AFine Builders IncFine Builders did an amazing job with our condo renovations. My wife and I worked with a project manager, Nir, who was very useful in coordinating by all aspects of the job, mainly because both my wife and I are working more than 40 minutes away from home 6 days a week. If we gone with individual companies for the paint, wood floors, carpenters, etc., the job would have taken a lot more of our time and probably lasted much longer. The reason why I am giving Fine builders this review is because they put the quality of work first above everything. At a certain point, the workers made a mistake in installing the floors, but rather than try to convince us that it’s ok, they immediately told us of the situation and then paid for new supplies themselves. They also went through extra measures to make sure the wood floor in the kitchen was perfect and that we are happy with how they look. There were a few delays during the remodeling, messes left behind during the day and few confusions about general issues, but I think this is normal and part of the remodeling process and seemed to be not bad at all compared to the stories I've heard from friends and relatives. Nir gave us a credit at the end of the remodeling because he wanted us to have the place cleaned up professionally by someone that we wanted (he offered us to bring someone but we wanted to bring them ourselves), so that by itself was a completely great gift that we got from Nir. The fact that the company valued the quality of the work and customer satisfaction so highly counts for a lot. I definitely recommend this company.- Alejandro J.

AD C KEETON HOME IMPROVEMENTSAfter tons of research, we decided to hire David and his subs to do a major remodel on our home. Roofing, new kitchen, hardwood floors, painting interior and exterior. Let me tell you that you don't meet these types of people everyday. David was honest, knowledgeable and was not only the person we initially met but he was the project manager as well throughout the project. AAylor Construction & RemodelingWell. Robert and his brothers worked diligently and prompt on the job. Cost was over budget by far but not for anything Robert did. We had water damage that accentuated the overall cost and doubled the estimated project length of 3-4 weeks. We are especially impressed with the work of Robert's sub-contractors, especially tile, drywall. and plumbing. All very nice, and well skilled with minimum invasiveness. Robert and company where all very attentative to our inputs and needs. In the end, we have a very solid and well detailed master bath that we should enjoy for many years to come. Well done.- randy j.

AApple Floor Solutionsthis is the third time I have used Bill @ Apple Floor Solutions. The first time was in 2005 when we bought the house we live in now, moving from the house we just had redone. The job he did then was outstanding. We had another house in 2007 that we had hired someone else to install and finish the hardwood floors being put in, they were awful, so we hired Bill to come in to see if he could fix it. I'll tell you he was magical. So I knew when this house came up for refinishing, there was no one else to call. I believe his prices to be extremely reasonable for the job he/they do, and I can not over emphasize how pleased I am with their work.- Michael S.

ALouie and his Team did a fantastic job on our home improvements. We hired Simple Visions Home Remodeling to replace our baseboard throughout our house, and also to replace a pedestal sink in our bathroom with a new vanity and sink. Louie was very helpful with decisions I had to make, he gave me ideas of where to look for the vanity, and what our space would allow. But mostly, he put up with my indecision on the color I wanted for the baseboard, dropping by different baseboard stain samples three times. He had no problem with my deciding on different colors in different rooms. The employees that came and did the work were on time, courteous, knowledgable and thorough, always happy to answer any question I had during the process. Louie came in the beginning of the job to make sure his they knew of the possible problem areas, and stopped by during the job for support. The end result is beautiful and professionally done. We will have more improvements in the future and I will be calling Simple Solutions again!

AFabulous! Will and his team removed large old wooden deck, including support structure, and built new one using Firberon composite materials. About 3 weeks in all. It looks great and feels much sturdier. We couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend this group.

FReally, really bad, and extremely aggressive and unprofessional behavior when called out. The workmanship was horrible, despite this 'special' high end product, which only someone as elite as themselves, are capable of understanding the complexities to pull of their process. (I can't make this stuff up.) Said another way, they do all the work in one day, start to finish. And, the results are exactly as you would expect. Oh, but the contract says 2-3 days, and they'll make up an excuse for why it was all in one day. Just hold for their excuses. We had an arbitration hearing to recover the money, after going through the Contract State Licensing Board of California (just in case you need it [*** Link removed ***] CSLB doesn't recommend arbitration unless you have a really good case, with existing evidence, highly in your favor.

CFirst of all This Review is not against Jeff Walker as a person it is about His Work Ethics and Follow through. We had Jeff do several jobs for us and they came out ok. He did agree to do these items and gave us prices and labor charges. The main problem is What he said he would do and then at the end of the work he said he would not do What he agreed to do. This is something we have never experienced. When you tell someone you will do a Job You do it. This speaks of Integrity and Strong work Ethics and helps you in the future. Jeff Dropped this bomb on us on the last day. He put me in a Tight situation because I had to Hire another handyman to do What he did not want to. I am going Give Jeff the Benefit of The doubt. He seems like he does not take pride in his work. We also had paint on our floors which I removed and on our baseboards. We do not hate Jeff We Hope this will help him due the fact that word of mouth from other customers is you life blood. We will not refer Jeff. This is very bad for Him Because he started off Great then Crashed and Burned. Jeff needs to work on Following Through and keeping His word.

AWe were very impressed with the installers. It took them a few days to complete the job, and they arrived early, worked non-stop, cleaned up, and did an excellent job. Great attention to detail. It's obvious they take pride in their work. The floor looks great! Nice people to work with, too.
