    Ronald M Watson, OD Inc.
My wife does trade with him because she is an acupuncturistso I get the checkup and eyeware for free which is a bonus. He does high quality work and is very thorough with his examination. He is very friendly and seems to have a good selection of frames. He is good at following up and comes in on weekends outside office hours as well.

know I saw Dr Nikolas London for my severe diabetic related eye problems. Dr London made me feel so comfortable and at ease, I was able to relax enough to let him do eye injections right in the office. He has a fantastic educational background, plus his bed side manner is superb! I rarely write reviews, but in this case I feel compelled to let everyone know about Dr London!

    Eye Care of La Jolla
Medicare pays part of the cost of post-cataract surgery prescription eyeglasses--a once-in-a-lifetime benefit.
Although I was assured claims would be--and were--sent to Medicare and my vision insurance company, no claims were received by either Medicare or the vision insurance company.
Among other stories, I was told by the provider that a claim could not be submitted to Medicare until I actually picked up the glasses (even though I paid for them on the day they were ordered), and that Medicare would send a check to the provider (payable to both of us) and the provider would forward the check to me.
I eventually contacted Medicare and my vision insurance company to find out how to submit my own claims. I submitted claims. The vision insurance company processed my claim and sent me a check. However, Medicare denied my claim because the provider is NOT enrolled with Medicare. The provider must have known he was NOT enrolled with Medicare.
Now the provider tells me he wasn't aware claims had not been submitted because his biller was responsible for submitting claims, he has a new biller, and promised to have the new biller submit the claims. I don't know what good this will do, since Medicare already said the provider is not enrolled with them.
I've used this provider for many years and have always been pleased with the care taken with my complicated prescription. But this behavior is unprofessional and inexcusable.
I will submit an update of this review if anything changes.

    Costco Optometry
I arrived a little early for the appointment to make out any paperwork and introductory tests that were needed. The receptionist was very friendly, helpful and professional. She let me know right away that the appointments were running about 5 - 10 minutes late due a previous patient's need. She apologized and told me that it was not the norm and to not worry - the Optometrist would have enough time to answer any of my questions.
The Optometrist I saw was Dr. Robinson. She couldn't have been nicer, more professional or patient. She answered all my questions in between the tests and explained everything that she was doing as she set it up. I was not rushed at all. I felt like I had been seen and heard. Thanks to their professionalism, with all of my questions answered, my appointment took much less time than I expected.
I ordered my glasses through Costco. I was very happy to get the call that they were there to be picked up much sooner than I expected. About 5 weeks later, I noticed a large scratch on one lens so I brought them back, hoping they could polish it out, or do something to minimize the scratch. They replaced the lens. No charge.
    I am one happy customer.

    Morris Eye Group
They were able to find a cornea problem I had that nobody else seemed to be able to find. They are careful and efficient. They have good attention to detail. They have an associated eyeglass business right there. They swing you straight through to everything you need.

I've been going there for 10 years. I don't see any specific doctor. They have all my records and they follow me. It's convenient. There is no specific reason I have chosen them versus anybody else. It's a fairly large office. They have several ophthalmologists and optometrists.

    Haug, Michael
The approximate cost listed was for the glasses, contacts and exam before insurance; after insurance I think I only ended up paying $300. The glasses that I got were the no line progressive and had a coating on it as well as other upgrades. Dr. Michael Haug is very friendly and professional. I will continue to use him and would also recommend him.
