    Pro Roto
It was awesome! When I called Pro Roto i talked with Isaac. He was great and sent out his brother Marco. Marco got here in less then 20 mins, and got the job fixed in 30 mins. He was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. He told me I had a plug at my y connector, snaked my line then cleaned it out as well. Highly recommend these guys when you need your plumbing lines cleaned. I would use them again. Marco also told me they do sewer repair and I would have 100% confidence in using them for that also.

    Bayshore Plumbers
Great. I've used this company many times in the past and have always been pleased. This time, he found that the issue was a not-solid-blockage down the drain. When he pulled off the elbow pipe under the sink, the age of the pipe (30 years old) caused one of the pipes to tear. So, that needed to now be replaced. But, he didn't have that kind of pipe in his truck, so he left to go buy it. He came back pretty quickly, snaked the drain pipe and put everything back together again. As good as new. Then I asked him to check on a troublesome shower faucet that I thought was a wrong size washer put in by someone else. He took it apart, couldn't find anything wrong, blew out the faucet parts and pipe with water and put it all back together again, apologizing for not being able to fix it. But, it was fixed, now working perfectly!! And, then he didn't charge me for what he did in the shower, even though it took him at least 15-20 minutes. To say I was pleased by everything would be an understatement!!

In & Out Plumbing & Construction
The main issue I had was the technician argued with me over accepting the price paid through Angie's List. It was for two hours of work at a set cost and he ended up calling the office because he didn't believe it. Then, since he brought a helper, he said I should only get one hour for two people. It was very annoying to have to argue the cost although it appears the work was done appropriately. I suggested he tell his office he was not willing to take an Angie's List assignment in the future.

On the first visit, the plumber said cutting roots out was worthless; what I needed was water pressure to remove the roots, which would be far more effective, but cost a good deal more; it also included a camera inspection of the line.  Well, the water treatment left lots of roots, which he said could not be removed, and that the line needed to be dug out and replaced.  When I complained to the owner, he said he would come out personally, run a cutter in the line, and remove the roots.  He didn't show up.  Instead he sent out someone else, who was able to cut the roots out downstream of the clean out, but he could not get the cutter in the upstream side.  The owner said I would not have to pay for the second visit.  His plumber charged me over $200 for the second visit; the first was $500.  Incompetent plumbers, unresponsive management and overcharging.  Not a good company.

    Bayshore Plumbers

I called for an appointment at 8:00 AM on the 20th.  They said they were very busy, but would be at my home between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM.  Baldo and Menny arrived at 4:10 PM.  They introduced themselves and immediately asked if I wanted them to wear booties before they entered my home.  I then described the problem to them, they quickly ascertained that the best way to clear the drain line was from the roof vent and gave me an estimated cost.  Menny took the snake up onto the roof and cleared the problem in less than 10 minutes.  In the meantime Baldo made sure all the under sink connections were tight and leak proof.  I wrote them a check for the estimated amount, they gave me a receipt with a 30 day warranty, and they were on their way to the next appointment by 5:00 PM.

Great service.  If I ever have another plumbing problem, they will be my first call.

    Dale Plumbing & Heating Inc
I was very impressed with the knowledge and work performed by the service man when he was here. I did have to clean up after him at each site where he worked, but that was not a problem because I was home that day and could remove any dirt and water from surfaces after he had moved on to the next room.
He was late arriving......and it turns out that his office had neglected to give him my specific request to CALL me before starting out to my he had been lost, trying to make sense of GPS directions that simply do NOT work here!
The other surprise occurred when he started to add a large fee for "travel time". When I reacted to this new piece of news, we learned that his office had also neglected to inform me that there would be such an add-on to my bill. I asked him to discuss both of these oversights with his office so that they wouldn't occur for other clients in the future. Hopefully he did so!

Had a sewer line backup. Called a "roto doctor" company out, they gave me an estimate of over $650. Have had this happen before and knew the price was way out of line. Then called Bayshore Plumbing, they were out within the hour and did the job for $196. Great service!

    Classic Drains & Plumbing Inc
Classic Drains & Plumbing Inc did very good work. They did it when they said they would do it, they got here on time, did the job, and everything was right. They did it as advertised and I'm very pleased. I could trust Classic Drains & Plumbing Inc to do it even though I wasn't there.

    Ace Plumbing & Rooter
He was friendly, polite and thorough.  He took considerable time to review other past issues we had mentioned and investigate the potential causes, before ruling out the main sewer as the issue and avoiding unnecessary additional expense of scoping.
We were pleased with the service provided and would use Ace again in the future.

    EJ Plumbing
Our sewer recently backed up into our shower, and caused quite a panic. Originally I had Roto Rooter come out, and they were able to clear roots and do a fiber optic scan, showing more roots on both the property side and the street side of  the old clean out. That cost us about $450 total. However, Roto-Rooter estimates for repair and replacement ranged from $3,000 to $8,000, depending on how much of the line we decided to replace!
After recovering from sticker shock I called EJ Plumbing (recommended both here and on Yelp) and spoke to Manny. He is a very articulate and competent guy. He gave me good advice on what the city would do and wouldn't do and recommended a new street level clean out (we're on a hill). He quoted $1500 for the job, about half of the RR quote.
His team came out within a few days and did the necessary work beautifully. They had  to redo the fiber-optic scan, dig an enormous hole, cut out a big chunk of cast iron pipe, and generally do a good deal more work than was first predicted. It all got done within a day, with excellent feed back from the guys who did the digging, and from Manny. Friendly, cheerful, knowledgeable people. And no extra charges for unforeseen problems. A very good experience.
EJ Plumbing is family owned and operated.
(WTTW...   I also learned to keep the cap on the clean out very loose, so that if the pipe is ever blocked again, the overflow will be at the outdoor clean-out rather than inside the house.!)
