    Rivard's Earthworks, Inc.
I am currently involved in LITIGATION with Rivard's Earth Works. I would NOT RECOMMEND this contractor to anyone! I was a Novice/New on Driveway Construction and Relied on Mr. Rivard's Expertise as a Contractor to build the Driveway according to Plans and Permits.

    Pavers Made Possible

We had three bids and Ken impressed us with his knowledge and confidence in his service. He was right: his pricing was highly competitive and we loved the end result. His project manager, Jordan, was always available and responsive -- as was Ken - if we ever needed any questions answered.

Ken and Jordan helped us select the stone pavers and as the project was underway, their vision was right-on. When the project was over, we could see their choice was an excellent match to our home's style.

Ken took the time to listen and his crew worked extremely hard. We are thrilled with the results, and plan to use his company when we have a retainer/ seating wall done in our yard.

Most of it went very well. Tony has a great personality and has good subs in general -- some more deliberate and perfectionist in nature than others. But we were able to communicate to him what we deemed properly done and what fell short during the process, then adjust things as we went. Both of us are at home full time (one retired and the other running a business from home), so we were able to be engaged in the entire process. He was aware of our own anal-retentive natures and was able to go with the flow, not become defensive, and respond appropriately to our reactions. This is actually a VERY important quality in a contractor.

From the moment he arrived, we knew we had hired the right guy for the job. Waldo's attention to detail was second to none, even if it meant working until dark. It took three days (a day longer than planned) to do all the work and grade the backyard using a Bobcat so skillfully that it was downright entertaining to watch him in action. My husband volunteered to rake up debris here and there to help things move along, but he mostly just wanted to be out there, helping the magic happen because he enjoyed Waldo's efforts and expertise. I cannot speak highly enough of this guy. Professional, engaging, honest, and a true artist judging by the way he left our yard.
When we go to hire a contractor to install our landscape and prepare trenches for irrigation, we will do our best to get Waldo back here for any and all other jobs he does, even if that means hiring him separately. If you choose Waldo, you've picked a winner!

He was a nice vendor and came out to give me an estimate. He gave me a quote for $23,000 for the work. I had 3 other engineers come out and looked at the foundation. They told me for the age of my home my foundation was in great and no work needed to be done.

These rocks would likely run upwards of $1,500 to purchase and bring out to my home. First person I called said it would be cheaper to just buy new rocks. Then I found Waldo. From the start he felt it would be no problem and after looking at the job said he would do it for his minimum charge. Took about 2.5 hours to get these rocks moved and in place, Waldo made sure I was completely happy with placement. I would absolutely use his services again.

Professional, punctual, proposal provided clear scope of work. The estimate was to raise foundation on a portion of a 1942 home that had settling issues  We ended up using another provider but would consider them for possible other renovations.

We had some odd shape planter boxes that were using up a lot of free space on our side yard.  It took Justin about 1 day per side of the house to level and remove the dirt.  He also used the backhoe attachment to dig the footer for our retaining wall.  It was so nice to have it done in 2 days time.  it would have taken a few men several weeks to dig by hand and probably several headaches trying to figure out what to do with the dirt.  Our lawn suffered a little from the bobcat wheels tearing it up, but that is just a small price to pay for having it done so quickly.  I wouldn't hesitate to have Justin do more work for us.

    Tom's Concrete
We had a large tree root that was lifting up the concrete and  could  become a danger to those walking.  Tom and his crew removed, repaired and replaced two sections of the driveway.  He started around 8:30 and was finished around noon.  We are very happy with the work and definitely will use him again.

I was impressed with the professionalism of a company and individuals who could have sold us a big repair job on our foundation. Instead they told us that it was structurally sound and that the brick was cosmetic and actually showcased the period of the house. They advised not to attempt to level the brick (cosmetic fix) as it might negatively impact the value of the home. I will definately call them in the future for the things that are sure to go wrong with a "period" home.
