American Home Improvement is such a great construction company with outstanding customer service and very high-end standards. All of their workers are very professional, skilled and well-mannered while David always was there for us to answer all of our questions, comments, concerns and ideas. After we finished our remodeling, we can say clearly that we definitely wont hire anyone else ever for any remodeling that we may do in the future while we will keep recommend them to our friends, family and who ever we know. Bottom line is that they were the greatest team that we can ever imagine to work or be involved with.

Terrible, First they got the wrong colors and laid the whole patio with the wrong color., They could not get the right border color right. They mixed the border stones in with the patio stones, which shorted us on the border stones which they could not match when needed later. Job was suppose to take 7-10 days but took 3 months to get right. The project manager failed to inspect the job, when informed the colors for the field looked wrong. Crew told to continue laying the patio. I had to call out the owners to get the pavers fixed. The he sent a guy below him to finish up the job after stating he would be here. I cannot tell you how many tries it took to get it right.. I will never hire them again. One more thing Do not pay them until the job is to you satisfaction.

On time to give the estimate and I was able to get same day service. They ran 30 min late coming from another job, but they did communicate to me the information. The guys worked hard, we very polite and did remove all debris. Would hire them again for sure!

The vendor arrived late. He viewed the tree's and indicated that the amount paid on the deal was for 2 hours of work. The deal was for 400.00 worth of tree work. I ended up having the pay an additional 375.00 for 2 tree's.  If there are only 2 people, of course it is going to take them longer.  The vendor  did not clean up all their mess,. They left their garbage in my yard, they filled my can up and did not tell me and to top it off,  one tree is very uneven.

Another firm create the landscaping design for my front yard.  I asked Del Mar Landscaping to execute the design, which included re-configuring the irrigation to a drip system.  I messaged Conrad through Angie's list and he responded with a quote after I sent him the detailed design.  He told me up front that he wouldn't be able to start my job for at least a month, due to the demand for this services.  However, he kept his word and started on the date he promised. He followed the design exactly as depicted on paper.  His crew was professional and efficient.  The job was done in 2 days, even though he told me it could take up to 5.  I'm very pleased with the result.  Initially, I thought the estimate was a bit on the high side, but I live by the adage that more often than not, you get what you pay for.

The crew showed up  early and go right to work.  I have two large trees that were causing problems (dropped limbs, lots of leaves and worst of all threatening the house with branches). The men were very efficient and all seemed to know what the job was.  They came early, got the job done, and cleaned up afterwards.  That is an A+ grade !  Thanks so much Tim !

Although expensive, I'm very pleased with the results.  My back yard is a beautiful oasis for my family and pets.  They came in and leveled the yard.  Removed old grass and caped off the sprinklers.  They then installed pavers, pet friendly artificial turf and rerouted the sprinklers to the flower bed.

Purchased the Angie's List deal for $89 for two hours of electrical work.
The deal read:  Deal can be used for any variety of electrical needs such as: installation of new lighting including dimmer switches and recessed lighting, installation of ceiling fans, installing interior or exterior outlets, diagnosing circuit outages, and much more.
I called I explained that I was looking to install an outlet above my fireplace for a TV.  I also mentioned that there were two outlets within a couple of feet to the fireplace that could be tapped and that the room has had all drywall removed and is currently down to the studs exposing all electrical in the room for an easier job.  I also explained that it would be roughly a 7 foot run and I had already purchased all the hardware.
They told me that I should have called prior to purchasing the deal because the fine print reads that the deal is only good for jobs with existing wiring.  I was confused because the deal clearly states "installation of new lighting including dimmer switches and recessed lighting, installation of ceiling fans, installing interior or exterior outlets".  All of which requires new wiring, rite?  They than quickly offered me a refund and sent me back to Angie's List to cancel my coupon purchase.  They didn't even try to work with me or offer any other services for my $$.  Super shady.  Wasting my time and now I have to go through Angie's List for a refund a process that takes several weeks.  Awesome.
I ended up going with a local electrical company who charged me $55.00 to do the above task plus rewire some outdoor lighting.  Literally took the guy 15 minutes to do what I was asking them to do.

obtained several bids for our job, PVM was not the cheapest but we chose them primarily because of the many positive reviews on Angies List. The demolition crew arrived exactly as planned, worked efficiently and had the old driveway demolished and removed in a few hours. The installation crew of 4 had the new driveway and porch done in about 1.5 days. After the job was completed they cleaned and left our property in fine condition, very satisfied with the results.
