    Audio Design
    I provided the M2Pro unit by Mobridge, purchased from a southern california dealer. I tried to do the upgrade myself, but got lost in the fiber optic connectors in my Porsche. Decided this was best left to a professional. The original MoBridge install (wired, not wireless) was done by Audio Design in SJ as that was closer to my then work. Stevens Creek Porsche across the street recommended these guys, and with my previous experience I felt I'd be in good hands. 
     The manager, Mike, knew exactly what I was asking for, even though I showed up with a box in hand and exposed wires under my dash, he wasn't deterred. He knew the part numbers off the top of his head better than I did. It helped, I suppose, that he has the same model car as me. We agreed to a price estimate and time. It was explained to me the estimate did not cover installation incidentals such as connectors or wires which might be needed as-discovered during the installation. As it was, there was no additional charge (perhaps because i was supplying the installation kit).
    I provided 1/2 the estimate as a down payment. They explained that this was to hold my installer reservation (for later that week), & that no-shows were expensive for a small shop. Seeing as they had limited bays for work, I was happy to be able to hold my space & time. Fair enough and up-front and I was committed so no problem. 
    On drop-off on the morning of the reservation, they were ready to begin on my car immediately. There were other vehicles being serviced, so this showed good work planning and customer attention. I wasn't asked to wait.  The installer, Marcos, went to my car with me and we discussed installation options, esp. vis., the microphone for the bluetooth phone (and Siri) integration. He suggested a great place which didn't involve wiring inside my headliner and was easily reversible and unobtrusive. He likewise helped with a great location for the auxilary audio and charging plug terminal that I hadn't considered.  I was very happy with his recommendation. 
    The job was done promptly and they called as I was enroute to come back as scheduled to tell me that it was done and waiting for me. They offered to help me pair my phone and go through the operation of the new unit, but I knew how to do all that and declined the help. I had one warning screen that I noticed after I left, which I referenced at the MoBridge website, and it was inconsequential. Mike & Marcos didn't mention that, but had I taken them up on their offer for help being familiar with the unit, I'm sure it would have been covered.  All my parts from the upgrade were returned in the box I'd provided and we had a nice chat about future enhancements and other car-guy chat.  Mike also offered to extend a discount to anyone at my company if i spread the word about my satisfaction. 
    The price was fair (less than the install of the original),  the work was good and prompt and as-promised and of quality befitting my car. They have earned my repeat business and are and will be my go-to guys for automotive audio/visual installs.

    Their service is good. I have been happy with their work. They have really good mechanics and their prices are good. They are not too expensive but will also not be the cheapest. They provide quality work. They also will assist with transportation to the shop and back. They are very knowledgeable and   I will continue to use them because I will know they will do a good job.

    CAREFUL.the car came out of the wash with a flat tire, the manager disappeared right away and was gone and nowhere to be found, with "no phone" to contact him. I gave up after 2 hours of waiting. it was a cut on the side of the tire, classic damage from the washing tracks. this type can not be fixed and I had to buy a new tire. they refuse to take responsibility. unusually rude staff

    I would recommend them. His name is Calvin Tong. He is excellent. I don't even want to tell anybody about him because he is so good. I have used him over the years many times. I like him because he is extremely thorough. If there is a problem, he finds out exactly what it is. He is straightforward. He tells the truth. He is extremely competent. I trust him completely. He is great. I trust him with my life because my car has to be working right. I face getting problems on highways when people are going 75 miles an hour. I think it is extremely important what mechanics you use on your vehicles. He is the one I go to. His price is reasonable. I don't have to go there 2 or 3 times to fix the same problem. If I go there, he fixes the problem and it's fixed. Mechanics are expensive. He is very busy unfortunately. It takes as long as it needs to take. He never promises something and then doesn't deliver.

    Chris is a very experienced owner/mechanic with a deep understanding of the VW/Audi line. He took the time to make sure all my concerns were met by asking questions and giving me details as we went. He was very proactive and used electronic communications very well, so that trips down to the shop were limited to the initial interview, drop-off, and pickup. All work was done to a very high standard. The shop rates are reasonable and charges were well described in the invoice. Parts were reasonably priced and verified by some internet shopping. Replaced parts were shown to me. We discussed preventative maintenance and laid out a plan to keep my car on the road with reliability.
