    Thank you to America's Dream Homeworks for truly making our "fixer-upper" house our forever dream home! The work that ADH did on our house was nothing short of a miracle in my eyes. We purchased a run down fixer-upper 4 years ago with plans of making it beautiful because, as they say, "Location. Location. Location". I had a vision in my head of what I wanted and ADH completely made that vision a reality. The crew was PHENOMENAL. I have heard horror stories of some contractors going M.I.A. midway through a project. Vasyl and his crew drove every day from Sacramento to Marin to work on our house (at least a 90 minute drive one-way) for almost 5 months! Their work ethic is amazing. Their attention to detail is incredible. When they started tearing apart our house they found so much water damage and termite damage and years and years of neglect from the previous owners that they basically had to reframe most of it. They even found a previous addition had not even been properly "connected" to the original house! But nothing phased them and they never made us feel like fixing our house was insurmountable. The tile work and the molding detail is beautiful. I cannot recommend Vasyl and his crew more for their impeccable work. They are amazing. You will not be disappointed. The ONLY issue we had was when they did find all the damage and reframing that needed to be done, the additional cost was not communicated to us up front. I definitely would have appreciated being kept in the loop about this because unfortunately, when we originally met with Mark (owner), he had specifically said that they were not like other contractors that come back to you asking for more money half-way through the project. So I had that in my head and was thinking this up until they dropped another bill on us. That would not deter me from using ADH again, however, because I used to LOATHE our fixer-upper and now I LOVE my dream home. Megan PS...The reason I give "Responsiveness" a B is because I had to contact them multiple times prior to get the initial bid. Also, one of my husband's coworkers was also trying to contact them recently to come out for a bid and never received a response after multiple attempts.

    Showed up on time, answered all of our questions and took care of a minor problem right away. Both owners came over to check on their workers each day. London Tile is not cheap, but you get what you paid for, which is a high quality job.

    So far, they've done the shower. The guy is fabulous. He's newer to the company, but he has done everything right. He's very detail oriented. The price is just for labor and the setting materials. I purchased the tile myself.

    This was a very good experience, and as my first major renovation, that was extremely welcome.
    Personal examples of contractor's professionalism and integrity included that he and his crew showed respect for the customers, were courteous, responsive, and completely trustworthy--I could trust them to work on the house while I was on the other side of the country and unable to directly inspect the on-going work, and was never surprised or disheartened at finding anything amiss when I would return from out of town three weeks later.
    Anything that required post-construction tweaking was handled quickly and cheerfully (including humidity-and-temperature-related wood swelling that's not anyone's fault), and he responded unusually well to smaller and quot;while you're here could you look at this too?and quot; requests--e.g., installing curtain rods and curtains for the woman of the house, and taking in UPS packages that arrived during inclement weather.
    Overall, I would recommend him to anyone in the NY Tri-State area, for remodeling and renovation on jobs ranging from small to large.

    They did a great job. Go to their website - their pictures are amazing. That is the best way to get a sense of them. They did excellent work and they were easy to work with,. It is a small company and the owner does the work. He knows how to work with difficult tiles.

    GROUT WIZARD
    When I called to schedule the work, the owner couldnt find the estimate he had done for me and I had to fax him my copy. I told him I wanted to change some of the caulking colors he had selected. This was to be a 1 day job. Two guys showed up day 1- leader was unprepared for some of job, knew nothing about removing vanity and counter, didnt have all equipment/tools he needed and I found it difficult communicating with him, but thought he understood caulk color changes etc. In removing vanity they ripped one entire tile off wall plus parts and faces of other tiles- they did find one tile to replace, didnt do anything about the rest. My contractor later managed to hide most but not all damage. Tile men back 2nd day to "finish" job - again unprepared with tiling supplies, etc. to replace tile, fortunately I had grout, etc. and I finished job after they left. I found a lot of unfilled holes in wall tiling and caulked myself. Also the caulking colors werent right and I was unhappy about that. Owner called few days later to ask if I wanted him to start the job and I had to remind him that they had just "done the job" but was glad he called because I was unhappy caulk colors had not been changed as I had requested in some places. He said they would redo it for $100 more. I paid rather than argue. 3rd visit: New guys did bad job-very bumpy, sloppy caulking, also changed color in one place I said not to. 4th visit: a new guy came to fix bad caulking which he agreed looked bad and we also found unfilled holes along rim of tub on one end plus, & most distressing, previous guys had gouged scratches into a corner of the porcelain tub. Probably knife slips I was told. Owner not very accommodating or pleasant at this point when I called about all this - said something to effect I shouldnt look so closely at the work as I would be bound to find problems (!!?), and there was nothing he could do about it. Fellow working here couldnt get the caulk to work properly -- left a sunken spot right at front of tub but said hed be back next day between 3:30 and 4:30. I waited for him and have never heard another word. I dont have the energy to continue trying to get job done or have a confrontation with the owner. I was prepared to overlook a lot if hed only been responsive, but have waited a week for him to get back to me and schedule finishing the job. I also think he should at very least refund the extra $100 he charged me considering the damage they did. Unsure what to do next but I would absolutely NOT recommend these people who own the Marin County franchise -- business certainly appears to be poorly run and operated. I also think I may have been overcharged since Ive talked to other people who do this kind of work who would have charged about half the price. I am really angry and just plain disappointed and have been left not being able to appreciate what little they did do right.
