    Horrible! I paid 325.00 to have my overgrown back yard weeded, trimmed, mowed and for the out of control plants to be nicely shaped. I live on a zero lot line so my yard is pretty tiny. I was working from home when they came and when I finished my work and went outside I was shocked. Before they started the job it was discussed in detail just how much to cut etc.. But when I went outside I was speechless. The roses needed to be trimmed- but they were hacked and the remaining branches had not one single green leaf left on them (not to mention all the blooms were gone). The other flowering plants- the same. All flowers in the entire yard - gone. All green leaves also gone and only brown haphazardly cut twigs remained. The star jasmine was ripped out entirely and gone also was the ivy ground cover. The river rock pebble ground cover was also gone entirely from the sections where it had been. The mulch was also gone. Paver stones were for some reason picked up from where they originally were and were literally thrown here and there on the concrete and on the grass. They left garbage, a plastic soda bottle and debris from what they had cut all over the yard. Planter pots were overturned and thrown in the corner on their side. The fence gate was also left propped open with more paver stones that they picked up from the walkway going into the backyard and they never put them back and never even closed the gate. There was more garbage left by the gate from what seems to have been someone���s lunch. When I asked the owner what happened he just shrugged and said ���it will grow back���. I was speechless. They also trimmed the very small area right in front of my porch. It was better than the back and at first I thought it was ok at first. But after they left I saw more garbage and LOTS of debris from what they cut that they just left in the flower beds and never cleaned up. I���ve had wonderful luck with everyone in the past that I���ve hred from Angie���s list. But not this time. Now in addition to what I���ve paid already, I will also need to purchase new garden soil, top soil, river rock gravel levels, mulch, 2 rose bushes, star jasmine and ivy. I���m hoping that some of the other plants will come back but I may need to replace even more. If anyone is thinking about hiring this company, you might want to seriously reconsider.

    Lavish Gardens did a fabulous job on my front and back landscapes. Erin, the designer, truly listened to what I wanted and designed a beautiful plan. In the front, she incorporated a dry steam creek, lava rock bed, two DG pathways, accent grass with striking plants and lighting. The back has flagstone stepping stones that lead to a DG landing area, matching flagstone patio area for a couch with fire pit all surrounding a kidney shaped center grass with accent lighting. Owner Michael Cole was wonderful to work with. He texted everyday to let me know what was happening that day. Ivan and his crew were incredible. They were courteous, professional, prompt and clean. Work was done on time and I couldn���t be happier with my yard. 5 stars!! Would highly recommend

    The trimming and removal were OK, the the yard maintenance was a failure. The back lawn died under Dao's care because he didn't check a loose wire in the sprinkler and the back yard had no water for weeks while we were away. On top of that, after I fired him Dao claimed I owed him $100 when I only owed him $50. I would not hire him again.

    The person who came to give us an estimate gave us a fair price however told us that they wouldn't be able to remove the stump without damaging the fence. We explained the fence will be getting replaced in the near future to which he responded that when that time came to call them and they will come back out to finish the job. When we called to schedule this, it took 3 weeks to get an answer back from the company. When someone finally called us back, they told us that they would charge us $100-150. This is not what was discussed initially and the tone of the person calling us was rather abrupt and off put that we insisted it was. He stated it "wasn't in our contract", when both my husband and I know that it was agreed they would come back out to finish the job. The tree work that was actually completed was fine by the team that came out that first day, (trimming and tree removal(not stump) and the price was reasonable. But the customer service is awful. I cannot recommend them based on their inability to uphold an agreement and response time to get back to us on it.

    I have been unsuccessful in all e-mail attempts to contact the Company (w/ cc to Angie's List each time) on: 07/01; 07/17; 07/27. I received a "You're All Set" but never a follow-up contact. I have used the Company once before and was impressed at that time.

    These Guys are great! John gave us a fair estimate and then the crew came out a few days later. The crew, Scott (the saw man), Randy and three others were friendly, courteous and professional. They went well beyond my expectations on everything including the cleanup afterwards. I highly recommend them.

    I wanted to leave this company a good review. During estimate, Richard, the arborist, impressed me with his tree knowledge and I picked up some good tips on care and maintenance. Richard told me they want to be a "boutique" arborist. In other words, top of the line service which of course goes along with top of the line prices. I care very much about my trees so, although Arbor Tech's prices were astronomical, I did not flinch at the estimate. I wanted the best service for my trees. The issue came with the actual work being done. The crew foreman (the guy in the photo above listed as "our wonderful foreman") was literally a jerk. Completely disrespectful. I have no idea who he thinks he is but he obviously understands nothing about customer service which, of course, is his job. He also did not listen to my requests. My requests had nothing to do with health of tree and were okayed by arborist but the foreman was obviously annoyed with any "special requests". Lastly, to top it all off, at the end, he's on the phone out in front of my house for a long time. His crew is sitting around. Meanwhile, I'm waiting for them to leave to log on to work as I'm working from home that day. He has not completed the transaction with me so I'm waiting. It was taking quite some time, so eventually I go outside and stand in driveway and wave over to him. He ignores me. I wait a while longer. Wave again. As in: Hello, remember me, I am your current customer who is waiting for you to complete the transaction. He ignores me again. Finally decides to get off the phone and I kid you not, walks up to me, and states "You need to understand. You need to wait. I have important business to take care of". Yep, he did. I called the company that same day to give them feedback & Maria said Richard would call me. No one called. After about three weeks, called the office again. New receptionist took message. Richard called me back but said he didn't have time to talk will call back following day. That was two weeks ago. Still no return call. It's now been over a month since service. At this point, I have no choice but to conclude they are obviously not interested in customer feedback. So if you like paying top dollar to be completely disrespected & ignored in your own home, please give this company a call.

    Their work and prices are fair but they are completely incompetent at billing. They regularly fail to send out invoices and then send rude mass emails saying that bills are due whether an invoice is sent or not (followed by equally rude attempts at mass apologies). Since invoices were unreliable, we started pre-paying a month ahead. This confused him and he applied the pre-payment for repairs that we never authorized then started charging us late fees for the bill that we had pre-paid. We tried to straighten this out with him but it ended up being easier just to cancel service.
