    Avi's Discount Roofing
Avi and his team showed up on time and as promised! They were very hard working from start to finish! They got the roof torn off and replaced in 2 days which is lightening fast! All the workers cleaned up after themselves and worked the full day without any breaks so the roof would be done before the rained started in the evening ! Avi and his team were excellent and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new roof!

    Cobex Construction Group
Excellent. My wife and I contracted with Cobex Construction Group to make improvements, upgrades and repairs to our home in the Ridgewiew Neighborhood El Dorado Hills. The house is a one of one design by the architect owner that we have owned for 4 years. My review will be in several parts because the projects will take time during the winter months. I can't say enough good things about their estimating and contracting process, workmanship and follow up on all aspects of the work. From the beginning, getting an initial estimate and many discussions about what would look best from design through construction was informative and excellent. Everything was covered, no guess work and full disclosure if there were issues spotted and how we wanted to proceed. The project consisted of updating the kitchen with new Quartzite surfaces and some appliances. The Quartzite is a natural stone from Brazil and the backslash is glass subway tile that we purchased from Bedrosians. We had the electrical switches and plugs updated with Legrand Adorna. A new Sharp drawer microwave, Bosch dishwasher and a GE Profile cook top hood. The microwave required cabinet modifications and the hood required cutting the stone surround to fit the vent which it was done perfectly. The cabinet modifications were completed with precision and even the touch up paint for the farm house cabinets matched perfectly. Our kitchen had solid granite counter tops that were installed when the house was new, 2001. The counter tops had seams in the granite that went through the sinks and were not level or really match up. The COBEX crew came in an put down heavy duty paper to protect our Hickory floors. They put up a sheet plastic wall around the kitchen to keep the dust from going into the dining area and family room. They removed all of the granite counter tops, the island and back splash behind the cook top. Afterward, everything was spotlessly vacuumed up and taken away. Next they put down new plywood counter top base and backer board for the tile back splash, nearly 70 SQ feet. They made all of their templates and off to the fabricator. The fabricator returned and removed more of the stone surround for the cook top and one wall cabinet. He had fabricated the counters all, without any seams. He and his crew worked tirelessly to fit these huge pieces in perfectly. FYI. The quartzite is a very hard natural stone and it took extra time to cut and shape. The tile setter did an amazing job with the glass subway tile and moving the electrical boxes to a high level on the wall. It sparkles and looks fantastic. We stood in the kitchen just admiring the stone and the craftsmanship. We had a party several weeks ago and everyone was impressed with the kitchen and their amazing craftsmanship. We had all of the rain gutters replaced as the old one were in poor shape. The COBEX construction group had the sub contractor measure everything and consulted me all along the way. After the gutters were installed, Alex from COBEX walked the entire perimeter with the gutter fabricator to insure everything was perfect. We also had the eaves inspected for dry rot, the COBEX crew came though, stripped back 2 rows of tile, removed the damaged areas and replaced everything very nicely. Alex walked the entire roof with the sub-contractor to follow up on all of the repairs and to insure everything was perfect. During the inspection of the eaves it was discovered that the two side garage doors were damaged and had dry rot in the frames. Alex offer options of repairing the casing or replacing the doors. I opted for the replacement doors and new frames. The COBEX crew worked quickly and the installation was perfect and they work better than the original doors. They cleaned everything perfectly and we would not know they had been there. They replaced some broken tile and I can say after the recent rain everything works perfectly. The next phase involves repairing and all of the exterior settling cracks and painting the two story home with a 3 color paint scheme. Installing a full sized French door in the family room that leads to the center patio from the family room. There will be curved steps to matching the existing decking. There will be replacement of a large picture window and 2 panel sliders that have lost their seal. The glass is low E and it comes in a variety of colors. Alex had the owner of the glass company come and determine the best color match. Alex did not leave anything to chance. Last will be the upgrade of the 2 HVAC units in a very tight a difficult area. I'll be writing as these next projects get completed. With the rainy weather it will take a little longer. Alex, Vaz and the COBEX team are fantastic and respond to every email or question we have had.

Estimate was prompt, and the crew arrived on time and completed on schedule. They found additional dry rot, which they repaired at a very reasonable time and materials rate. There was some mis-communication about some tiles that needed replacing, but a phone call resulted in a prompt response that made it right. Friendly folks, good customer service.

    Straight Line Construction
The workers arrived on schedule, were easy to communicate with, worked through the day, and kept us apprised of anything they thought we needed to know (e.g. when they left briefly to buy a part at a local store). We were very impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. They were careful with my plants, didn't use any bad language and cleaned up everything afterwards.--We will use this company again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for gutter replacements.--Our gutters look GREAT now and work much better than the old ones.

    Straight Line Construction
First off let me say that we have dealt with many companies and contractors in the remodeling of our El Dorado Hills home. These guys rank up there with the best! From the first time that we spoke with Jack to the last crew to leave the property their communication was fantastic. We knew exactly who was coming and when they were coming. Full tear-off of our existing roof and the yard was spotless after. The new roof looks fantastic and we are very confident in Straight Line and their craft. We look forward to using them on projects for years to come.

Jason came as promised at the right time, reviewed my home gutter work, wrote an estimate and cleaned out the gutter with high degree of professionalism. His work was high quality - cleaned up all the trash in the gutter and ensured the place is left with no mess after the work is done. He also took time to caulk/seal in one of the areas that I requested for.
    Great Job!

    J Ratch Construction Inc
Jeff, was extremely quick to respond to my inquiry.  Came out and evaluated the situation and gave a very clear and concise description of what the issue was, what it would take to repair, and helped find a mutually convenient time in the very near future due to the urgency of the leak.  He was professional, helpful, and didn't make me feel dumb for not knowing the roofing business which I really appreciated.  His price was very comparable and the crew was polite and did a really good job of cleaning up (no garbage or piles of random nails laying around).
Would DEFINITELY use J Ratch again for our future roofing needs!

    Cal-Vintage Roofing Co Inc
They were extremely professional and I appreciated how communicative they were throughout the entire process.   We pushed our date back until after 1/1 because we wanted to have our lights up through Christmas.  They were very understanding and coordinated the removal of our pool's solar equipment from our roof with a third part along with it's replacement once completed.  I appreciated that extra piece of service.
It was a real pleasure coming home every day and seeing the yard cleaned of debris and all of their tools put away at the side of the house.   If it wasn't for the roof going through the stages of being rebuilt, you wouldn't have known there was any work being done on the house let alone something the scale of a roofing project.   We did a major expansion to our kitchen three years ago and you could tell simply by looking at the front yard.
Great people, great professionalism and great quality work.

Roof Life Co of Northern California Inc

I wanted to wait until we?ve had plenty of rain before I provided a review of work done in November. We had some ceiling damage due to a leak in the roof and contacted Roof Life. I spoke to someone on the first call and scheduled an estimate the next week. They came out on schedule and provided an estimate. The estimator found numerous issues that were causing water to get into the ceiling. They arrived as scheduled and spend 8-9 hours replacing damaged tar paper with newer materials, widening gutters, repairing sky light flashings, repairing cracked tiles and cleaning the gutters. They were very professional, energetic and hard working.

Now that we?ve had El Niño for a couple of months, I?m very happy with the results. We?ve had not leaks at all. I would recommend them to my neighbors.
