  • I purchased laminate flooring from S & G and was clear about my installation needs from the beginning. I spent $11,000 and at every step of the process, I was told that the timeline was not a problem. Well, it turns out, they will promise anything to get the sale, but, not actually take care of the scheduling to ensure the timeline it met. Instead, they pass you off to schedulers who do not care about meeting the sales person’s promises and the sales person takes no responsibility. I regret purchasing flooring from them and I will work with a professional when I purchase for the upstairs.

  • Roger Peverini remodeled my kitchen counter tops and backslash with granite and tile, what an amazing experience! We've had many remodels over the years and he by far was the best contractor we've ever used. He had great communication skills, awesome workmanship, and did a fantastic job! Pricing was also fair. I would use him and recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat, thanks for the great job Roger.

  • I had 747 sq of hardwood floors refinished in my home. From beginning to end the staff was professional, on-time and highly skilled in their trade. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that is considering having their hardwood floors refinished.

  • Not knowing anything about contracting, I was a bit nervous on how best to find the right contractor for my remodeling.I received 3 bids on the project and Peverini Tile came in just slightly lower than the other two. What made me decide on Roger Peverini was not just the price but his professional manner in how he explained the process, pricing, and timeline. Roger, the owner, came by twice to assure he would meet my expectations and that he had exactly what he needed to accurately access the cost. I especially liked the fact that he was able to answer my many questions in a way that I felt like I totally understood the process I was getting into. I also liked the idea he was a local family business with a very good reputation in the contracting business. I was very happy with the whole job from start to finish. He and his workers were here on time everyday. Roger communicated with me daily about progress, and what would be happening the next day. The flooring was beautiful, just how I had hoped it would be. No more carpet, yes! And the remodeled bathroom that was so dated is now something I look forward to using and have friends see. I was very pleased with how clean the work areas were left at the end of each work day. Roger and crew did an overall beautiful job that more than met my expectations. When I get some additional funds in the future for my kitchen, Roger will be my contractor of choice.

  • I think they were very good. They were very friendly, very nice and very helpful informing me that the materials were available and what the costs were. They did a good job and there was no heavy pressure -- I don't like that. They were friendly and nice and did not give me any pressure or anything, let me know what all was available and what they thought, they gave me their ideas too you know and I think this would look well and wasn't always the most expensive thing you know. They were nice, they were very agreeable people.

  • Good customer service. They worked with us so we could learn about the quality of the flooring. The rep took her time with us and made sure we had what we wanted. I would recommend them to friends and family members.

  • Vince was immediately responsive. After reviewing the work, he gave me a reasonable bid. Once the job was scheduled, the team arrived on time and got started right away. They did a great job. We are very satisfied with the results.

  • They did not level the floor with self leveling compound to start with. (big warning sign), but assured me that they are professionals and do this all the time and it would be perfect. They did not listen to what I wanted and started laying the wood plank tile in a pattern and not random as I had requested from the moment I walked into the show room. I brought this to their attention when they had laid 1/3 of the tile and I could see that they were doing a ridiculous pattern and not going random. They refused to fix it at that time and the fix was to remove some of the tiles and replace with pieces that randomized it but left short pieces in the middle of the floor. The floor is nowhere near flat and you can see it dip almost 2 inches over 3 feet along one wall and it all over the place. There are sharp edges of tile sticking out all over the place. The installer was some out of work loser friend of Jose's that Jose hired for the job because Jose had better things to do (I think his name was Bob, and I bought that crew lunch every day and tried to make their life as pleasant as possible). The grout joints we all over the place, almost touching in some places, wide in others, it was a total amateur job from the start. Before it was grouted I told Jose that there was no way I could pay him for such a lousy job. He got all pissy and said he would place a lien against my house and sue me. (all this right before Thanksgiving)... Talk about being held hostage in your own home and with a 1 year old baby in the house, this floor was/is not safe and this a-hole Jose is more than happy to put a customer over a barrel and force them to accept his shoddy work. So rather than have a seriously ****** off wife and court dates and legal fees, headaches, etc. I paid Jose the FULL amount for him to grout and finish the job. (he didn't bother to offer any discount nor compensation for his horrible work). He came out, did a seriously half arsed grout job (with epoxy grout and did not clean it off properly leaving an very thick splotchy epoxy haze all over the tile, he also missed several areas that would have been giant red flags when doing the sponge off). I had already paid him... after many phone calls I got a reluctant house call to patch in some grout, then after more calls and him avoiding my calls (had to use a different phone to get him to pick up) he had some other out of work friend come over with a pint of acid wash/epoxy grout remover to clean the tile. The guy had to leave and go to the store to get a gallon and still left a good portion of grout haze. Jose is a horrible excuse for a human being and a horrible business person/worm. I would warn anyone to stay away from Jose and Lodi Tile Works at all costs. For the record, I have waited for over a year to submit this review just in case Jose was man enough to try to make this right... But as I suspected, he is not.

  • Crews were punctual. The project started the day he told me (and he told me several days ahead of time). Once the work started, someone arrived every day to attend to the next step. They finished the intended job each day, and cleaned up fully before quitting time. I found the crews easy to work with, and attentive to my questions and my requests to be involved in "planning." By that I mean that they gave me time, for instance, to get my shower stool and sit on it to see where the soap dish and lower corner shelf should be placed, and to make sure that the grab bars were in the right places for someone my height. The guys were not worried that I "watched" a lot, and were good with my dogs occasionally getting into the work site. The guys were also very careful about my gates (so that the dogs were safe) and about protecting my counters and rugs.

The demolition and rebuild took 9 consecutive work days. The glass walls arrived at the "sooner" end of the window I was told, and were set promptly one week after the rest of the construction was completed. So, the bathroom remodel took less than 3 weeks from start to finish...bearing in mind that the vanity and sinks were left alone, that I did NOT move the shower plumbing (only lowered the shower drain and capped off the old tub plumbing), and that no electrical work was needed. Roger checked in sufficiently often and was easy to contact by text.

If I were to do my other bathroom, I'd ask Roger Peverini back in a flash. I recommend him most highly.

  • Company owner Tony and his visiting nephew Michael arrived during the time window he had indicated, and called to let us know he was on his way.  They did an excellent and thorough job cleaning the tile and grout.   We were impressed with how clean the grout and tile were when they were through - it looked like new!
Tony also gave us some advice on what to use on the tile floors for cleaning and for soap residue on shower tile.  They were very friendly and professional.  We were very pleased with the results and the service.
