    SOD Builders
We hired Gal (Luxcess Home by SOD Builders) for our full kitchen remodeling after we received great recommendations about him by a friend of us. We immediately connected with him right at our initial meeting that we had at our house; hes cool, kindly, and completely understand how remodeling projects should go. Our kitchen space was very challenging with our expensive modern taste and a known budget which Gal was able to make it happen. In the designing phase, Gal was an incredible collaborator. His great knowledge, design appealing, and practicality was a great mixture and asset. The project scope expanded but Gal remained focused of the budget. Once we start the actual work and met all the working team we were sure that we are dealing with no less than professional people. The crew were craftsmen workers and the pride they took in their work was obvious. They were careful and their clean-up at the end of each day was more than appreciated. The end result of the work surpassed our prospects and not only we ended up with an astonishing remodel we also made a great new friend.

    Green Remodeling & Beyond
We love our new kitchen. As many fresh homeowners we searched for the right company to help us with our ideas and budget. Ilan and Adam gave us just what we wanted. From starting with 3D to process and finish, we got our kitchen remodeled including a bathroom in 4 weeks. The crew came on time, we got daily calls with project updates. Everything was communicated prior to built which was extremely important for us.

    Rose City Construction
Rose City Construction converted my very small, dark and outdated 1950s era kitchen to one that is bright and has increased plus ample cabinet storage and counter space. The result was achieved by removing a window and a redesign of the kitchen layout, all without increasing the size of the floor space. Every tradesman performed at the highest level of professionalism and every inspection passed without problem. The project lasted 3 months from start of demolition to final finish on August 4, 2016.. From general contractor to plumber, electrician, painter, tile setter, cabinet maker, and counter top maker, I was kept informed about the status and progress of the renovation. The line of communication with my contractor, Nick Kalandjian, was excellent and his crew of dedicated professionals was always willing to answer my questions by showing or explaining to me the how and why of a process. This has been a very positive and gratifying experience and I will be using Rose City Construction for future projects.

    SOD Builders
When I and my partner moved into the same house, we instantly realized that we will have to make several improvements in order to fit the house for both of us. The first thing that we had was the tiny sink in the master bathroom and the shower. This master bathroom was the first thing that we needed to do.  In addition to that there was not enough space for the both of us. We also had some plans in mind for this bathroom bedroom closet in order to make it as a walk-in closets. Once we agreed to a master bathroom and closet remodeling, we met with Oren from SOD builders and when he came over, he looked and took it from there. As part of our meeting with Oren. We brought up the idea about remodeling the kitchen, bedroom and to do the hardscape in the back and front of the house. By adding all of this as a one big deal, Oren and his workers were able to do much better work than what we thought to get. The bedroom is the master bedroom at the house and Oren redesigned it and gave it a completely new look and feel.  In the hardscape part of the house, Michelle (the designer of the company) came up with a brilliant concept of how it can be and the sketch of her design caught our attention immediately. Her design included all the new plants, trees, Stamp concrete and outdoor small kitchen with BBQ that included a bar, seating area and a fire pit. In the front of the house, she was able to design new entry to the house and several steps with nice rocks and tropical trees. The deal that we got from Oren, was very good and we took it. We were able to live at the house while they worked there and it was not as bad as we thought it will be. Oren made sure to concentrate at the house first and to do all the dirty work in all the spaces and then to do all the outdoor items. The work was completed after 3 months of work and without any major problem. The office communicated with us during the whole project and it made it easy and comfortable. If you're nervous about hiring a contractor, don't be! You just need to follow our advice and feel free to contact SOD builders.

It was great! They worked with me due to issues I had going on with a previous contractor (not through Angie's List). Work was done fast and with great quality. I definitely would use them in the future and highly recommend them.

He originally quoted us $75 and the job was so small that he was kind enough to reduce it to $50 because it didn't take very long and he didn't need very many parts. He was a very nice guy. He had to move the couch to get to the outlet and he put everything back because we are older. He was excellent and we would absolutely use him again.

    GM Construction
They started in February and finished in April. The workmanship was pretty shoddy. I had to stand over and watch the guy doing the tile work. The tile work was the worst part, I think they just use the cheapest guys they can find. They were supposed to be putting the tiles down in a pattern, but the patterns weren't even symmetrical. It was so bad. Then they ran out of tiles and I had to wait two weeks - I had to keep calling them. They finally got the tile in and they sent the guy out to do the work, by that time I was so frustrated dealing with these guys. I asked him if he had all the pieces he needed and he said yes, but he was using the rounded pieces that you would use on a counter top. Then they put in recessed lighting in the kitchen and the cabinet doors were so over sized. I told the project manager that I didn't want to use hardware on the cupboards or cabinets - I just wanted to use finger pulls and they brought all the cabinets out and I noticed there were no finger pulls. I told the guy and he said I guess we'll just have to use hardware then. I don't know what they were thinking, they took all my old cabinet doors and drawer doors off so they could make them the same size (they were only replacing the doors). All the doors and drawers were over sized. I paid the guy off and he said he would send someone out to fix it and he never did. They would install the wrong things and I had to tell them. The guy didn't write anything down. I told them I wanted an under sink mount for the granite counter tops and the installers thought it was an over mount so they had to pull the granite off and take it out side and cut out the opening. They had to do some destruction and tear off the old tile on the counter tops which was standard height. My slide in stove was also that height. I measured the new counters and it was 3/4 of an inch shorter so I had to buy a new stove to fit. It was a disaster from day one.
