    Good Peebles Tile
I have never dealt with a more thorough, honest, professional, attentive, and talented contractor. Matt completely remodeled my bathroom. Converted the tub into a beautiful walk in shower, removed a wall dividing the bathroom and did drywall patching, changed vanity and toilet and added a bidet toilet seat. Everything went smoothly, on time and turned out exactly as I expected. Matt truly takes pride in his work and is very meticulous and cares about the end product. He eliminated some bad tiles without me even asking. He adjusted his work hours to accommodate our work hours. He even went to the extent of taking all of the empty boxes left from tile, vanity as a courtesy. Choosing Good Peebles Tiles as your contractor for your bathroom renovation is the best decision you'll make. I would recommend him to ANYONE, friends and family alike! Can't wait to call him for our next bathroom renovation.

Sharon - what a nice guy! He arrived punctually. He spent an adequate amount of time reviewing my needs and wants and also had great suggestions. He allowed all of the time I needed for any and all questions - very informative! He was easy to talk with and I felt comfortable and at ease with him as soon as he arrived and began explaining the process we would go through for the quote as well as the process if I were to go through the remodeling process. Unfortunately the quote was more than I had planned and budgeted to spend so at this time I am not moving forward - not a reflection of the time spent or the quote.

Rayshon was very professional he picked everything out from start to finish. He sat down with us and went over what he thought would look amazing in the house and he was in fact right! Ray and his employees took our outdated bathrooms and kitchens and turned them into something amazing! Each day until work was completed his employees showed up on time and were very respectful and always shared updates with us! I would definitely utilize his services again in the future!. He also picked out an amazing backsplash that complimented and set everything off! I've never been happier with the decision to remodel instead of moving out of the home I've been in for quite some time. Thank you Rayshon and advance solutions.

Green Works Construction & Design Inc
I made the initial call last week and it took 3 days for them to call me back and set up an appt for this past Sunday and then they called me on Friday to tell me they can't make it and they have to reschedule.  I made an appointment for Tuesday at 5 pm and they called me on Monday to tell me that they can come at 10 am because that is when the contractor would be in the area and be available to do the estimate.   I told them I would be unavailable during the day and my wife works and we need to be home together to do this.  He then told me that they were really busy and they can't accommodate our schedule.  They didn't seem like they really cared about our business.

As stated before, we contacted this place only because it was on Angie's List. This representative, "Ray" came to our home and wasted our time. First of all gave us bad information about not using ceramic tile in our bathroom... talked with other experts who had never heard of such a thing. Secondly, this guy told us he would give us a quote in a week!!! Why so long!!? We waited because we really wanted the job done. Weeks passed and no contractor or quote. Tried to follow up and give these peolple a chance to redeem themselves. Nothing... Was unable to reach the company. They changed the number or something. It was a very strange and a bit scary encounter. We don't know who these people were that came to our home... Not good.

So I needed some help with finishing a and quot;do it yourselfand quot; kitchen remodel that i totally messed up. Not only did Todd fix that, I was so impressed I had him do complete remodels of both our bathrooms and they look AMAZING! Finally an honest contractor. This review is long overdue. Todd and his team are simply the best I have ever dealt with. I will no longer be and quot;doing it myselfand quot; as it costs more and looks worse in the long run. Thank you Todd and pass along my thanks to your team.

Carlos was the only contractor that responded to work with REMNANT pieces of granite.  (They were big, but due to the fragility of the slabs, most contractors do not want to take the risk of the many potential problems.)  He came and gave us a bid, and we set up a date.  (This was actually stored at my home, but was to be installed at my place of business.)  There was some confusion about where the slabs were, and where to meet, but cell phones worked it all out just fine.  The first problem that came up, was the remnants were sun faded in an uneven manner, even though it was stored in shade.  (Time got away from me, and it had been FIVE YEARS since this original slab was installed!)   The part that was underneath, shaded, was all shiny, but the rest was very dull.  Carlos' guys polished it all to dull, then added a sealer to make it all shine evenly.  This was above the call of duty in my opinion.  (I had no idea it was sun damaged until we got them out and cleaned up.)  Next, there was a small crack developing in a strategic place that couldn't be avoided.  They put a glue/epoxy that held it together.  I was shocked at how nice it turned out.  They did a great job.  That said, if you are working with remnents, I recommend his team, but you need to realize there is risk involved, and be willing to bear the burden of that risk.  (Use your remnents asap!)

    Payless Handyman
I did countless hours of research and read all the reviews and Les was the first contractor I contacted to give me an estimate. He was very pleasant on the phone. He was running a few minutes late and he called before hand to let me know he was stuck in traffic. I appreciated the update since I took off an hour early for work so I can meet with him at 5 pm. By the time I would've gotten home it would've been 6 pm and I didn't want to meet with contractors late. Les arrived as he was very professional, nice and gave us many helpful tips and suggestions which I appreciated.
To be honest, he asked me what my budget was. I wasn't comfortable with that because it's like going to a car dealership and letting the salesperson know how much you're willing to spend. I just wanted to know what his estimate was. He never measured anything nor brought any paperwork. I was clear that I wanted a 2 bathroom remodel and that I wanted one contractor to complete the job because I am a working professional that does not have time to hire different worker for each job (paint, tile, installation of new vanity, tub/shower, vent, etc). He is very detailed in which I liked and I felt comfortable he would get the job done right. Unfortunately, he never gave me numbers of a range on what it would cost. I figured he needed time to write the estimate and Les told me that he would write up an itemized list of what the project would cost. LAs soon as he left, I told him that I would email him my Excel chart that I created before hand on what projects I wanted and prioritized them. I was prepared by having photos of ideas for the remodel. He requested to email him the photos, so I zipped up the files and my chart and emailed him immediately because I was eager for his estimate. He didn't tell me when I would expect a response back but it's been since Tuesday.
He never replied to my estimate nor replied to my email. Les was at my house for nearly 2.5 hours ranting and raving about how great him & his sons are and bragging about his reviews on Angie's list and Google. He even explained to me why he didn't get the number #1 local review. I wasn't interested in that as I just wanted him to give me numbers. It was more of a marketing estimate rather than the details of my home.  This I already knew, since that is why I contacted him.
I even gave him the coupon for the free estimate on Angie's list. I was prepared and willing to spend money but I suppose my job was too small for him to give me an estimate or perhaps I didn't tell him how much money I had to get the project done. The least he could've done was respond to my email and tell me if he was not interested in working on my house. He mentioned big commercial jobs that he did for Nike and KFC. His contact info is a bit misleading as I thought he would do smaller home projects. In sum, waste of time. He didn't need my money and that is okay as I just signed on to a different contractor who actually gave me an written estimate. Be prepared to listen to him brag. Wasted each other's time but I got some helpful tips from him. Nice guy but he made me feel miniscule. I was also interested in having him to a room addition.

    The Kitchen Post

Even from the initial contact, Randy was very professional and nice. He provided me price comparisons on the options, and sent me to the store where the granite countertop was going to be purchased. The lady at that store was also very friendly and professional, and I gained a lot of information about the kitchen installation process.

The installers arrived on time come installation day, and they did a good job. I am very pleased with the way my kitchen remodel turned out. I have recommended them to co-workers living in my area, and will continue to do so.

    Birdsall Construction & Remodeling
They just started on Monday. The work is in progress right now. Things have been progressing very well. Actually, we're very satisfied. With renovation and rough materials the cost was $10500. Obviously, we had to buy additional fixtures and tiling and all the other stuff. Our experience with them has been good so far. He has been attentive and he met us at the tile store on time. He has shown up. I've only communicated with Jim Birdsall who is the owner. He is absolutely professional. The pricing is average.
