    C & H Gardens Artistic Landscape & Tree Service
Kent and his team were amazing. They worked right through the holidays helping to complete our new yard make-over. We couldn't be happier with the quality of work and the speed in which they completed the projects. This was no easy task, but they made our front and back yards exquisite. They don't just landscape, but Kent has an amazing talent for designing landscapes that are magical. Thank you to Kent and his team for getting this job done so quickly, even through the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's holidays. Gary and Joy Peck

    GNA Construction
This job could not have been done better. Our backyard looks much larger and is much more usable. The deck is gorgeous. Lorraine, project manager, gave us a quote that was less than 1/2 the price of the one other estimate we received. Ruben did an extraordinary job. He was always on time. It was easy to communicate our needs to him and Lorraine. GNA has done many jobs for us over the last several years. We were more than happy with the final product of every one of these jobs. We have hired many contractors and GNA clearly shines above them all.

    A Passion For Gardening
Pedro of A Passion for Gardening and his crew were wonderful! Pedro came by to inspect and provided suggestions for renewing my townhome patio landscaping. He arranged a very convenient time to do the work. They showed up on time, completely cleaned out the old, and redid the borders of my patio with pebbles and succulents. They repaired portions of the retaining wall and the stucco that was in disrepair where my patio joins the townhouse. They also brought the stamped concrete back to life with a power wash. Very thorough, clean, and very fairly priced. They even hauled away the old outdoor patio rug. I would not hesitate to recommend Pedro and his crew!

A salesman made an on-site visit. He made some measurements and took notes as I showed him the problems, but he obviously was not a technical person, and he could not answer a number of what I thought were fundamental questions about how such work is done. Instead, he promised to get answers for me from Saber's engineers, showed me a video that was basically a long commercial, and left me with a nice catalog of the company's operations, much of which involved large commercial jobs. A description of the proposed work and a quote was to be provided within a week. I called the salesman 11 days later and asked when I could expect to hear something from him. He said the proposal was ready, apologized for not getting it to me yet, and said he would drop it off at my house "tomorrow." He was a no-show, and I never heard from him again. My subsequent calls to him went directly to his voice mail, and none were returned. In my last attempt to talk to him two weeks later, I left a message asking if I should assume this was his way of no-bidding the job. There was no response. During this time, I received a customer-satisfication questionnaire from Saber regarding my experience with their salesman. I held on to it until I had given up on hearing from the salesman again, and I then wrote essentially what I have written here. There was no response from that either. I initially had a favorable expectation for Saber. I thought that this job, which seemed huge and complex to me (I eventually spent over $40K with another contractor), would be easy for such a big company. However, I just couldn't get any cooperation from Saber's salesman.

In the initial meeting with Russ Burdeno of RAD, it was reassuring and quite a pleasure to be dealing with the obviously knowledgeable and experienced owner of the company. (A company I had contacted earlier, a much larger, nationwide outfit, had sent a relatively green salesman who offered a slick brochure, but couldn't answer my questions about what he was proposing.) Russ showed me photos of similar work his company had done previously, and he answered every question I could come up with. Russ proposed removing and replacing the failing footing and stem walls, and supporting the new footings on pipe pilings driven deep into the ground to make the footings independent of the surface soil on my hillside property that had slumped years earlier in a very wet winter. It was impressive to see how RAD temporarily supported the two-story house on shoring pipes as the original footing was removed. The original slab had been made without reinforcing steel, and an attempt to simply repair the broken and settled section 30 years ago had failed, so Russ proposed, and I wanted, to completely replace it with a new reinforced slab anchored to the new footings. RAD suggested using an independent engineering firm to make its own inspection of the house and to evaluate the proposed work. Additional engineering inspections were then made as the work was underway and when completed. After the contract was signed and work had started, RAD offered to extend the exterior walkway that was being replaced so as to provide a nice entry stoop for a side door. This was done at no additional cost. The RAD crew was a very professional and quite likeable bunch of guys. They worked efficiently and as neatly as I could have expected (demolition is messy work). They even moved a very heavy piano out of the room having the slab replaced. When the work was finished, they moved it back! I am very satisfied with the work and the result that RAD provided.

We couldn't be more pleased with the result. Chris and his assistant did excellent work using the best materials ( eg. copper and iron). They all kept me informed as they went along. I give it a grade of A+.

    D E Contreras Construction
It went well. We were quite pleased with the teams of workers assigned to various stages of the project. They were attentive to any of our concerns and each team performed their work with professional expertise. The men were under the direction of Darren, the owner. His on site supervisor, Alex, was oupstanding. We have received many compliments Re the final result!

    Johnny's Contracting & Handyman SVC
I have used Johnny's contracting and handyman services for years. They are very reliable and consistent and remain our go to company when we need to get something done. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I don't usually submit reviews, but I have had such good experiences in the past that I wanted to take the time to share my thoughts.

    Parker Concrete
Dave Parker and his employees did a very solid and professional job in repairing the multiple areas in our extensive driveway that needed updating. Mr.Parker is a very open, friendly and straightforward person and gave us various options for the work. He was right on in his estimate without any surprises. My only mild complaint was that he is so busy juggling multiple jobs that it took somewhat longer than he originally stated to complete the job.  I certainly would recommend him and would use his services in the future.

    Parker Concrete
Some minor scheduling hiccups, but everything else went extremely well. Both the owner, Dave Parker, and his foreman, Leo, were clearly very interested in our happiness with the final outcome of the project; they took their time to perform all tasks beautifully, and modified the staining/finishing process as we went to our taste. It is refreshing to have a company take extra time and effort to do an excellent job rather than to just finish quickly. We highly recommend this company.
