    Clark Drywall Inc.
Matt and his team are some of the most professional people i met. Matt's estimate of the work to be done was very reasonable and beat all of the local competitors. His team started on time, every day, kept my home clean and completed the job on time and budget. If you need drywall done in the Santa Barbara area, dont waste your time with the locals who will overcharge you and underperform. Trust in Matt, i did, and i was not dissapointed.

    Painter1 of Utah County
I wasn't overly impressed. It took them a long time. It was supposed to be a three-day work and it ended up being seven days. It was just a hassle. They were average in price. The owners were very nice and very professional. The workers were good. It was hard to get them staying on the job and getting it done.

I was very impressed. They were fair and fast. They're professional. The quality was very good. Their responsiveness was very good. One of the things they said they would do but never did it was the person in charge of the job never came over to check the final quality. It never happened. It would have been nice if they did that.

My experience with them was excellent.  Everything was done courteously, promptly and it was done well.  The guy did an excellent job.  The owner was very courteous and professional.  Everything was excellent.

    Dennis M Clancy Restorations
He came and gave me an estimate on several antique pieces that I recently inherited. He gave me a very reasonable estimate and did a great job on the first set of thongs. I have more antiques coming that will need quality restoring and I have confidence that Dennis will retire things without causing loss of value.

    Frazee Paint
We have a three-bedroom, two-bath house and decided to have the exterior painted. We went to Frazee Paint and found the colors we wanted and learned that they provide free assistance through Juan Figueroa, their customer sales representative. We were not aware that such a service was available and it may be available from other paint stores as well. We worked with Juan to develop a specification for painting the exterior of our house, including quality of paint and especially details for preparation, which is the bulk of the work. Juan gave us a list of four painters who would do an excellent job and were licensed and insured. This is important because any on-the-job mishap could be a liability for the home owner. Juan assured us that the painters are accustomed to giving bids, so we should not worry about the ones not selected. Also, we could obtain other bids on our own if we desired. We called the recommended painters and received the bids. In the meantime two painters who painted a house down the street from us also gave us a bid—a very low bid! Their bid was $2800, but no license or insurance was provided. The highest bid of the other four was $9,500! Juan warned us that the lowest bid is not always the one to take, particularly if no license or insurance is provided. Juan explained how a painter could cut corners and not provide a satisfactory paint job, particularly in the preparation. After evaluating the bids with Juan, we took one of the bids for $4500. Because of some personal problems this painter was not able to perform. We called Juan and he quickly got a replacement for the same price that would follow the specifications and begin immediately. From the time we selected the paint to the completion of the job, we spoke 8 or 10 times with Juan and each time he gave us excellent attention and advice. We always felt that Juan was eager to serve us, and he actually visited our house twice during the time it was being painted. We recommend that others work with Juan Figueroa at Frazee Paint or a sales rep from another paint store if they provide the same excellent service. This special customer service was an excellent help for us.

    ADC Finishes, Inc.
We couldn't be happier with the paint job. End cost was on par with the estimate, with only a token amount added for termite treatment with our approval. Mark Danis and his team were very professional throughout, and the process went quickly and very smoothly. The project manager, Taylor, was very courteous and consulted with us daily about various repairs and kept us well informed about what to expect each day.  The team members were very professional and detail oriented, even repairing flaws in the stucco and eaves that had been painted over in the past. They did a great job cleaning up after the job as well, including paint flakes and such. We appreciate the professional quality of the work, and the great communication with the project manager made the entire process go smoothly and stress free. We would highly recommend Danis Painting.

I decieded not to go with them, as i got a bid that was much less., although the other bid, did not include all the work they would have done to restore back to orginail condition, like repairing and painting and carpet replacement.

    cobb construction
We have used Cobb construction before and gave Russ Cobb,

the owner and licensed contractor, an excellent rating, strongly recommending

him because of his prior work on our house.

We hired Russ Cobb again for a long list of needed work on

our house, which included restoration of a soft water unit shed and a larger

shed in our back yard. In addition, there was a long list of small jobs, such

as replacing a termite damaged board and filling in two other small holes from

termite damage which had been previously inspected and fumigated. No job was

too small for Russ Cobb, who did the wok along with a very competent worker who

did some of the work and then joined Russ Cobb on jobs requiring two men. In

addition, another excellent worker was brought in as needed.

Because Russ Cobb has years of experience in home building

and remodeling, he is very knowledgeable about the various components of the

house and how everything fits together.

He is both reasonable in what he charges and excellent to

work with. Before proceeding with certain projects, he explains what he is

going to do, e.g., installing a threshold and weather stripping our front door,

    and gets our okay.

We highly recommend Russ Cobb (Cobb Construction) as an excellent,

economical, and personable individual to hire for small or large jobs, such as

    house remodels.

    Blake Fuentes Painting, Inc.
Blake was very punctual, very efficient, and very professional. He was also significantly less expensive than the two other quotes we got. He and his two assistants got the job done in the amount of time they quoted (one week).  They supplied the paint after we told them which colors to use.  When we weren't sure about one color, he did a test swatch so we could see if it was what we wanted.
The walls and ceilings look great. The reason I'm giving him a B overall is because there were a few paint drips on the mirrors in the bathrooms, some on the floor, and one on the carpet; also, some caulking wasn't done.  Blake cleaned this all up and finished the caulking, but I had to point it out to him.
I would recommend him, and would use him again.
