ALAVISH GARDENS LANDSCAPELavish Gardens was a pleasure to work with and they were very amenable to revising their proposal for me multiple times as I reprioritized the jobs I wanted to get done first. Mike came out to look over the work and do the original estimate and he was great to work with. He gave me some ideas on what I could do and didn’t try to upsell me on things I didn’t need. The week before the work started Russell and Ivan came out to walk the job and I felt very comfortable and knew exactly what would be happening. The week of the job they kept me posted on timing, work accomplished, and work left to be done. I never had to ask for updates and when the crew was at my house they worked hard and were very respectful of me and my neighbors. The work was done efficiently and was very well done. They did some extra work that was related to the job because they had the tool there for it and it was such a nice surprise for me. Additionally, they did an excellent job of cleanup and left my property in pristine shape. Specifically, my project included installing a 30 foot + retaining wall as well as installing over a hundred feet of a decomposed granite path. Lavish Gardens was one of the landscape companies I called but they far outshined the other companies in curtesy, responsiveness, and professionalism. I highly recommend Lavish Gardens and I will definitely be calling them for my next landscape project!- Shannon Q.

ALAVISH GARDENS LANDSCAPEWe love Lavish Gardens! When we first moved into our newly built house in Rocklin, the yard was just dirt and weeds. We met with several other landscaping companies, but Mike at Lavish Gardens was by far the most professional. The work that Mike’s company and team did was performed as planned and estimated. The process was stress free and the work was completed on schedule. Mike is very attentive and responsive. He was always available for any questions we had and kept us informed every step of the way. Not to mention, he has a wonderful architect who drew our plans beyond what we could have ever imagined for our backyard. The architect was very helpful in recommending specific plants that, as we requested,were low maintenance and also bright and colorful. They also poured concrete, installed lights, a sprinkler and irrigation system, and a moss rock wall. The result is stunning and beautiful and not something you can get from any other landscaper that we’ve seen in the area. Lavish Gardens really knows their stuff. For example, we had a sudden drainage issue on a slope due to the home builder, and Lavish Gardens was able to install a drainage system that immediately solved the problem. We are thrilled how our backyard turned out and would definitely recommend Lavish Gardens!- Brooke L.

AJWA LANDSCAPE & CONCRETE CONSTRUCTIONJWA was amazing. The workers were so experienced and professional and we felt involved every step of the way. We had a lot of rock in our backyard and even with the unexpected set backs....John and the rest of the workers kept us informed and did everything they could to keep the cost at the original price. The contract we signed really set out when we paid what we did and the progress was quick and exactly what we hoped for! DHandyman Contractornot well. work was sloppy and not completed. only painted exterior of the stairs, left the bottom runs unpainted and the balcony planks were not firmly attached to the exterior frame. he was suppose to repair some areas of the house with stucco but never did. when I asked him to do a walk through with me, he never showed up. when I called him, he lied and said he was there but that I wasn't. FLAVISH GARDENS LANDSCAPEI received a timely appointment for measurements and my design requests on July 30, 2020. I sent several photos of ideas to Dan Jolly. When I received the written quote via email on August 5, it was outrageously expensive! There were several charges listed for items that we had not discussed nor did I want. It included a contract that they wanted me to sign. It had no design drawings to illustrate what they planned to build for me, so, I had no idea of what I would be signing for except for a very high priced quote. I called the main office and spoke to the receptionist to ask questions about those items. She said she would leave a message for Dan, but never heard back. That was a waste of my time!- Brenda W.

ALAVISH GARDENS LANDSCAPEMany years ago my husband and I hired Lavish Gardens to put up a small retaining wall and install some flagstones in our back yard. Since we were very happy with the work they did at that time, we called them back when we were ready to do some more extensive work. We needed a 35 year old, wooden deck replaced and we needed to re-design our back yard so that it uses less water. We have always found that the Lavish Gardens staff will listen and work with us. The staff at Lavish Gardens Landscape were all great: From the President/Owner of Lavish Gardens [Michael] to the site supervisor [Ivan ] to the office staff [Michelle] they were all responsive, courteous and personable. We were extremely happy with the final results of this project. The stonework was fabulous and it blended in with the existing hardscape we already had. This project also accomplished our goal of using less water in our backyard and requiring less maintenance. I would not hesitate to recommend Lavish Gardens Landscape to our friends or neighbors.- Theresa S.

ALAVISH GARDENS LANDSCAPELavish Gardens did a fabulous job on my front and back landscapes. Erin, the designer, truly listened to what I wanted and designed a beautiful plan. In the front, she incorporated a dry steam creek, lava rock bed, two DG pathways, accent grass with striking plants and lighting. The back has flagstone stepping stones that lead to a DG landing area, matching flagstone patio area for a couch with fire pit all surrounding a kidney shaped center grass with accent lighting. Owner Michael Cole was wonderful to work with. He texted everyday to let me know what was happening that day. Ivan and his crew were incredible. They were courteous, professional, prompt and clean. Work was done on time and I couldn’t be happier with my yard. 5 stars!! Would highly recommend- Suzanne O.

AMike has built an excellent team, both in the office and in the field. The on-site team leader was helpful in every respect if a change was requested and the team always delivered on time ! Mike also provided a helpful brochure to the neighbors and there were no complaints - even during demo process - which was a great blessing. Not only would I hire Lavish Gardens again in a heartbeat, I will be asking Mike back later this year to finish up the front of the property. This has been a great experience all around and I am so pleased with the result. Peace of mind and beauty to relax in, thanks to the wonderful folks at Lavish Gardens.

ALittle did I know that when I went to Ahmad's website on 2-13-20 and filled out his questionnaire....I would be sitting here today a little over a month later with my new front yard. Who would have known that as he was almost completing the journey of this transformation.....life as we knew it would change with the Coronavirus and I would be one of the first counties in California and the US to be "sheltered in place". He did his due diligence and researched if/how he could complete the job, and voila....on 3-19-20.....he gathered his "troops" and worked from sun up to sun down to finish my beautiful yard. We started with a yard that my parents had landscaped 52 years ago and ended with a masterpiece. Ahmad was able to figure out what to do with a gopher population here that no exterminator was able to eradicate...to keeping some of the original plantings for my sentimental purposes that would work with the design. What continually impressed me was Ahmad's vision and his ability to pivot when need be. It was obvious from the beginning of our relationship how artistic we was and his extraordinary knowledge of flowers, plants, soil, drip systems, lighting, etc. From the start we knew what the budget was and he continually made sure to keep me informed every step of the way. Most important to me was that I trusted him!! He is down to earth, so very honest, and.......delivers what he promises....many times over and above! And.....a huge bonus.....everyone in his "crew" is amazing as well! During this sad, chaotic pandemic that we are living today....I am able to walk outside and gaze at my creation and bend down and touch my new flowers and plants.... courtesy of Ahmad.... and feel content and peaceful if even for a moment. Bottom line.....Ahmad Hassan...is an extraordinary landscaper...an honest visionary.....who I now consider a friend for life!

AI needed a portion of my backyard cleared of a tree stump and decorative brick to put in a shed. Gabe and his crew were very skilled and fast as they cleared and leveled the space. They were courteous and cleaned up the rock from the street when they finished. Gabe was so kind in getting me scheduled quickly as a previous contractor had rescheduled me 4 times as other jobs came in. My job was fairly small but I felt like it was just as important as a bigger job. I will be calling them again in the spring to do more work for me. Thank you!

AFrank's service has been excellent. During the initial visit we agreed on work that needed to be done to clean up, repair, weed control, trimming, etc. for the first visit. We then agreed on a weekly visit to mow, rake, trim, weeding, and cleaning for a single monthly charge for which I send them a check. I am very happy with his work. Two staff members show up every Tuesday morning like clockwork. These folks are friendly and do a great job. I am very happy with their work and recommend their services or at least give them a chance to bid on your work requirements.
