  • The experience was great. This guy was incredible. The way he went about the exam, his friendliness, his attitude, the time he spent with me explaining to me. Overall, you got the feeling you would get from a doctor circa 1950.  He really took the time. I didn't really get treatment but his diagnosis was an 'A'.

  • You 'want all the details'?  Well, of course, what is talked about in the therapists office stays in the office!
He was extremely helpful. He created an atmosphere in which I felt safe, which helps a lot when you are a woman and your shrink is a man. He gave me challenges yet always treated me with respect. He was never condescending, and when I held my ground he acknowledged my 'moxie' and celebrated my efforts. He helped my self esteem a great deal -
Or, let's say, he created an environment of trust and support in which my self esteem could grow.

  • I have been seeing Dr. Jalili regularly every week for twice a week now for the past 1 1/2 months.  After maybe 3 visits I had very little pain in my hip and today no pain. But the pain in my shoulder did not get better and after I think my 4th visit, Dr. Jalili referred me to the orthopedic doctor in his office to make sure something else was not wrong with my shoulder. We discovered I had bursitis so then I  was referred to the physical therapist in his office and she has done wonders for my shoulder.  I am so please with how I feel.
Dr. Jalili is not only good at what he does he is an excellent listener and not only does he listen but he hears you.  He is concerned with the outcome and you know it by the way he treats you.   He's a chiropractor and holistic doctor all in one.  I continue to be impressed with his character and integrity. I am very pleased with this office.  His staff reflects who he is in the way they treat you.  He's done a good job training his staff I think.
Oh one other thing is I live in Glendale and it takes almost an hour to get there, but he is so so worth the drive.  It's a fun office and he is a very caring doctor.

  • Everything is great with him. He fits many of the paradigms that I was raised with and he works with brain damaged people. He has more of a focus of getting you better than just the typical psychologist crap you get from other psychologists. He therefore, puts you on track. He deals with other brain damaged conditions and is very well rounded as far as brain problems go. He deals with depression, anxiety, intimacy & sexual issues, senior concerns, and relationship building. For the short time that I have been seeing him he's changed my life quite a bit.

  • I made an appointment with him because I could no longer see the doctors at MCLA (the practice he is a part of) with Medicare; he is the only one who takes Medicare. My original appointment date was for next week, they called on Wednesday morning and moved it to the next day at 10:45. The Wednesday evening I found that I had entered the donut hole of Plan D and had to wait till the next morning to call part d and see if I could be prescribed any medication, turns out- no, not if I couldn't afford the entire cost of it myself. If I had called in and canceled the appointment I would have been charged $75 for late cancellation. I was on the phone with AARP to find out what the doctor could actually do for me and finally got off at 10:38, the morning of the appointment. I rushed over there, arrived in the parking lot at 10:46, his watch showed I was 7 minutes late. (At this same facility, with a very nice doctor, I was kept waiting 1 and 1/2 hours for a psychiatric appointment, which I did not mind because I knew it was an emergency. The doctor today proceeded to chide me for being "so late" and that there wasn't much time and not much he could do because I was so late. I proceeded to tell him the AARP phone call caused the lateness and there wasn't anything he could do for me anyway. He said than why did you make an appointment, it's as if he didn't want to hear what I was saying. He didn't seem able to read my file correctly (the only reason I went to him was because my file was already there) and kept bringing up medication I had taken in the nineties and samples I got that I didn't take, bringing up anything I had mentioned in the last six years to any of my doctors there. I desperately wanted to stay at MCLA because everyone there is SO NICE! This guy is an anomaly, I've seen him in the hall and calling his patients in for their appointments and he's the sourest physician I have every encountered. I wanted to leave when he started berating me, but I was afraid he would tell Medicare that I had left before the session was over and I would be made to pay for the whole thing. He ended up saying, I don't know what I can do, maybe the girl at the front can give you some phone numbers for charity clinics that might give you free medication. (I did not bother Crystal (the secretary) with it because I can use the internet to get the phone numbers) I did not sign my form that I was asked to fill out to see him he said I was late and should finish it afterwards. I've never been so upset with a physician in my life. It's now 2:37 and I'm still shaking and it took me this long to stop crying. What a horrible man, he either hates his job or he hates his patients or he just didn't like me, however, since I hate confrontation, I don't think I was objectionable, I just wanted to go home. If you are looking for at least a positive experience in medication management, do not use this man, he is obviously very unhappy, as will you be (unless you have the toughest hide) when you leave. AGAIN, I WANT TO EMPHASIZE THAT ALL THE OTHER DOCTORS IN THIS PRACTICE ARE CARING, INDIVIDUALS WHO WOULD NEVER BEHAVE THIS WAY AND THE SUPPORT STAFF ARE AMAZING. THIS IS ONLY FOR THIS DOCTOR.

  • The doctor was arrogant and downright rude. He was convinced that my problem was non-existent, and was patronizing and brusque. Wouldn't even deign to examine me. Thank goodness I went elsewhere and found a life-threatening condition he would have found if he'd taken me seriously. Oh, and I was kept waiting forever in the waiting room. I should have fled.

  • Very good experience. The therapist provided really connects with my child. Also, as a single working parent Greenhouse worked with me on scheduling appoints we could actually make.

  • I've been seeing Dr Young for 10 years, a few times a year mostly to monitor medication. He is easy to talk to and I've never had any issue with appointments.
