    Spazio LA
Date of project - August through December 2017. Cost over 100,000. I could not have been happier with the quality of work accomplished by SPAZIO, the commitment to making us feel comfortable and answering our questions patiently and thoroughly and the responsiveness to any question, emergency, etc. Our project was long, expensive and very involved. It required lots of coordination among people, such as, architects, engineers, painters, plasterers, plumbers, electricians, and on and on. All the work was done efficiently and seamlessly. Suggestions given to us for vendors to use was also excellent and the materials used were top notch. SPAZIO and Essi (CEO and project manager) were able to keep a good cost/benefit balance so we got, 'the biggest bang for our buck.' I recommend them enthusiastically and without reservation. Pretty much on budget and on time!!!!!

    Fireplace Freddie
We got 4 bids for our fireplace. Read some good and some bad reviews of all of them. Fireplace Freddie topped the bids price wise, but negotiated down a bit after we said we would paint. Once we signed the contract, they showed up right on time the next day to start the job and the demo went well. Once that was done, work slowed to a crawl and we could not seem to find out who was in charge of our project. We spoke with about 5 different people throughout the project with none of them knowing or even having access to complete information. Communication both within the company and with us was poor. Scheduling was WAY off with some days nobody showing up or calling. Sometimes they would show up and work for 2 hours then be gone for 3 days. The only positive thing I can say is that Juan and his partner who actually performed the work were professional and did good work. Would not use Fireplace Freddie again and would not recommend them to anyone.

    FOOTHILL FIREPLACE CO
He emailed and called back promptly and came out to inspect the room. Based upon the structure of my home, he told me that it was structurally impossible to remove just the one fireplace. Since this was not possible, I asked about putting in a gas insert. He was VERY honest and told me that the space was too small to put that in as the heat generated would be overpowering. He also inspected my fireplace in the living room He did not charge for the visit and the advice. However, if I need any work done in the future, he will definitely be my first call. Very professional, friendly, honest and direct person.

    Ashler Fireplace and Chimney
My first meeting with Mike (the owner) gave me a very good impression of him and the company. At our first appointment he called and said he was going to be about 45 mins early to the house (since miraculously there was no traffic that day) but when I told him I was still meeting with another contractor, he was extremely accommodating and told me he would stop and get some coffee and wait until closer to our appt. time to come by. That was realllllly nice of him. It helped me out a lot and it was one of the reasons why we decided to hire them. When they actually started working, it was the same punctual and professional atmosphere. The first day on the job the crew showed up early! They worked efficiently and got everything done in just 2 days. They covered the entire area they were working in with plastic so the rest of our house didn't get filled with dust and the work area was completely clean and perfect when they left. It was almost like they hadn't even been there!
Now we have a beautiful "new" fireplace and the curb appeal of our house has been greatly enhanced thanks to our remodeled pilasters and planters!

Fiddler On The Roof Chimney Service
James was the service technician sent out to perform chimney service.  He was friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough.  He spent the time to explain code to me and what options were available to fix my fireplace, helped me explore my options.  Best of all I understood what he was telling me, meaning he's a good teacher also.
    Thanks, Names

John Marsh provided the best explanation of my repair options. He was friendly yet very professional. He keep me informed at each stage. Once work started things went smoothly because all materials were set and ready. At each inspection everything passed fine. His crew kept things neat and cleared up very well. I especially liked that he was present when work was done, it wasn't just his crew. |Lastly he included an extension of the gas line from my fireplace to my patio for a gas BBQ grill! This saved me the cost of having a plumber do the gas extension.

    OREGON CHIMNEY SWEEP
We had had a chimney fire.  Mr. Campbell thoroughly inspected and cleaned the chimney and fireplace and told us no repair was needed.  He also pointed out a deficiency in the way the previous owner had added brick over the original fireplace exterior tiling and suggested how I should remedy it.  He was polite, professional, punctual, knowledgeable--every good word you might apply to a tradesman--and the work was quite reasonably priced considering how long it had been since we had last had it serviced.  I paid him extra.  We have found our chimney person.

    Royal Fireplace
We recently moved into a home that had been unoccuppied for 5 months and not properly maintained for abut 7 years.  I did not want to light any kind of fire without first having the chimney checked and cleaned. A two man team came out. One on the roof and one by the fire place. They checked for safety and then cleaned it out. Our chimney is now ready for use!

Ralph is extremely knowledgeable and professional. We wanted our fireplace refaced in ledger stone (it had been done in old fake brick, which was falling off) and had picked out and purchased the material already. Ralph gave us what I thought was a reasonable estimate, and did a beautiful job installing the stone. When we found out the flue didn't seal but about half the chimney, he replaced that as well, again at a reasonable price. He works very clean and does a good clean up when he is done. We want to put a gas unit with glass rocks in the fireplace and he told me how to do it, where to look for materials, and what to buy. I would recommend him without any reservations for any fireplace or chimney work. Our fireplace is gorgeous!
