  • Gil and his professional and skilled team at LAR Construction & Remodeling are by far more than awesome people! We had a deadline to complete our kitchen remodeling project (including demolishing the old one) and Gili promised us that he will be able to do it within this time frame (1 month) and that he will keep it within the agreed budget as well. Gili was at our house each day and managed each step of the work including to make sure that everything will go according to the plan, without any mistakes and that we are pleased with the progress. After the kitchen was finished and delivered to us, many of our guested gave us so many compliments about how it looks and how functional it becomes (compare to the old kitchen)! We will never hire another home improvement company for any of our future remodeling projects!!!!

  • The workmanship is always top quality and transforms the look and feel of the place. The painting staff was always courteous, on time and cleaned up the area of work nicely every day. Patrick was a joy to work with, not only was he prompt and timely with responses, he is very knowledgeable and even helped us choose a color palette. While Brannick & Associates may not be the low bid, the work is exceptional & worth every penny. I would highly recommend this contractor.

  • Crow and Andrew did an amazing job on our home remodel. They have excellent communication and coordination skills, great design skills, and superb craftsmanship. They were a pleasure to work with and the result was exactly what we were looking for. We really appreciated their design work for our dining room and our bath room. They both have a strong commitment to quality while always keeping cost aspects in mind.

  • The power wash and clean-up were both very perfunctory. Many garden plants are speckled with paint. That said, the price was very reasonable and the house has been painted. Considering the hasty prep that was done, I only hope the paint job lasts a few years.

  • He arrived at the appointed time and immediately set to work. When he had completed the work we had planned for him to do, he made suggestions about additional work he could do since he finished early. He completed that work as well. Quick, efficient, clean work. Only additional expense was $20 for some wiring supplies he provided. We were beyond impressed.

  • He told me he couldn’t come until February after I initially spoke with him before purchasing it at the beginning of December. I was out of town during the time he could come in February, so I requested a refund.

  • We searched high and low until we found David.  Most painters had no clue about glazing or if they did had never done it.  David was experienced in the technique and obviously knew what he was doing.  He asked what finished look we wanted and prepared a few doors to show us before we ever got started.
The process is very labor intensive.  He and his workers were very professional.  They took care of details in the kitchen without being asked to do so.  The quality of their work was superb.  They were neat and clean and very accommodating to decisions that were made along the way of the project.
One of the concerns of the project was getting the glaze just right.  It's a custom job and the application and removal of the glaze is critical to the finished product.  David worked the first cabinet door by hand while I watched.  He made sure that the glazing on the first one was precisely the look that we wanted.  Once that was determined they repeated the process for all the remaining doors and drawers and framework in the kitchen.
It came out beautifully.  I would highly recommend David's company to anyone considering any type of painting job, but especially to those seeking to customize their kitchen cabinets with a glazed, antique finish.

  • They did a good job, when I dealt with Paul, he gave me references to phone up to find out how he works and they did okay. The project was finished on time and there's no problem with feedback at all. The first time that they did work for me, it was around maybe $1700, and the second time, I think it was a couple of hundred bucks. The overall experience was good. I didn't price them out, a lot of times if I work with a contractor, I might not get multiple bids, it depends upon how I feel about the contractor and what I found out about him. Sometimes if you find out the guy works well and you get recommendations, even if he is a little more, it would be better to pay for it and that's the way I operate. The price seems reasonable on what he told me on the amount of time that it would take to do the job and what he was doing, it did not seem that it would be out of line. The quality was good and Paul was very responsive.

  • I am so embarrassed at how much I paid for just matting for an oil framing. I walked out of there so upset. It was an emotional thing because it was a painting that belonged to my parents; it was a big deal. I was so uncomfortable. I think his name is Patrick Nielsen. It was unconscionable; it was so expensive. It wasn’t even a good job on top of that. I called the Better Business Bureau, and they do absolutely nothing. I was just furious because I had it framed at another place for a fraction of the cost. I had a poor job done by a woman who was ill and I didn’t know it at that time. So I thought I will have it redone. It was my fault for even agreeing to it. It was so outrageous. The painting was the one thing I got from a relative and it meant a lot to me. He was condescending to me. He called and it was even delayed on top of everything else. He gave me a decent quote before. He said that it would about so much, and it was higher than what he said. I went back. I talked to him over the phone and told him what I needed. Then when I went in, it had jumped up. I think it had even jumped up a second time. The price was terribly higher than what he told me over the phone.

  • We were moving back into our home after a few years living away. We had disliked the ceiling since we bought the home.Mike was in the Bay Area on another job and was available to do the job.We contacted him through a friend and he was able to give us an estimate when we gave him the square footage of the room.We had a narrow window to get the work done because we were moving back into the house. Mike agreed to get the job done within our time frame. He came to our house prepared to cover everything. He covered the floors and the walls and taped up the blinds. (which he also covered. The ceiling removal took a full day. The next day he re-did the ceiling. The following day he sanded the ceiling and it was ready for painting. He was friendly and cheerful and enjoyed doing the work.
