    In Bloom Landscaping
In Bloom Landscaping keeps my front and back yard in beautiful condition year around. My lawn and plant beds are perfectly maintained. Because special care is given to my well established pants they grow sting and healthy and do well with the occasional fertilizing. When I call them, they answer. When I ask questions, they are answered. When I have an concerns, they are addressed. This is truly a professional company that cares for their customers. My front yard is clearly the stand out of the neighborhood thanks to In Bloom Landscaping.

So far so good. They come every Friday. The two side yards are cleaner than I can do them. Thy have machinery that can do the cleaning, and blowing. He has all the new tech stuff with low noise. Its better for the air. They aren't green, but low noise. Its pretty high for their usual. I have been going with this landscaper a pretty long time. I go with the once every six month with Casilla landscaping, but it too hard. Its too far apart. Six months turns into nine months. I mow the lawn, and got minimal leaves and weeds out. They come in and at six months they want some actions. They put bushes here, and all. They want some action. I stopped doing that. It was costly every six months in my opinion.

    Rons Hauling & Clean-Up & Tree Services
No work was done, and will not be done. It took them nearly two months to get in contact with me in the first place, and that was only after I messaged them with a reminder that I had scheduled through this service. I was called back twice to confirm a Wednesday appointment between 8 and 10am, and was under the impression that since this coupon's details stated that it was "$252.00 for four labor-hours of yard clean-up (one worker for four hours or two workers for two hours each, at service provider's discretion)" that the 8-10am quote that was given to me was the actual two hours of yard clean up. It was not mentioned or phrased to me that "this is a window of time when someone will be showing up to begin work", it was phrased that my appointment for this service was from between 8 and 10am. I called around 8:30 to confirm that someone was supposed to be there, and was met not only with the man on the other end confirming that the appointment was from between 8 and 10am, but that it was only 8:30 and "the time we gave you was between 8 and 10." I said "Yes, so doesn't that mean someone be here by now?" and was told, not that "This was actually a window of time for someone to show up" but that, again, it was 8:30, and the appointment was for 8-10. This does not make sense. Either it's a window of time you'll be showing up between and you tell me so, or this is actually the time you're doing to work. He refused to confirm that this was a window of time, not the actual time of service itself. He said that their current ETA was around 9. After I reiterated my non-addressed concern again, as I had to get ready for work, he had the audacity to insultingly ask if I was listening to him, and talked over me. Then he said the ETA was now between 9 and 9:30. There was no offer of possible rescheduling, and he did nothing to address concerns over the misinformation/misinterpretation of time given. He was rude and aggressive, and when I told him I no longer wanted the work done, I was told "Fine. Have a nice day." There is no way I'd ever recommend a company like this to anyone. Your company provides a service with clear, punctual communication, and I pay you for that service. This is your job. The lack of communication with this company, coupled with the shoddy, customer-blaming attitude when it came to addressing concerns was astounding. I've never dealt with a contractor so rude, and I've dealt with a great many of them. Money was paid, but no services were performed. Don't use this company. There are plenty of other hauling, clean-up, and tree service companies in the Valley.

    D C Gardening Service
Called them for yard service and maintenance. He came (the owner ) and wanted $600.00 a month for service where I am paying $150.00 now and the most expensive price i got was $225.00 per month for service. Sorry TOO expensive.

    Jesus Lopez Landscape Service
He is great. Him and a couple of guys come out. They're all nice. They don't interrupt you. They only knock on the door when they want to get in the gate. What stands out most about their work is that they actually show up when they say they're going to show up. I would tell a friend that they're good. I would recommend them. I think the price is really reasonable.

    Jr`s Landscape
This project turned out GREAT!!  The best thing is they were able to closely color match the new concrete pad to the existing...sort of a faded pink.  I don't know if this was just luck, or done on purpose....but it looks fantastic! They also constructed a pre-purchased gazebo & help me place it over the spa area.  The bench seat turned out very nice too.  They came up with an idea to use the trim from the granite counter top(that I used as the topper for the bench seat), as a trim piece under the seat & it looks great! They cleaned up after the job each day & then when they were done they took the time to sweep up, the entire area & remove any excess concrete bits from a nearby planter that they helped with. EACH day, Juan would call & check on the progress, as well as if I was pleased with the results!!  He is VERY interested in your satisfaction with how the job is progressing, & the results.  They gave me a terrific bid (not the very lowest...but #3 out of 5 bids) & stuck to the original price bid. Most of all, Juan was very interested in customer satisfaction & they were hard, honest, efficient workers that cleaned up & took care not to damage anything.  I would hire them again for any landscape project.   Wish I could add pictures!

    Turf Terminators
Turf Terminators apparently has changed their payment policy. You cannot pay cash, you cannot let them take the DWP rebate; they are now requiring that everyone get financed by their lender, apply for the rebate themselves, and then you can pay off the loan without a prepayment penalty. I also asked for the addresses of some homes they have done, and they gave me the run-around about privacy issues and finally said no.  I just wanted to drive by and look (I ultimately found a number of them on my own)...  Just yesterday, they were trying to get us to take out a loan for the landscaping redo without us even knowing if we qualified for the LADWP rebate...

Hard sell without getting call backs when you have problems or questions is not a service
centered business.  Check the comments here and on other services before signing up with them.

They seemed like a reasonable operation initially, but I have increasingly serious doubts about them as more and more revelations come to light. I think there are now better alternatives than TT, with much more attractive landscaping options, and I would urge caution with them.  We elected to pass on their services and go in a different direction...

    Elias Garden Service
Elias was amazing at first, then he continued to do a poorer and poorer job but when reminded he would usually regain his work ethic. However, he disappeared. I mean, weeks went by and he never showed up. I called and he didn't pick up but I did send a check for the two weeks he had worked on our yard before disappearing and that was quickly cashed. Not sure what happened but the way he exited certainly wasn't professional which is a shame because I liked him.

    Gersain Gonzales Landscaping
I found Gersain via Angie's List and based on his glowing reviews I was happy to have found him, unfortunately, in my case, he did not meet my expectations. We had had an excellent gardener for several years so maybe I'm spoiled but I was very specific with Gersain about what I wanted done - all beds weeded, shrubs trimmed, soil tilled, any debris or droppings picked up, flowers deadheaded and of course the lawn mowed and edged. Unfortunately it was as if I explained all of that and it was instantly forgotten. Most of the time his crew were here and gone (2 guys) within 30 minutes. It was just the most small fraction of a step up from mow and blow. However, I did like Gersain so I called him several times to explain things weren't being done (for instance they allowed a shrub to grow over several sprinklers and their solution was to charge me to add risers to the sprinklers rather than trim openings out for the sprinklers as have been done for over a decade), I would say, the weeding was not happening and he would say they didn't know what I meant by a weed (trust me, this was not a mystery). I gave them one more shot yesterday and they did do a slightly better job but still left tons of dead flowers on the plants around the yard, since taking over the yard they never once trimmed a bush or cleaned dead stalks off of our papyrus, it was just not a good service.
