    I would not recommend him. He is okay, but not great. His staff is not very friendly. They do not get me in on time for my appointments. He could get friendlier staff and he could be on time. The waiting room is clean and looks fine. There is no issue with the physical office itself. It is just the staff not being friendly and they are always late. It is just not a pleasant experience.

    Oh my Gosh! Dr. Kim and staff are wonderful. Everyone is friendly and courteous and the procedures could not have been any quicker. Dr. Kim described every step as he used the laser on my eyes. I felt extremely safe and cared for.

    The exam was pretty much what I would have expected except that I was put in a room just off the lobby where people were milling around looking at glasses frames and talking to the person at the desk, and so on and the doctor left the door wide open while I was having my exam which was really distracting. and kind of awkward. I also found out only once I had gotten through most of the exam, that he was not going to dilate my pupils that day, so I'd need to make a separate appointment to do that. This was not just an inconvenience, but meant that one of my concerns about some symptoms I had been experiencing could not really be checked that day.

    I did get my new glasses prescription and don't question the quality of the work that was done but just didn't feel comfortable with the general approach to my appointment.

    Dr. Reed was thorough and professional for all services - my initial eye exam was to determine if I would be a good candidate for LASIK.  After the exam, I scheduled surgery.  The surgery was performed with a minor issue that was resolved in another appointment.  I have been TOTALLY happy with the results for over 9 years!!

    Dr. Baer provided an excellent eye exam, my problem is with the billing person. I was billed for a condition that I did not have and had never seen the doctor for. The billing person was not willing to retract the diagnosis and was extremely confrontational in our discussion. They mis-billed to my insurance company and were unwilling to admit to the mistake.

    Very good experience. There was a patient ahead of me that they and quot;squeezed inand quot; so it did delay my appointment a little but, not bad. The entire staff was very congenial and I was impressed with the thoroughness of the exam. Dr. Taylor was very nice, knowledgeable and explained all details of the exam findings. I will continue to use this office as my regular opthamologist.

    He was very professional and patient. He explained everything and spent a lot of time with me during my appointment with regards to fitting contact lenses and discussing the different options available. The doctor is a nice gentleman.

    I made an appoiontment to see this doctor in late Nov or early Dec. I was expecting to have an appointment in Feb or March because the reviews said he was such a busy doctor and is very good. When I called I informed the receptionist that I had VSP insurance plus medicare and blue cross and the benefit coverage started Jan 2013 When I requested a Feb or March appointment she asked why I wanted an appointment in Feb when she could set me up in January. I was surprised and happy that they could accomodate me so fast. The receptionist gave me an appointment for January 8th at 8:15 am. I requested a later in the day appointment but was told he likes new patients early. So we got up early on Jan 8th and when we got to his office everyone was in a staff meeting. My husband told them I had an appointment and they checked the calendar and insisted that it was Feb 8th. not Jan 8th.
    I've been known to make mistakes but never with a doctor. I repeat the date and the time when I am making the appointment so that there is never a mistake and I did repeat to the receptionist the date and the time and in this case I was willing to take an appointment in March or April and the receptionist insisted that January would be ok.
    I can't say how good this doctor is because I cancelled the appointment for Feb 8th and made an appointment with another optomolbist in Folsom. I'm not happy getting up at the crack of dawn to see a doctor especially when my leg is in a cast and then find that the office is closed.

    This was my second appointment with Dr. Taylor. My appointment was at 11:15 a.m.and I've arrived about 5 mins early. They let me wait in the lobby after signing in for about 30-40 mins. Finally, a nurse called my name and took me to the room, worked with me on some information and told me that the Dr. Taylor will be right with me. Half hour has passed by and I was starting get worried since I had only taken an hour off from work expecting that the appointment would not take more than an hour specially for an eye procedure that takes only 5 mins. total. The doctor finally finished up with the prior patient. That was an hour later! I couldn't believe that I spent almost 2 hours for just a 5 mins procedure. I was really frustrating!!!
    My first appointment with Dr. Taylor was very frustrating too. The waiting time always seems to be the major problem there.

    The woman at the front desk seemed to be doing it all. Welcoming us in and taking our healthcare and vsp information. Then going to the back and taking a few eye pressure test. I requested a referral to a retinal doctor because of previous eye problems and about 15 minutes later was provided a specialist name and phone number. The entire office seemed a little confused. They did not have a brochure, did not have a business card for a retinal specialist. Although the doctors and staff are nice enough. I personally feel that I like the receptionist to be a receptionist and not fill in for checking eye pressure.
