Water Heater Repair And Installation reviews in Fairfield

Michael arrived on-time and was very knowledgeable about what work needed to be done. He is clearly a professional and extremely thorough in his repairs and concerns about safety. I would highly recommend Cheapo Plumbing for any work or repairs.

The workmanship is outstanding and exceeds my expectation.
The plastic tubes from the water softener and filtration system are nicely crafted and are strongly fastened to the machines to avoid leakage.  The copper pipes that he used to conduct the water from the front to the back of the house is skillfully placed and secured against the wall of the house.

My tankless water heater broke. I noticed that my old water heater started to slowly leak water. I called the plumber and talked to a man who I assumed to be the owner. He said he will have one of his technicians come to my house and inspect the issue. Then the technician will give me a quote.
About two hours, a man named Cal came to my house. Cal is a young man in his thirties. He was polite and down-to-earth guy. He appeared professional wearing the company uniform and was courteous.  He inspected the water heater. He said the plastic valve has cracked and needed to be replaced. Then he gave me two options. Option one was to replace the value but because of the age of the old water heater, he will not guarantee that the heater will not break down again. Option 2 was to replace the water heater with another tankless water heater but it will be expensive. He quoted me $3,800.00. I was shocked at the price but I expected a new one to be expensive. I took the plunge and agreed to install a new one. Cal said he will begin the work the next day with his apprentice.
They started off their work by removing the old heater. It was attached to the studs on the wall but the new water heater couldn't be reattached to the old mounts so they needed to add new pieces of wood to securely attached the new heater.
Then they worked on the pipes. They removed the old pipes and installed the new ones with five valves. The new pipe configuration is more complicated than the previous. I asked Cal about that and he said this was the proper way to configure the pipes.
Then they installed the new water heater. The new heater is smaller than the original so it looks odd.
Then they installed the gas line. The original gas line for the house was too small for the new water heater so they needed to make a new line for the house. They went outside my house and connected a series of large gas pipes from the main gas line around my house into the room where my heater was at. They used a portable lath to make the proper connections.
They installed a new vent for heater. They went on top of the roof and installed a new vent.
After making a few adjustments to the heater, it was all finished. Hot water was flowing through my pipes again and I was a happy customer. But, the next day, I noticed that Cal didn't tighten one of the pipe fittings tight enough because water was dripping. I called the company up and he immediately came back to fix their error. He apologized for his mistake.
This was a very expensive job but it was well worth the price. Tankless water heaters are expensive compared to traditional water heaters but it's durability and savings in natural gas makes it a logical choice for me. Cal and his apprentice worked the entire day without taking a lunch break. They worked very hard to make sure I was satisfied paying their company $3,800.00 and I am satisfied.
Will I hire them again? Yes. When I was doing business with this company, I was greeted by a honest man that has done a honest day at work. He and his apprentice worked hard and they expected an honest wage as well. They didn't take any shortcuts and I was more than happy to pay them for their hard work. Even though $3,800.00 was a lot of money for me, I felt it was well worth it.

Very pleased with the entire team. Everyone was very courteous, professional, answered all questions patiently and clearly, and explained all options. Their initial assessment agreed with two other companies that we had in, plus they pointed out some enhancements that they could do. The work was completed faster than anticipated and they cleaned up everything nicely afterwards. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent. Mike and Bryan started on Thursday. We walked through the job and they spent the rest of the day cutting Sheetrock and pre-laying pipe. Friday they gave me plenty of notice before shutting off the water and kept me appraised of their progress throughout the day. 10 hours later I was back on with a new water heater in place. Saturday they came back to remove the original piping and do some additional clean up on the job. Inspection is set for Wednesday and I have no doubts. Workmanship is excellent and they met and exceeded code.

I called this morning and he came out this morning. It ended up being an easy fix. His estimate was half of what a previous company had quoted me. It was a very reasonable price to come out. Also, the water heater is 2.5 years old and I hadn't drained it yet. I asked him if he could drain it for me while he was there and he charged me only 10 extra dollars. He was great about understanding I wanted to feel comfortable to do it myself the next time, so he showed me how to do it. He put a sticker on my tank for the date and let me know when to do it again. I will be completely comfortable draining it myself in the future. He was pleasant, polite and professional.

Last time I had a heater replaced, I went with a large applicance retailer, waited all day and lost a day of pay. I then got nickelled and dimed to death with "bringing it up to code costs." Matt also took the old busted heater away for no additional cost and cleaned up after himself. I'm telling you WHM Rocks! You won't go wrong with these guys. I can honestly say I have found a plumber for all my household needs from now on.

My tankless water heater stopped working so I called my insurance, American Home Shield, to get a professional to fix the problem. They got Graydon Kouri Plumbing Heating A/C to do the job. They were fast, they do same day service. When the repairperson first came to my house and saw my tankless water heater, he said they don't repair tankless heaters (that's hard to believe) but they said they will give it a shot. They did. They found that my pilot light was not working properly so they cleaned it and now it works again. The repairperson was both professional and down-to-earth in his talk. For me, a good job is half getting the job done right and the other half is communication. They done a great job repairing but the communication to keep me comfortable with a stranger in my house wasn't the best. However, I would hire them again. Well worth the money spent.
