  • They do my routine maintenance as well. So I go to them for oil changes as well, but once all my car get off from warranty, I will go for fluid changes, radiator flush, transmission flush, that kind of stuff.

    They're very competitive on price.

  • I have been going there with Chryslers and whatnot for about 23 years.  They do other things too, such as set my radio if I can't do it. For that kind of work I can just pop in there. I have a service warranty with them. I paid for it upfront. John Avida is who I go to. I have dealt with them for 23 years and they do their own rating system. Their price is right there with all the rest. I have bought four new cars from them.

  • Honest autoshop that has reasonable prices. Brought my car because the dealership where I got my oil changed said the front brakes needed to be replaced. Jesse's crew confirmed that the front brakes were low and recommended the pads be changed, but said the rotors were fine and did not need to be serviced. Left the car there for 2 hours, and the out the door cost was $150, which is less than the dealership and half the cost of a highly rated (on Angie's list) autoshop that's closer to me. I'm willing to travel to see Jesse because of these things. My brakes no longer squeak and I trust the quality of work to be good.

  • Noted a squeaking sound when braking.  Brought our car to ASR based on the reviews we saw.  They stated the front brakes needed to be replaced and that the back brakes were fine but should be "cleaned and adjusted."  The quote price wasn't the lowest I've seen, but we went ahead.  Quality of work seems good - no more squeaking and the car brakes well.  A free car wash is included.

  • I ended my last review on ASR by saying, "Finding a good, trustworthy mechanic is difficult." And at that point I was not happy with the service they provided. In a nutshell, I wasn't sure that the work they had done was necessary, especially since the original cause for my going to them was an ABS light that came and went intermittently. I spent quite a bit of money, and it still wasn't fixed.

They took the initiative to fix it, asking if I'd bring it back in and allow them to look further. The mechanic tried all manner of methods to track the culprit, and in fact had the car for over two days. I know they spent most of that time searching for the problem and testing solutions. They also offered me a loaner since it was taking so long. Eventually they found a damaged connector that occasionally jiggled loose. They fixed that and that appears to have been the problem.

I have to give them credit for living up to their motto of "we fix it right." They did for me.

And even though they knew I wasn't happy with the initial results, they always acted professionally and courteously. I appreciate the effort they put into fixing my car. If you're looking for trustworthy mechanic, try ASR.

  • After moving to the area, I decided to have Folsom Lake Ford service my vehicle. A simple tire rotation, oil change, smog and A/C diagnostic. I was promised the work would be complete by days end. The service advisor, Tom Chase, was extremely first. My shuttle ride home was quite lackluster after listening to the shuttle driver, take two telephone calls, not hands free (can you say LIABILITY) to a salesman and discussing a clients income for a lead he had. Fast forward a bit. I received an afternoon phone call about a quarter to 4. Tom told me the identified issues with the A/C and that the job would run about $800 and that I could pick up my vehicle tomorrow. The money wasn't the problem, it was the fact I needed the vehicle the next day. After telling Tom I would pass on the repair, his demeanor absolutely changed from helpful to downright rude. I asked Tom if the smog had been done so I could pick up the vehicle at which time he told me it hadn't and since it was so close to 4, he didn't think it was possible. I reminded Tom that I had made an appointment for the work and asked if it could be done today. Tom interrupted me and said "I don't know everything". Way to be professional Tom. It was quite obvious that since I was not having the $800 service done, he really could care less about the inconvenience to me. I immediately called back and spoke with the service manager, Bob Taylor. Bob seemed very receptive and told me the smog would be done. After speaking with Bob, I received a voicemail from Tom telling me the same and promising to call me when it was done. So the entire evening, I had my ride on standby for a call from Tom.  You guessed it sports fans, the call that never was made. So I took my chance and picked up the vehicle just before the service department closed at 7. With the paperwork, the smog certificate showing it had been completed at 4:06. Thanks again Tom. Would have appreciated the call as promised when the vehicle was done...nearly three hours earlier. A voicemail to the service manager Bob, left that same day in early September, indicating that I would not be returning due to Tom Chase has yet to be responded to. Too bad customers take such a priority. Its also interesting to note that other dealerships make several follow up calls to ensure the customer was satisfied with the service........except Folsom Lake Ford.

  • They're extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional.  I've been going there for over 15 years.  He's in demand, and it's hard to get an appointment with him.  He is very popular.

  • I was taken there by the AAA tow driver who recommended Franklin's. Although I has to wait awhile they were able to provide the service that day. I cannot really remember the date or the cost.

  • They are excellent and very professional!  They are expensive however.  They do an outstanding job.  If you are concerned about quality of work, that's where you would go.  They are extremely professional!  Their cost is a little bit high, but it's worth it.

  • Hi Tech Collision Center are the nicest people you could ever want to meet. Patrick will send his wife to bring you home if you are close enough. They'll pick up your car and drive your car in to get it fixed or seen or whatever. They throw in stuff - Oh, you needed that so we got it done anyway. They are very down to earth and I didn't feel like somebody was trying to rake me over the coals on the price. I'm talking about a '98 Jaguar. They come back and get you, too. They wash your car - I've got free detailing for life!
