substandard work.
The moentrol valve was installed but the trim, tub spout, and other related accessories with the valve were never
provided even though we paid him $5,000 thus far. He did not refund the amount for the tiles and cabinet either. We requested a refund of the exhaust fan, the LED lights, the tiles and the cabinet, but he told us to return the LED lights without having his receipt. He never refunded the amount or faxed the invoice for the tiles and cabinet because the items were never purchased.
Basically, his two employees worked (one is not fluent in English) unsupervised. They covered up our wooden floors with rags leaving marks on the floor which they did not bother cleaning the marks. He insisted on installing the Broan bathroom exhaust fan which was noisy. He failed to ascertain whether the duct was installed properly and determine where the moisture is being diverted to by the exhaust fan. They installed two old switches but failed to align them. There were misaligned screws in the drywall and holes in the floated cement wall. The diamond lath is exposed and not covered in two spots. The general contractor knew that the floated cement wall is an overkilland quot; as the opposite side of the wall shows a protrusion from the bathroom. He needed to inspect the mudding on the hole behind the bathtub. The bathroom drywall is not prepared for any type of finish. He needed to ascertain whether the cement is flush with the door jamb. The rough end pipe of shower head needs to be straightened. The mudding tape needed to be finished over many of the screws. One of the LED lights he bought to be placed above the bathtub is not the appropriate type to protect the light from moisture. It is unsure whether the correct barrier was installed behind the cemented float to protect from moisture.

The project went good, the remodel was done according to the time frame given.  Any issues that came up Paul and his project manager Steve dealt with promptly and professionally.  Employees started everyday on time and everybody worked very hard.  The job site was always clean.  Would use again on the next project.

I spoke with Matt about my acoustic ceiling removal.  Although I caught
him while he was traveling, he was very responsive and attentive.  He
knew I wanted to get it done ASAP and had sent out one of his guys to
give me a quick estimate that Saturday (while he was out).  I called him
on Monday and confirmed I wanted to get it done.  His team got to work
on Tuesday morning (7:30am) and was done by Wednesday (3pm).
though his business is based out of the Valley/Oxnard and I live in the
SG Valley he was quick to the job and got it done flawlessly.  He
quoted me a fair, competitive price on the acoustic removal and he also
removed some wallpaper from the wall for me.  They also have this
special texture for the ceilings that my fiance really liked.  I've been
told by most contractors that if I want the ceilings completely smooth
it will cost me substantially more.  Matt has a guy on his team that
does this hand texture, which is the closest I've seen to smooth yet
still considered textured.  Overall, the ceilings look great and I'm
    happy with it.
I would work with Matt again.
