FI setup an appointment for an estimate before service was to be completed and they never showed up. I called and was told they didn't show up because they do not service my area. I would not have been upset if I was told that up front but they didn't try calling to tell me anything and just didn't show up.

AGARY'S SMALL ENGINE REPAIRI received a used lawn mower from a friend, and it had not been used in over a year. I found Gary's Small Engine Repair on Angie's List and telephoned him to inquire about scheduling a repair. Gary was extremely helpful - he suggested that I bring in the mower for him to look at, provided me with his hours, and the fact that he was open on a Saturday was a huge plus. I brought the mower to him and he provided me with an estimate for trouble-shooting and tuning it up. The repair was completed in less than a week, and he called me to let me know that my mower was ready to pick up. The estimate was spot on exactly what he quoted, and he cleaned the mower also. I was pleased to know that in addition to repairs, he also sells refurbished equipment, which will come in handy when I am ready to add to may lawn maintenance arsenal.- Elizabeth M.

I called him in the morning to set up a time for him to come to my house and he came promptly at the time we agreed to later that day. AAvery Mobile ServicesTony came up to our home in the Santa Cruz Mountains to repair our lawn mower. We had put off repairing the mower because it is so hard to get it into our car and the last time we'd had it serviced (not repaired), the shop had kept it for two months. We live pretty far from most of the Peninsula and it is not easy to get repair people to come up here. So a mobile service was a welcome service. Tony arrived on time, cheerful and ready to work. Within a half hour, he had our mower working again. Tony was courteous, friendly and did a super job at a very reasonable price. He clearly knows what he is doing! We will definitely call him again.
