    I joined Angie's List to get guidance on a number of potential services. Adding a tv to a wall and connecting cable was one. I read the reviews and chose this organization. Kevin was prompt, professional, gave excellent explanations, asked my advise and included my wishes in the final installation. We were so comfortable with him we showed him our brainstorming for future work in the house. He looked in the crawl space, made suggestions and gave us an estimate. We are calling him back for a second job. Responsible young man - someone you can trust.

    Serviceman came the next day at appointed time with a new cable box. I was happy. He took an old box from my bedroom, put one from the LR into my bedroom because it had several shows I'd been saving and put the new box in the LR. He gave me advice on how to use the remote more effectivetly. He was very pleasant and efficient. All in all, a positive experience.

    Walked through it with the Charter voicemail and it actually helped me fix it.  Usually, I just keep hitting O or whatever to get a human being.  Turned out to be a not so obvious cable problem.  Still prefer to talk to a human, but I have to admit the automated troubleshooter was smarter than me on this one. Now can I have my Starbuck's card?

    I like them fine. They are responsive and will come out. They somehow understand that I can't really crawl around behind the TV looking for serial numbers and figuring out if slot A goes into part B. So they will come out. They are kind of the king of the hill around here and I have not tried anybody else. They have very good quality and lots of services. I called them one day and someone was here the next morning. They say they are going to be here and they are here. Their punctuality is very good.

    After my husband contacted the company on line, they shipped the box and my husband installed it. Installation instructions were spotty, but the equipment was installed successfully. It was frustrating that a phone call was necessary to begin service after contact was made online. My husband never found out how much this mandatory box is going to cost after the free 12-month period is complete. My husband said the cost was not apparent online and cost did not come up when he called to begin service.

    I inherited Charter cable tv, so it was already installed.  I used it for about 5 years. It was ok, but it became less of a value over time. Equipment was old, company made no effort to update (no DVR); unless, of course, you wanted to pay more.  Over years I kept reducing equipment and services to keep price down; and over years they kept taking away channels in package I had.  I could get channels back; but, of course, I had to pay more.  I recently took advantage of Direct TV promotion, I now have DVR service on all tv's, HD at no extra cost, more channels, and for $2 less a month. Of course, Direct TV will cost more after 12 months, but it will still be a better value than Charter.

    I have been with the company for a year and a half. I always pay my bill on time by direct pay. After one year of service my bill went up $30.00 per month. I called and asked why and they stated that my year was up with the special package. I asked about the new package deal they had going and they stated that was for new customers only. I asked if I dropped the service and reinstalled if I could get the package and they said no, that it was only for new customer.  I then went on to state that you mean after one year of using your service and paying on time you won't give me the same deal as you do your new customers and that there are no rewards for being a good customer and they said again the package deals are for new customers only and that next year my bill would go up even more. This is very unprofessional service in my opinion and I wish there were other cable companies to pick from but it seems that the cable companies have a monoply in the area they service so there really isn't a choice. Shame on you Charter for not rewarding you loyal customers!

    A very nice contract installer came by and connected a modem and my WiFi to Comcast cable. He found the wires and then tested everything before he left. Now I get calls at all times of the day from Comcast. They are trying to get me to upgrade my service. I asked them not to call. My internet service has not been as fast as tested after installation.
