    Service technician was punctual, friendly, and capable. The service took about one hour, for which the charge was just under $200, which is not a bargain. Company was good about communication and delivered as expected.

    Sears Appliance Repair
    Repair man came. Said lid was loose. Used an electric screwdriver to tighten four screws. Total time elapsed: 60 seconds. For this I was charged $175! Then he spent 30 more minutes trying to talk me into signing up for a Sears Home Warranty. After this total rip-off experience, I will never call Sears again.

    I called on Monday afternoon to schedule an appointment for my LG refrigerator repair. The scheduler was friendly and professional. The tech, Rich, arrived the next day on time! He was courteous, professional, knowledgable and talented. The repairs were completed quickly, and all is well. I would highly recommend Lake Appliance to anyone needed repairs.

    The Lake Appliance technician, Paul, was very professional and courteous. Paul informed me the compressor was quite expensive but felt that GE may well replace the item per the owner's manual.  I fully expected to pay for a house call, approximately $90.00 and was not charged.  I am so impressed with Lake Appliance that I will not hesitate to call them first should I have another appliance fail.

    A day earlier I had another appliance repair company to the house.  The technician was polite, but totally unprofessional.  He didn't even have a step-ladder and asked me for a chair so that he could check the refrigerator.  He then misdiagnosed the repair, stating that I needed an electronic board for the repair.  I looked over his estimate to repair the refrigerator and balked at the $390.00 estimate for labor to install the electronic board.  This was in addition to the $400 price he wanted for the board.  I questioned the suggested charges.   The warranty offered by this company was 'weak' compared to what Lake Appliance would have offered.  The competitor also told me that he would give us an additional 5% discount on labor if I would write a 5 star review for his company!  TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL   I paid the technician for the service call and walked him to the door.  Good riddance!!

    I have the utmost faith in Lake Appliance and will not hesitate to call them should I need appliance repair.  Believe me, I will share my positive feelings with friends and neighbors towards Lake Aopliance.  I will also share my negative feelings towards the competitor well as the name of the competitor. I will also write reviews on YELP for both companies.

    I must say I sat on this for a long time, prior to posting. I must say I was very excited about a custom stainless steel back-splash to include in my kitchen remodel. I coordinated this effort to purchase this through a reputable bath and kitchen distributor. It took several weeks to hear back, but it finally arrived. Sent the check and the back-splash was picked up by the contractor. Once installed and the blue protective top covering removed, a dent was noticed. I immediately called the bath and kitchen distributor, who then called Appliance Depot. Several weeks later, I called again. Finally, I heard back from Appliance Depot and was told, he would replace the stainless steel back-splash for another $200. What the heck���so basically, they are asking me to pay again for a product they provided which was dented. Essentially, I would be paying $550.00 for a 30��� x 30��� back-splash, which by the way, was my second choice, because my first choice would have taken 3-months to receive and I did not want to wait that long for my kitchen to be done. For those who cook, I am sure you can understand��� With that said, I would not recommend purchasing your stainless steel back-splash from Appliance Depot. They do not stand by their products and take a long time to respond. At some point in time, I will be replacing the back-splash, because every time I look at it, it disgusts me that a company would not stand by their product. Here is my review of Appliance Depot: - Responsiveness ��� Slow - Value Customer Service ��� No - Standby their products - No - Recommendation ��� Do not recommend

    Explained that repair might be one of two solutions but wouldn't know for sure until less expensive of two repairs was attempted. After considering total cost to fix, I decided not to repair since refrigerator is 8 years old.

    Best Appliance Repair Service
    Best Appliance was recommended by another repair service whose schedule was too full to accommodate us. Was able to schedule an appointment pretty quickly for the initial assessment (within a day or two as I recall). Scheduler was very friendly. Technician was very professional. We did have to wait 3-4 business days before the Samsung dryer part came in (which we were told about up front). I called a few times to check on the status of the part, and was treated politely over the phone. Once the part arrived, it was another couple of days before there was an available technician to come back to install it. Overall, we were pleased with the level of service provided.

    Justin came and was very nice and professional. He was in and out in 30min. The dryer had been screeching so loud the neighbors could hear it. I called and actually got a same day appointment!! I am very glad to have it fixed!!

    Swift Service
    I was assigned to swift services by lg because my fridge stopped working.  They came out to fix it and I told them that a previous repair company had diagnosed the compressor as needing to be replaced.  Swift service said the compressor was fine and I had a leak in the coolant.  I waited 3 days for the special due to come in and they installed it and 2 days later the fridge stopped working again.  They came back and said it was the compressor ( no surprise).  They ordered the compressor and came back to install it.  They tried to install it but the their employee said it was hard to install because he didn't have the right solder but he said he would keep trying.  After three hours he fixed it and said it should work.  Upon getting up we both noticed he had burned holes in my wood floor.  I took pictures and contacted the companies owner.  Meanwhile the fridge stopped working again because all the gas leaked out were he tried to solder it because it didn't do it right (his words).  I contacted LG and told them about my experience with the company and they agreed to replace the fridge.  The owner of the company told me to get a quote for the floor which I did.  I told him the quote and he tries to talk me down.  I said no and he agreed but refused to pay me all at once.  After a few more calls to the owner he said "I don't care about you @&$&* floor.  Do you really need money that bad?"  Then he hung up.  I put together a small claims suit and discovered the address in his website is not even a real address.  I sent him a small claims demand letter and he finally paid for the floors.  This has been the worst company.  They couldn't fix the fridge and they have been unresponsive and rude.

    Sebastians Appliance Repair
    My washing machine stopped working on Sunday March 13. I submitted an online request to inquire about service. Since it was Sunday, I did not expect to receive a call back from someone until Monday however Sebastian contacted me on Sunday to schedule an appointment for Monday morning. He arrived on time and quickly diagnosed and resolved the problem. I am extremely pleased with the responsiveness and quality of service provided by Sebastian.
