    From the ambulance to the ER staff, to billing, admission, nurses and doctor, and radiology it was great.  I was pretty scared and in pain and they put me at ease.  I was put in a room immediately as there was concern of a lung puncture. I felt like I was taken seriously for the first time (and I used to work at another hospital).  I didn't wait for anything.  I think I was out in 2 hours and that was only because they needed to make sure the pain meds worked and that I didn't get worse. Even the doctor did the bedside ultrasound himself!  I have never seen that in my 30 years in the medical field.  Billing came to the ER to register me and have me sign everything.  Everyone was very nice.  With the way insurance and medical care is changing, this was a blessing.  I will not go to my usual hospital anymore - even though it's 1 mile from my house!  I highly recommend Valley Care and I hope they stay this good.  We need it.

    I've worked in the medical field for 45 years so I'm familiar with the way medical is supposed to operate. Sometimes I don't get the service I would have expected from a medical institution based on my past experience. In other words, they are rushing you in and rushing you out. They can't wait to get through with you so that they can get to the next patient and that's usually because they have a whole lot of patients to see. They really don't treat you on a personal scale as well as I would have expected them to. Kaiser is kind of like that. From my experience I know that personal care or attentiveness to patients is vital and that's what I based on to judge Kaiser. There's no problem with the office environment. The issue is with the doctor. They have a tendency to listen but they can't wait to see the next patients. When you get in, you have to wait for them to get to you depending on how busy they are. They're friendly. I've had a few problems with the administration because of paper work. I think sometimes they don't know how to do their job and they won't listen to me.

    They are very good as you can get your results very soon and you can get your appointments online. I like their atmosphere. They are neat and the service provided is fast. They are good. I like the pediatrician that I saw there. I saw them the second day after I called for appointment, so their availability is good.

    My husband had surgery for a tumor on his back in November. This was a follow up appointment. It went wonderful. Dr. Stephen Ryu felt the urgency and scheduled us right away. He explained things very clearly.

    Called the advice nurse to discuss symptoms over the phone and concluded that I needed to be examined. My primary care physician was not available that day so we booked an alternate.
    Visit went well after the obligatory 10 minute wait (typical for Kaiser) and checking my vitals.
    Saw the doctor, he checked my medical history (right there on their computerized records system), examined me and confirmed an ear infection. He prescribed antibiotics and sent the prescription to the pharmacy down the hall.
    Another ten minute wait and I was out.
    Fremont Kaiser is a nice facility and the integration of services (including the computerized medical records system) works very well. Kaiser is very by the book (i.e. evidence-based medicine and robust adherence to good practices). A lot of it just sounds repetitive after you've done it many times, but it's good that they continually make sure they do the basics right.

    I recommend them very much. I have been going to them for a while. The whole atmosphere is good. All the physicians I have seen there, they all have been really good. The lab is easy to use. They are convenient. They are good.

    I went into a coma because I had a high fever.  I stopped breathing and then I was on life support.  I would give the doctors and the nurses a very low rating.  It was a horrible experience; it was a nightmare.  I came out of the coma and I told that I was leaving.  I was so drugged that I was hallucinating.  It was crazy and I was freaking out.  I told them I don’t want any more drugs and it took 6 months for me to get normal.  I checked out early.  The room didn’t have hot water. They wanted to know why I didn’t give myself a bath.  I had two IV poles hooked up to me; how was I supposed to carry the pan of water and there was no hot water either.  I am never going to them again.   They don’t have a cardiologist 24 hours a day.  One time a nurse handled me very badly; she lifted me and threw me back on the bed and my head bounced several times.  I was messed up because of the drugs they gave me.  The doctors were terrible.  The hospital is filthy and dirty.  They didn’t change my bed sheets when I was there for two weeks.  My husband said it was so awful the way they handled me.  I am allergic to so many drugs and I didn’t have red bands on me when I woke up from coma.

    .I have got really wonderful service. The staff there is always very helpful and friendly and the doctors that I have had, been most pleased with. Unfortunately the ones I had known best have all retired. Now I am trying out new ones. They have been fine. You hear stories about Kaiser and bad complaints from other people but with the Fremont office I have never had a bad experience there. They also have Market Basket on Thursdays when they all the vendors for food purchase. Sometimes there is a wait as far as availability is concerned. I will continue to use their service in the future.

    We use them for annual checkups and it is an ongoing. The doctors are great. They are good doctors. They know what they are doing and they are efficient in a friendly way to the patient. The system is managed well and they are well organized. They follow up on everything and let you know when you need follow up appointments. They are good in their billing system. I would recommend people to go there. They have all facilities there and you don't have to go anywhere else. They have multiple locations. Many of their doctors are from Stanford. They are friendly and professional. They have an urgent care facility and if you see someone that is not your doctor, your doctor is advised and can see your medical history and prescriptions that you are taking. Everything is on the computer system. Everything is online and I can check my whole background for all the time that I have been going there. All my doctors are on staff at Palo Alto.
