    IND Construction Inc
David and Ben transformed our early 1990's country kitchen into a beautiful and contemporary, yet warm, gathering place for our family. I pinch myself every morning when I walk into our beautiful kitchen to make my coffee. Their crew's workmanship is impeccable and top notch. David and Ben were so easy to deal with. The one word that best describes them is "mensch." Both men are fair, transparent, and decent. I would highly recommend IND Construction.

    Mark C Petersen Residential Remodeling
Mark & Rob did an excellent job gutting and then remodeling my bathroom. This was a total make over of my bathroom plus adding a shower over the bathtub. I couldn't have asked for a better crew to work in my home. Mark & Rob handled plumbing, electrical, mechanical, painting, drywall with Frank doing the tile and Jose handling the new quartz counter tops. All of this was supervised by Mark, who was always on time and was there every day he was supposed to be. They completed my job in 4 weeks. They cleaned up very well every day. I would definitely recommend Mark Petersen for any remodel you would want to do.

    Horizon Construction & Remodeling Inc
You can feel comfortable hiring Horizon Construction and Remodeling for your next house project! I had to do lots of repair and maintenance on my Queen Anne Victorian home and Project Manager Mike and the folks at Horizon came through with flying colors. I replaced the roof, cleaned and re-insulated the attic, added new floors upstairs, upgraded some electrical, repaired plater ceilings and painted the exterior with a three color "Painted Lady" look for the house. All the sub-contractors were polite, fine craftsmen and always on time. Mike was great communicating with me at all times. This situation has not always been true for contractors I've interviewed to work on my house. Usually, they come to the house, say they will give me an estimate, and never call back. Horizon and their team did high quality work on a difficult older home.

    JVP Construction Inc
We have been in search of a home improvement company that can remodel our kitchen and bathroom for a while. We met with several contractors through some friends but werent happy with the overall pricing or people themselves. We met with JVP construction after one of our friends recommended them to us. Shawn was very nice over the phone when spoke and we decided to schedule a meeting at our house and Shawn arrived the following day. The meeting went great, Shawn answered all of our questions and presented to us a large amount of pictures of jobs that he did recently. His estimate was reasonable so we signed the contract and moved forward with him. Few weeks later, after analyzing several design options and selecting all the finishing materials we were ready to start the work. We never came across anyone that handled anything the way JVP construction did. From the beginning, Shawn was on top of all the plans, blueprints, city and the project itself. The workers were unbelievable and super nice. At the end of the remodeling, the kitchen and bathroom came out wonderful and on time. We are happy and we will recommend them to others.

    Pure Home Remodeling
We hired Adi for a large scale remodeling project for our house. The remodeling included the following: removing a wall that divided the kitchen from the living room, remodel the kitchen and remodel 2 bathrooms. During the whole remodeling project, Adi was very honest with us and he kept us up each day with the progress and if there are any issues or problems that happened that day. More than that, he provided us with few solutions for the problems that came up BUT he left the decision making to us without trying to do the easy and fast solutions. The office staff was very detailed and respectful as well. At the end of the work, Adi delivered the remodeling project not before we were very satisfied and happy with the final results. We will highly recommend Adi and Pure home remodeling while we will hire them again for any future work we may have.

    Mark C Petersen Residential Remodeling
The remodel of our bathroom and fireplace went smoothly. We initially met Mark through our neighbor and we were quite impressed with the extensive remodel he did for them. Their home came out beautiful and so did ours. I was especially impressed by his attention to detail and his reliability. He was at my home everyday on time at 7am to start the job and made sure that the area he was working on was left clean and tidy. I can't imagine having to use any other contractor for our upcoming home renovations. Honest, reliable and experienced.

    Advanced Remodeling & Construction
Advanced remodeling & construction just finished my large kitchen remodeling project which started as a complete demolition first and then to rebuild it. With the work that they just did I truly can write here that I could not be more happy, satisfied and lucky by having them to do the work at my house. Advanced remodeling & construction were so devoted to the work and they gave so much attention to all the details of it so It will end up in a results that are no less than perfect project! This included all the working crew, sub-contractors and the office staff. Throughout this remodeling project, I was given with so many great advises and ideas which were an exact fit to the project and to what I have been searching for. They went the extra mile for me on several things that came up during the work and for that, I do thank them. I will definitely hire them again for future projects.

    Repipe Specialists Inc
This happened on a holiday weekend. Called all my local plumbing companies especially those that advertised 24/7 emergency service. Everyone was a disappointment. To those that responded on that Tuesday everyone was giving me crazy ideas about how to fix the slab leak or was giving me a month availability. I was able to contact Repipe Specialist that Sunday when I found them online. They were able to do it the next Friday. The sales person was extremely knowledgeable and educated me on all there is to know about water pipes and plumbing in a home. I was guided to choose the best choice for my situation and made me realize that this company was really an expert in the job at hand. The repipe with pex pipping was done in a day! The crew came at 8 am sharp and finished by 3pm. There was a lot of support. From the office to the shop to the setting up of city inspection to the final patching up of all the walls and stucco. Follow up on all the finishing touches was flawless. Responsive and properly done. Greatest experience. I totally recommend this company.

    Mark C Petersen Residential Remodeling
Interviewing contractors can be a headache. Its tedious. You're never sure who to trust. Online reviews are scarce and questionable. My wife and I invited 4 different contractors to the house, 2 didn't pass the initial sniff test. If your gut feeling is telling you something isn't right, its probably not. Mark, Scott, and his brother came t our house several times to discuss different option, quality and design of cabinets, and a general plan. We discussed timeframe and expectations. Mark assured me several times that there wouldn't be any "hidden fees" or "surprises" that required a price change mid-job. All of those TV shows routinely show problems that come up once you tear a wall down.... I wanted to make sure any random discoveries were included in the price and not something we would have to renegotiate along the way. *****BIG RED FLAG******* Most contractors will tell you "we've been doing this for 30 years." You can easily check on that by doing a quick google search of their contractor license number. I believe Mark has a 500,000'ish number, which was issued in the early 1980's. If someone tells you they've been doing it for 25 years and has a license number in the 900,000s, be leary. The story doesn't add up. In those search results, you'll see who his insurance company is and weather he is bonded or not. Then you can call that insurance company and check on claims against whichever contractor you're looking into. In other words, DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Make sure the information people present you actually checks out. I will definitely say that we had cheaper bids. But those bids came with sketchy information and references that didn't check out. Do you want someone who is license, bonded, insured? Mark Peterson and his small crew have been working together for years. Once we made some minor modifications to the work contract to fit our budget, we set a date for work to begin. They asked us how early in the morning they could show up to begin work. We said, "7am." They were parked in front of our house every workday by 6:50am. That meant a lot to us. You hear horror stories about crews not showing up.... Mark and the guys ALWAYS showed up exactly when they said they would. The quality of work was excellent. The communication between us and them was always clear. After a few days of becoming "comfortable" with them, we gave them a door code so that we didn't have to let them in everyday. As with every major remodel, the timeframe had a few hangups. That was time spent waiting for inspections by the city, not delays caused by Mark. Certain work had to "set" or dry before they could move on to the next step, etc.... I'm sure Mark and Scott can do some design work but in our case, my wife simply handed them a picture from a magazine and said, "make it look like that." My wife and I aren't design people. Mark brought stone samples, stain samples, and paint samples over to help us decide on the detailed stuff. I really don't have enough good things to say. You'll find cheaper prices elsewhere but ask yourself "why?" Lots of times you'll receive bids from unlicensed, uninsured, and crews with marginal experience or hidden fees. Mark Peterson is a one-stop-shop for kitchen and bath remodels. Licensed and insured. Proper permits and followup inspections. We didn't find any hidden fees. The workmanship was very nice. We felt very comfortable with them in our home. I would recommend Mark to those who want quality work done. We didn't have to deal with or setup and sub-contractors or do anything ourselves. The licensed and insured part is a great + and provides huge peace-of-mind too.

    Mark C Petersen Residential Remodeling
Mark and his crew (his brother and a longtime business partner) did a great job and were a pleasure to work with. Very experienced and professional. He quoted a fair price, took care of drawing up basic plans for the city to get the permits, and then they ended up doing multiple little extra tasks that came up throughout the construction process (as things always do) and they did not end up charging me any extra. Being so experienced, I think Mark included these potential "surprises" into the original bid. They showed up on time every day and left the job clean at the end of each day, and the entire job was finished on schedule. I will for sure use them again when we remodel our bathroom and will be recommending them to my friends and family that need to do remodeling.
