  • I had System Pavers put in a new driveway, porch and path for me, and am extremely pleased with the results. My project manager, Javier Rodriguez, came by every day to make sure everything was going smoothly. When an issue came up, he was right on it, whether it was dealing with PG&E or the water company, or bringing in equipment or supplies. He always made sure that I knew I could contact him at any time about anything I had concerns about, and he checked in frequently with me. The men who worked on the project were amazing. They were very skilled at what they were doing, and also extremely respectful of my property, cleaning up at the end of every day. System Pavers has a 20-year warranty and Javier made sure to tell me that he works in my area often and I can always call him if I have a problem in the future. My design consultant, Joe Kauffman, did a great job and went the extra mile to be sure I was happy with the design he created for my project. System Pavers is expensive, but I never worried about the quality of their work, so I feel they are worth it.

  • Our plumbing went out on Christmas Eve needless to say we could not get someone to come out then. But Christmas morning we called Express Plumbing and a young man came Christmas Day and worked all afternoon to try and get our plumbing working again. Unfortunately the problem was more complex and took a week to complete. But Express Plumbing took care of everything. A portion of our lawn had to be taken up the street had to be dug up but when they were finished you would not have known anything had happened! Very professional! Would not hesitate to recommend or hire them again and their price was I felt more than reasonable.

  •  Khiem was very understanding and helpful and provided recommendations and suggestions on how to plan and design the whole thing. Each member of his team was an expert in the area of work performed. They paid attention to details and if I called out anything, they would change or fix it until i was satisfied. Plus Khiem and team did many additional minor things that had not been discussed initially. It has been ~5 to 6 months since the work is done and the writing of this review and every thing is still perfect. I would definitely work with Khiem and his team again.

  • This 3 bedroom, 2 bath single level home was built in 1963, it had galvanized water pipes and a combination of galvanized, iron and PVC drain pipes.
The crew of three promptly arrived at 8:50 AM each day. Day 1 was re-pipe. Main water was turned off and all old pipe was removed from home. Sheetrock was cut for access to water heater, toilets and shower pipes. Copper/PEX was installed and water was restored at 6:00 PM that evening. Day 2 was drain replacement and water filter/softener install. Water and drains restored by 8:30 PM. The workers placed tarps throughout the house and cleaned up at the end of each day. They were always polite and accommodating. The only complaint was the dust from the Sheetrock removal, but that was to be expected. The city inspector was scheduled for the following morning at 8:30 AM. The only thing he found wrong was the missing smoke detector in the master bedroom (my fault). The next day, Saturday, at 8:00 AM, the gentleman to repair the Sheetrock arrived. 6 hours later he was finished. Final inspection was on the following Monday, and no problems were found. These guy's are quick and did a fantastic job, we have recommended them to three of our neighbors on our street. We are so happy with their work, water pressure is excellent, and we can drink the water right out of the tap now, plus, no more clogged drains.

  • Work went as best we hoped, knowing going in that repipe involves unusual noise and activity all thru your house.  That said, Repipe1 did an excellent job on our three bedroom two bath home.
The first day was the piping and by 8:30 pm or so we had water again.  The city inspection went well the next day (the inspector seemed more concerned about whether we had a stupid carbon monoxide detector than what he was there for) and the third day was about 6 or 7 hours of patching.  The paint where holes were visible were very closely matched to existing shades.  We noticed one damp slow leak connection on the dishwasher connection the next day and they were out the following day to correct it.
We did have comparable pricing from other providers, but the repipe1 warranty - be sure to compare their wording with others with the competition if you are going that route - and reputation made it an easy choice.

  • I haven't had any problems with my plumbing since Streamline Plumbing fixed my pipes. I would say they could communicate better. It's kind of hard to judge the quality because it's all under the ground. The thing that really bothered me is they didn't really tell me when they were going to disconnect our sewer. I had asked them to tell me when can we use it and when can we not use it. They didn't communicate that to me, even though I had asked. It was a two day job, but when they left for that day, they told me they were going to hook it up, so we can use it and it turned out they didn't do that. The biggest problem was communication. If they had just talked to me, then things would have been much better. But they just didn't communicate when I could use my bathroom and when I couldn't use it and that was all the big things. When I mentioned this to the manager on the phone, he kind of was rude with me and said, "At the prices we charge, I can't afford to have one whole person who is there just to talk to customers." What we're really talking about though is a five minute conversation at the beginning of the day and a five minute conversation at the end of the day. I might use them in the future, but I would make sure the communication was working.

  • We have used G & S Customs for other work around our home and I can only describe our experience as excellent.  From prompt and accurate estimates to a jobs completed right on time.  Our most recent job was handled with high professionalism, competence, and friendliness.  We could not be happier with the work and the results.

We are happy to highly recommend G & S Customs.

  • The drain pipe under my kitchen in a rather tight crawl space was leaking water and food residue from the sink and dishwasher. Tom found that when the house had been remodeled before we bought it in 2009, that a clean out cap was never installed. It wasn't installed because there was no room to install it, since it was up against a beam. The drain pipe further down the line had become plugged, so the water was now just gushing out the pipe where the cap was never installed, flooding the crawl space. Tom reworked the drain piping so it was correct, and cleared the clogged pipe with a long snake, and everything now works perfectly. He did all this one evening after working all day, about 6 hours after we contacted him.

  • The job was done surprisingly quickly. They professionally lined up all the materials and equipment on an as-needed basis so there was little down time during the entire job. As changes or issues came up they dealt with them quickly and professionally without trying to charge me extra. The results of the job were clean and professional. All the sections are level, lined up and square with each other. I had a paver circle kit installed which meant a lot of custom cuts for fit and they did a great job keeping a tight fit around the perimeter. After the job was finished I noticed a loose stone in the wall section and they came out the same day to repair it. Before they left they cleaned up all the debris in my backyard and in the surrounding area. No subcontractors were used and the guy running my job clearly knew what he was doing with 10+ years experience.

  • They did good work, but they did one estimate and then they raised it higher. I was happy about the work, but I wasn't happy that the amount that we were charged got changed once they got into the job because I think they should have known what the job entailed in the beginning. I was happy with the work but I think the estimate should not have changed. I might use them again but I would be very sure that when I called them l would tell them I wouldn't want a change of estimate and if they did give me an estimate I would need them to stick with it.
