  • Asher was in charge of the remodeling of two bathrooms in my house. He was very helpful in picking out the various tiles, vanities and other hardware. He met me at several stores to show me what was available. As the project progressed, several other jobs came up, some of which were not even part of the remodeling job. He got these side jobs done at no extra cost to me. Throughout the work, he was very professional and extremely easy to work with. He kept me informed of the progress and would call me immediately when a problem arose. He would make recommendations on how to handle different situations but would always let me make the final decision without being pushy. He always seemed devoted to making sure I was totally satisfied with the whole project. I would definitely recommend him for any home construction project .

  • American Home Improvement is such a great construction company with outstanding customer service and very high-end standards. All of their workers are very professional, skilled and well-mannered while David always was there for us to answer all of our questions, comments, concerns and ideas. After we finished our remodeling, we can say clearly that we definitely won’t hire anyone else ever for any remodeling that we may do in the future while we will keep recommend them to our friends, family and who ever we know. Bottom line is that they were the greatest team that we can ever imagine to work or be involved with.

  • We did a flloring project with cielo, moving some walls, termite treatment and interior paint. Tom Cohen was our project manager. Honestly, he is very responsible and responsive, he over delivered on what he promised and also gave us a plumbing service and a new faucet for free while we were deep into the project. The crews are very proffesional and they respected our home and premisses. Tom was here almost every day to supervise the job and to make sure that everything is coordinated with no hiccups. I used to call him with questions at least twice a day and he allways picked up the phone or got back to me asap, with a lot of patience allways answered my questions and made sure to cover every area of concern that we had. He even brought us a small present for Christmas. Overall, couldn't ask for a smoother and a worry free project. I would definatelly use this company again

  • From day one, Rafi listened to my needs and patiently answered all of my questions. He never made me feel like he was in a rush to move on to his next job or client.  He worked with us to design a solution that fit within our budget, without compromising quality. We are very pleased with the final result. Rafi's experience and knowledge in the industry truly set him apart from all of the rest. I look forward to our next project together. I trust Rafi and his team to take care of my home from Foundation to Roof.

  • They recently remodeled our master bathroom. Prior to that, they retiled our other two bathrooms. They have also done exterior and interior painting, roofing and replaced all the doors at our residence. They keep you informed on how the job is progressing and leave the work area as clean as possible at the end of each workday. Their prices are competitive and they are very professional in how they go about completing their work. I would highly recommend them for any projects that you might be considering in the near future

  • Alan was just fantastic! He responded right away to my call, then, when he came out, he went right to work.. I loved the fact that he explained what he was looking at and what he needed to do to fix the problem. Besides his fixing the problems we had, he was just a wealth of information. I even called him later to ask about another potential problem, but he was able to walk me though it so I didn't need to have him come out afterall. I have a few more projects that I'll be calling Alan for. He was just a pleasure to have here and I know who I can and will be calling on for any additional future projects.  Thanks a lot Alan.. I really appreciated all you did for us!!

  • Felipe was responsive to my inquiries and immediately came out to provide an inspection and estimate.  His appearance was clean and well groomed, and his truck was a newer model.  My overall first impression was that Felipe knew what he was doing and could be trusted.  He immediately provided a written estimate and agreement.  We signed and scheduled work for a time that was convenient for me.  (I appreciate that Felipe as accommodating to my schedule.)
He arrived at our pre-designated time, prepared and ready for work.  All materials and tools were ready to go.  Work was completed properly and very well done.  He cleaned up his mess and left my place neat and tidy.
I will be inviting Felipe back for many more jobs to come.  Very happy that I found him.

  • I wish I had read yelp reviews before I signed up with company.  This being my first time in dealing with contractor, I should have let a person who understand contracts read mine before I signed it.  Things I thought I was purchasing turned out to not be a part of contract.  Example, I wanted pocket doors for bathroom. Contract stated " stall pocket doors".  I thought that meant  purchasing and installing doors were part of contract.  That was not the case.  It meant in addition to what I paid for I  now had to purchase pocket door and frame.  I thought shower fixtures were part of remodel, not in contract so those were items I had to purchase.
New sink and medicine cabinet installed by contractor were new but cheap.  My old sink and cabinet cost more than what was installed.  Sometimes I had to go to home depot with workers to pick up parts for them to do their job.  It took several inspections (2 or 3) for the electrical to pass inspection in the bathroom.  The finished product  was fine but getting there was too much of a problem and to much out of pocket spending.  Trash and debris were hauled away in timely manner.  Workers (C & S) were courteous and professional.  This experience has taught me to let a knowledgable person read contract before I sign one in the future.
I wrote a progress review in September that stated everything was coming along fine.  Soon after that things did not remain fine.
AGAIN MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT THE CONTRACT STATES AND IT IS WHAT YOU EXPECT.

  • It went AMAZINGLY WELL.  We actually never got a second estimate - Felipe came over to do an initial estimate - we got him through the SnapFix App - and he was just really honest, had great communication, and we felt no need to get any additional estimates.  I've had enough slimy contractors give me bids before - there was no need to go through that.
Initially I just wanted Felipe to remove and reframe this window in the shower that the previous owners had drywalled over on the other side when they made an addition.  While he was there, I started asking how much it would be for him to actually put up the tile, and the floor, and ended up just asking for a bit that itemized everything, and asked for his recommendation on what we could do ourselves to save some money and what he should probably just do.  I've asked contractors that same question before, and usually they start telling me I don't know what I'm doing and start with the slimy sales pitch and scare tactics.  But Felipe gave his professional opinion, was NOT condescending at all, he just explained what he thought and itemized everything for us.
The job itself took 3 weeks, with 1-2 people here each day.  The first few days we stayed home during the work, but after that we just gave Felipe a key and didn't worry a bit about our house.  He kept us constantly updated about what was going on, what he was running into, and what the best solution was.  We ended up having to reframe the bathroom floor (water damage?yay?) and redo the plumbing inside the wall as the fun surprises that pop up during a remodel, so our original price went up a bit, but not by anything catastrophic.  His guys were amazing.  Our screen door had a doorknob that was on upside down, so it didn't really click shut, and I guess it drove him nuts so he fixed it.  They also helped us with some other things that we mentioned offhand while they were here.
Overall, if you are looking for a guy who is honest and does an amazing job, who you can trust in your house and gives you a fair price, Felipe is your guy.

  • Todd and his crew, Shawn and Mike, showed up early each day and got right to work.  Every step of the way was discussed with me.  Todd explained each part of the job and stopped whenever I had a question and explained how they were doing things.  I am a bit of a worrier so I asked a lot of questions.  When it came to the deck there were quite a few decisions that I needed to make that I hadn't thought about and Todd stopped the job at each point to discuss and show me the options such as where I wanted the steps, how wide I wanted the steps.  He also offered some options that I hadn't thought about like shifting to a darker color on the deck skirt so that the color wouldn't be too overwhelming.  I was glad he recommended that because it looked much better.  The job took longer than originally planned due to some of my needs and some of his needs and some issues with delivery of materials.  This was not a problem for me , I preferred to take a day off rather than feel pressured to finish.  Todd and the crew were very easy to have on the property.  Everyone was very nice and polite and responsive.  One thing that Todd made sure I knew was that it was his goal to make sure I was happy with the job and I am very happy with the job and I will hire them again.
