    Hard Hat Rooter
I had originally called California Green Plumbing who said they would come out, but Eduardo from Hard Hat Rooter (HHR) showed up. He explained that the other company was unavailable and had called them. Despite that, I checked their rating here (one F and the rest As) and on Yelp! (lots of good reviews). I got a few quotes. One was lower, but HHR said they would give a competitive bid if I found another lower and they did. The came and did the work, were very polite, explained everything, pointed out things I may not have thought of, and did an excellent job.

    Water Heaters Only, Inc
I called several companies about water heater replacement and the response from this company was the best. One company promised a call back and never got it, another company seemed to be occupied with something else while talking to me, and others just didn't answer. The rep I spoke with on my initial call was polite and was able to get someone out the next day. That was great since we had no hot water! On the following day the service technician called 20 minutes before arrival and arrived on time on the early end of the time frame given. After speaking with the office we agreed on the price and Fabian our technician was able to start the replacement right away! Fabian was great, very professional and polite. He helped me move a shelf that was in way and he put it back for me when the work was complete. Any mess that was made was cleaned up and he hauled away the old one. He explained everything I needed to know about the unit and we were so glad we could finally shower! I would recommend this company and use them again if I needed to!

    affordable water heaters Valencia
The people that work at "Affordable Water Heaters" ARE CROOKS!!! that prey upon the elderly.. My 85 year old father-in-law on Social Security called to say his water heater is leaking- they came out, said it needed to be replaced (8yrs old) that they happened to have one in their truck, and it would ONLY be $2675.00 but they would get a $50.00 senior citizen discount. Well they replaced it in under 2 hours; they didn't charge sales tax; didn't give an itemized bill, didn't detail ANY of the cost break down. When I called to suggest that $2625 for a water heater was well over $1000 more than the job was worth they laughed. When I suggested they were taking advantage of someone 85 years old and unable to actually pay $2,625- they said he signed a contract. When I suggested I would write this up on Yelp, they said "we don't bother to police Yelp comments." The water heater they installed is list priced at $1100, is available for $650, and less than 2 hours of labor shouldn't be $750/hour. I could have replaced it for $500.00 in one hour plus pick up time of another hour. So if you like CROOKS, want to be taken advantage of and are Stupid or too old to figure out you are being Robbed- Call "Affordable Water Heaters"

    Fast Water Heater Company
They came and replaced the water heater really fast. All the work was professionally done. But no choice as to brand of hot water heater installed. Would use them again in a bind, but would have liked to choose the hot water heater, but didn't have time as some of the other installers would have not come for a couple of days and I couldn't wait that long.

    Western Rooter & Plumbing
After discovering a leak (probably in the slab) of hot water, we just decided to replace the entire plumbing piping in our 30 years old 2 story house with 3 bathrooms. The copper pipes were replaced by durable flexible plastic pipes and the project also included replacing the water heater. The crew- Manny, Mitch and Josh promised to finish the project in 3 days- and they sure did it. The GREAT TEAM, efficient and professional, worked non stop and communicated with me before taking each next step. They reconnected about 20 points (such as washing machine, dishwasher, new water heater, multiple faucets and 3 toilets) The price is a little steep but the quality of the job looks very good.

    Nexxus Remodeling Inc
Working with Tony and his team was a great experience. We met with 2 other contractors but no one really instilled confidence or ensured that they can meet our deadline. We started demo in mid-November with a move in date for the start of February. With the holiday season in between other contractors were skeptical in their ability to deliver. Tony was confident it could be done and he did not disappoint. This was our first home and we bit off more than we can chew as far as the remodel but Tony helped us and guided us through the process. He was trustworthy and straight with us with what needed to be done. If there was an issue he brought it up for discussion and we tackled it as needed. His team did an excellent job and they listened to and answered any questions or changes we had along the way to get the house how we wanted. His main team consisted of John the construction manager, Francisco the carpenter and Carlos the painter. Each was a pleasure to work with and gave us quality work. Tony's price estimate was higher than the other two contractors we talked to but the level of service and quality he provided was well worth it. Tony will tell you that from the start. He shadowed us at multiple stores to ensure we buy the right hardware/countertops/tiles/sink/tub/toilet/etc. He helped us with decisions along the way. He was always available via phone or text to answer any concerns or questions. He hounded his team if anything was subpar and made the necessary adjustments to give us what we want. City of Glendale is known for its tough inspectors but Tony and his team dealt with them appropriately, hammering away any issues due to confusion brought on by 3 different city inspectors. Overall we were very happy with Nexxus and Tony. We moved in the first week of February and haven't looked back since.

The whole job was excellent. The guy arrived on time, gave me an estimate, honored the offer/voucher offered by the company on Angie's List , the voucher reduced the estimate which I ended up paying as the final bill. The work done was professionally executed, clean, took a reasonable time and the tech. was happy to answer all of my questions about the new unit.

    GoodFellas Construction
Goodfellas Construction has been spectacular on my bathroom renovation. Built in 1940, the two bedroom one bath house had never had a major renovation. Usually just maintenance to solve what was required to fix an immediate problem. The bathroom was the obvious choice for a renovation starting point - the small shower stall (like a closet with water), cast iron tub, linoleum floor, old pipes and inadequate lighting were really depressing. After asking friends and neighbors and driving by construction sites, I found GOODFELLAS and called to set up a meeting. Danny Gold came to the house, and we talked about what I wanted in the renovation. Based on our discussion, he wrote up a fair estimate and specified the things I would be responsible for providing and the things that Goodfellas would provide. This approach allows the homeowner to personalize the project - you get to select the materials for flooring, vanity, plumbing fixtures, etc. so you have control of what the finshed project will look like. Danny Gold remained the focal point of the construction management effort. He was always available for questions or guidance throughout the project. He is personable and knowledgeable and is always aware of how his subcontractors are progressing. Goodfellas started in the bathroom, but as I could see the resullts of their work, the scope of the project enlarged - Re-pipe, Drain line upgrade, Electrical upgrade, Forced Air furnace replacement and painting. Goodfellas brought in their specialty subcontractors and never failed to please. The subcontractors were always on time, and ready to work for as long as it took to finish. Considering the extent of the work being done, the level of inconvenience for me was always a priority. Contractors left the job as clean as possible, and kept me in the loop as to what was going to happen next and when they would be finished with each subsequent phase. Goodfellas worked well with the City of Glendale permitting department, Department of Water and Power and the individual inspectors that certified the work. At each inspection, a Goodfellas representative and the subcontractor were available to answer any question or concern that arose. I like Goodfellas so much Im going for the kitchen remodel next week.

    Unique Rooter & Plumbing
We called late on a Saturday as our elderly parent's water heater died. The first plumber we called went to the site and we thought he would replace the water heater that day. Called our parents to find out how it went only to find the plumber was coming back Monday as he upsold them one for $1350. I called him back and he said he could get a cheap one from Home Depot and install it on Sunday. I asked how much it would cost for the "cheap" one and he said it would cost the same as the " better" one. We told him we would call someone else instead. Called Armen and he was very nice and explained that the 30, 40 and 50 gallon water heaters cost the same at Home Depot which was nice to know. We asked him to replace the 30 gallon with a larger one. He showed up first thing Sunday morning and our parents were very pleased. He was very nice and did the job professionally. We appreciated that he came first thing in the morning and our parents were able to have hot water again.
