    GoodFellas Construction Bay Area
At the time of the work a little over two years ago, we worked with Tom Levi with Goodfellas Construction to have our work done. Now, some of the work they did (copper repiping and bathroom shower/bath remodel) has failed and we have a water leak in the second story bathroom shower wall that they constructed. The water is leaking down through the floor into the first floor half bath. I called Goodfellas in San Jose on August 30 and the receptionist told me the company had been sold to American Home Builders and that my name was not on a list of clients, therefore they would not help me. I asked for a name of an individual to talk to and/or the manager of the firm, and the receptionist refused to provide it. Then I called Goodfellas in Calabasas and spoke to the receptionist there "Lisa" who told me she would have "Lorena" call me back. I have received no call back.

    SOD Home Group
We did a remodeling project for our house. Luxcess Home by SOD Builders was very knowledgeable, skilled, did met all the deadlines of many topics related to the remodeling project, communicated with us very often and met the budget very good. The office staff and the project manager were sharp, knowledgeable and always responded punctually to us. The communication was critical during the remodeling process. The painting team did a very detailed job and made sure to cover everything before they even started to paint. After the work was finished, our supervisor came over and checked everything at the house. All his corrections were fixed by Luxcess Home by SOD Builders people on a the same week. Luxcess Home by SOD Builders did the remodeling job done very professionally and to our best satisfaction.

Great so far. Job isn't complete because I needed to move a mountain of stuff to allow repairman access to several areas. Expect work will be as efficient as on first visit.. As indeed it was. Technician arrived well within time window, swarmed all over affected rooms, found the problem, fixed it, showed me what the culprit was, all in less than a hour. From first contact to completion, this business feels like the old- fashioned small town repair people I grew up knowing in the 1950's - good at what they do and determined to do it right the first time. Thanks for a 100% positive experience. Would rate you A+ if possible

K Young Remodeling Cabinetry & Design
After discussing the project with several contractors, I selected K Young Cabinetry to do the work, primarily because Kenneth seemed knowledgeable, experienced, and flexible. Little did we both know how important these three attributes would be in the coming months. The initial estimate was about four weeks of work, but after the demolition and the available space was exposed and I had to redo my design several times, we found that limited amount of time to be unrealistic. In fact, the project took about five months to complete for a number of reasons, including change requests from me and some design aspects that took a couple revisions by Kenneth to complete to my satisfaction. This project was the epitome of "custom." I drew sketches of what I wanted, then Kenneth took measurements along the way and cut pieces to fit. This project turned out to be a very "Tetris"-like exercise in which only a few of the structures were built in his workshop. Most of the cutting and assembly work was done on-site and installed piece by piece, with Kenneth measuring a spot and cutting a precise piece to fit. Kenneth hired some skillful subcontractors who performed high-quality paint, texturing, and wiring work. Along the way, there were a few "fit and finish" items that initially didn't quite meet Kenneth's and my high expectations, so Kenneth redid a few items so that my needs were met and my satisfaction was ensured. I estimate that this new design now uses at least 90% of the available space under the stairs. What previously was a tube TV niche has now become a media center for in-wall audio and video gear along with hidden storage. The media wall is now not only very useful, but quite attractive and my friends and neighbors who have identical floor plans have been impressed with the conversion. Photo 1 shows the original TV niche space after the sheet rock was removed. Photo 2 shows the load-bearing structure after it was redone to maximize the utility per my specifications. Photo 3 shows the finished project with the new 55" flat-screen TV hung on a door that opens to access the media storage area inside. Photo 4 shows the doors opened to reveal the interior space used for media storage, complete with lighting. Photo 5 shows the interior electronic wiring panel, which serves as a central hub for connecting all the of the A/V gear for the home theater system. Photo 6 shows the pull-out drawer, designed by me with several complex sections, that uses most of the available space at the bottom of the stairs and gives me plenty of storage for hardware, remotes, user manuals, and other gear.

    EZ Builders Inc.
We always had concerns and fears in hiring any contractor for any type of remodeling project to our house because so many horror stories that we heard from others. However when we contacted EZ builders we felt from our first meeting with their representative Vitaly that this company is a completely different style of people and we had a very good feeling about them. The on-site crews were very friendly, hard workers and efficient with lots of patience with us. Vitaly the project manager was very communicative person and always returned our calls. The completed kitchen remodeling project was stunning and we couldnt be happier. We will hire them again for any new projects we may have in the future and we do recommend them to others. We give EZ builders a truly A+ rating.

It went great! From our request for an estimate to the project end, Alley Electric was responsive and professional. At one point, we were confused about the pattern of the lights, so instead of winging it, he called a rep from Alley who came out within 30 minutes and worked with the installer to resolve the issue. I am very pleased with the final product. The next day, one fixture stopped working and Alley was out in less than 2 hours from the time we notified them and replaced the fixture. I would certainly hire them again and/or recommend them without hesitation!!!

Excellent work. Alley was the third electrical contractor we worked with to resolve this tricky problem. Alley was very accommodating about rescheduling our first appointment at my request. Alley called me the morning of the early appointment and gave me appropriate notice they were going to be late because of traffic issues. Once at our home Alley investigated the issue, carefully climb through our attic and fixed the problem.

Good. The electricians were polite and professional. They confirmed the job details with me before starting and instead of just installing the new sign exactly where the old sign was, the electrician asked me if I would like to change the height of the sign, which I did. Thats good customer service!
