    Fine Tree Care
I have hired Jeff and his crew on two occasions. The first was tree trimming and felling > $10,000. The second was brush management and then tending for three different burn piles - $4,000. First - Jeff and his folks are tree whisperers. What I mean is that they are not "hacks", rather they deeply consider the tree, the trees relationship to other trees, and the surrounding environment. They see things that the rest of us mortals don't see. Second - cost and value . For the first job I received three bids. Jeff was competitive - on one occasion he was more - but I am certain I got far greater value than if I had gone for the cheaper bid. On the other he was less - but, I am still sure I got better value. Third - this year I had several burn piles and I was a nervous Nelly. Jeff brought a team who cleared the underbrush and then rebuilt the piles for a clean safe burn. The crew was composed of two former 20+ year veteran fire-fighters. They brought heavy equipment. They did an awesome job. Plus they stayed busy during the burn by helping to fix my road, plus they cut us an awesome redwood bench! We have 25 acres. There is always more to do to keep the land stewarded and to reduce the fire hazard. I will continue to hire Fine Tree - for many years.

They come every week and they are great. They do other stuff but that is what they do for us. I don't really know the pricing for this area but I feel like it is fair for the work they do.

What I really give an A for is attentiveness. You know like if I work with them with recommendations or if I want things a certain way. I am sure they deal with a lot of idiosyncrasies with different owners, and I think they are very good because I kinda work with them.

Contractor damaged our property during services, damage was addressed immediately with owner, Justin Greer, and we attempted to come to a solution. After numerous attempts made by us to resolve the issues and no response we exercised our right to repair the fence to mitigate further damages. We hired and paid for a contractor to repair the fence after sixty (60) days of no remedial actions were taken by contractor. In April 2014  contractor emailed a final bill for payment, we informed him that due to his failure to fix the fence, give us a credit, negotiate a trade or any kind of remedy for the damage he caused we paid for the repairs and that we would not be paying the bill since the other contractors fees were more than what we owed him. After that correspondence we didn't hear anything from him until in October 2015 when he hired an attorney to bully us into paying. This contractor is trying to get paid in full from us and not pay for the damages him and his crew caused upon my property.

    Lopez Landscaping

Lopez Landscaping built a new brick patio.  It is beautiful and the stone work done professionally.  Excellent stone workers on the crew.  The put in stepping stones from house across lawn to new brick patio.  Placed cobble stones to make boarder for a flower bed.

Moved four (4) small Japanese maple trees that were planted too close to the house.  The trees are doing excellent in their new location.

The crew trimmed all the bushes and trees around the yard.  Weeded the area.  Trucked in mulch and spread it through out the yard.  Planted some new flowers and rosemary plants. The crew also took care of a drainage problem where the earth was eroding away from the winters heavy rain storm.  Excellent work.

Felix Lopez is excellent to work with.  Very professional and he knows his stuff!  The crew that works for him is excellent and very professional. They work fast and efficiently.  Lopez Landscaping does charge the going rate for good landscape work.  They were on time and did the job excellently.  I totally recommend them. They have all their own equipment and trucks for the jobs needed.  Excellent stone workers.  Totally recommend it you need stone work done.  Excellent landscapers.

In addition to reliable landscaping twice per month, they prune and trim trees, build walls and fences, and repair culverts -- even emergency tree work. They arrive on time when expected. Always thorough and courteous.

He came out the day we called to give an estimate. It went very well. They cleaned up everything when they were done. A crew of seven came out and they were all professionals. They knew exactly what they were doing and it took them about six hours. I would definitely use them again.

There were days that the workers did a good job.  But generally they seemed to do as little as possible.  For example a big branch fell off my giant redwood tree, and they left it there for several weeks.  I had to call and ask them to removed the dead limb a month after it fell.  Also the men did not even walk around the property to clean up the dead wood I had left in piles, they just left them there.
The last straw for me was when they arrived on my property and stayed in their truck for 10 minutes, then got out and did two things and left in 20 minutes.  I called the office about this 4 times within one week and no one ever called me back.  I left the final message that I did not want a contract with them if they couldn't call me back.  They never called and never came again.  I spent about $2000. with them in about 3 months, and it was over.  Odd.I

    They called me back immediately! (That's surprisingly rare.) And within two days had someone come out to look over our project. He gave us some advice on one of our ailing trees ,which we really appreciated, and wrote up an estimate while he was still at our house. There was no pressure. He said, and quot;Just let us know what parts you'd like to do now and we'll be right out.and quot;
We set an appointment to get the work done just a couple of days later. They came on time, took everything out, walked us through the final review to be sure we were satisfied, cleaned up and left us our lovely pile of woodchips.
Very helpful, considerate, and reliable. I'm definitely having them back next year!

    Ridgeline Landscape Gardening
I am very happy with the work that Pat, Dustin and Nick have done for me.  These guys are VERY hard workers.  They removed or cut back all the plants that were overgrowing the walkways or those that were dead.  If there were plants that should not be pruned at this time they told me when the right time was and volunteered to come back and do it, or show me how to do it when the time was right.  The lawn that they put in is beautiful.  The auto-water system turned out to be more of a challenge than expected as it was a homegrown job that had been inoperable for a number of years, but they kept with it until it was working.  These guys did a great job with the work I requested.   It took a little longer than initially expected due to the irrigation system, but they always told me when they would be back and showed up when expected.  I would (and will) use them again.

First, they came out for a free consultation, giving us lower maintenance ideas with native plants and dry-scaping. Although the estimated cost wasn't as low as we had hoped, we really liked what they proposed and felt they were very knowledgeable and honest,  so we decided to go ahead with them. They came out on time and their work was extremely efficient. They took out our old backyard lawn and replaced with some native plants that don't need much maintenance efforts, and installed drip irrigation with a timer box. This will save a lot of water!  They also installed a small fountain with LED ligthing which doesn't need too much electricity or replacing light bulbs. They estimated the work would take about 5 days with 2 people, but ended up finishing in 4 days. We are happy with the results, and all of our friends give us compliments!!

Update - Now a few months after installation, our garden is looking fabulous! We get so many compliments and everybody wants to know what company we hired. Since they completed the work, we contacted them at a few occasions as we had questions regarding the equipment and plants. They are very responsive to our inquiries and always try to assist us. We are so glad that we found this great company and plan to do more work in the future.
