Babylon Builders - Home & Landscape Contractor
A fantastic experience from start to finish, BGL transformed our vague intentions into concrete form. We needed a soil and grass lawn converted to a rock garden with undemanding but beautiful flora. An adjacent ramp and slab needed to be replaced to correct their inclines. BGL rapidly produced a striking design and then enacted it rapidly and thoroughly. In addition to the concrete work, stone walkways were placed and a drip irrigation system was installed and integrated.

Great! Christie came out ahead of time and talked through the project with me. The crew arrived right on time on the work day. As we talked it through again, we revised the plan, coming up with something I liked even better. The crew was hardworking and polite. And, so efficient! They were done hours before I expected. Would definitely use these folks again!

    COMPLETE TREE CARE
I think they're a little pricey, but on the other hand, I have no regrets about the quality of work. It all depends on really the guy doing the cutting. He's gonna know what he's doing. They sent two people but one guy did most of the work. I think they cleaned up all the debris, for the most part.

    Green Lane Tree Services Inc
Green Lane did a very good job but the scope of work (and final price) had to be adjusted since the service I purchased from Angie's List would not have covered the actual work. Franklin came out for a site visit and when he saw the size of the tree he told me that would require a lot more work than the service I had purchased; more labor and an additional climber. He made me a special deal which I accepted. The description of the service in Angie's list needs to be much more specific; so that people buying can make truly informed purchasing decisions

Dago and his crew did a great job assisting with designing our space with the vision we had in mind for our front and backyard. Dago was patient and listened to our ideas, and provided thoughtful suggestions when we needed them. Once we had set the plan, he and his crew were fast and efficient to create a beautiful created a space where our little family can enjoy. His prices were fair and he was fast with his correspondence.

This landscaper was *exactly* what I was looking for to get the job done.

First, Dago Garcia was extremely easy to communicate with. There is a form on his web site for requesting a quote. I filled that out, and received an email in response within the next 24 hours (probably much sooner--but I do not check my personal email frequently). He was always responsive on email, and provided his cell phone number in case I preferred to text him. I work full-time and have children, so this responsiveness is highly valuable to me.

Second, when he came to look at the job, he suggested himself that we might want to consider repairing the fence rather than replacing it. I was so pleased to hear this--both because that brings down the cost of the work and because the environmental impact of removing that amount of fencing material (mostly wood) and then bringing in new material is much larger than a simple repair.

Third, he asked about details of the job several times over the course of the two days that he was at our house. This meant that I could see what he planned (based on my initial request) and alter details of it as we went along. For example, we discussed which side of the fence he should nail the wire fencing, and whether the horizontal supports should be oriented vertically or horizontally. These are small matters--that don't add cost to the job--but as a homeowner I appreciated the chance to weigh in.

One final note: I wanted basic, but solid repair and replacement work, and that is what he provided. I do believe that if I had asked for more elaborate construction work, special materials, or additional landscaping around the area of work, that he would have been able to provide that. My first hand experience at this point in time is only of his fence work.

Dago and his crew are awesome!  We are a 14-unit condominium building with landscaping in front and around an interior courtyard. Their bi-weekly cleanup and maintenance is always excellent and we especially appreciate how responsive they are to occasional "extra"  requests such as trimming a tree branch which was occluding a No Parking sign or cleaning leaves and debris from the rain grate at the bottom of our driveway.  They also keep our common areas and parking garage leaf free. They are neat, thorough, timely and efficient.

Dago is extremely responsive any time we've contacted him for advice or for additional projects. He has always given us a good price on extra projects and we have never been dissatisfied with the results.

I give him the highest of recommendations.

    Romans Tree Service, Inc.
Crew sent out very soon after request called in and arrived at time agreed. Foreman came with crew to assess job and assign work. Scope of work was explained and discussed with us before process began. Foreman also gave us his cell phone number in case we had questions or problems as work progressed. Cutting work took about half day, with stump grinding taking another half day later. Foreman stayed to get crew started and returned to check out work and check in with us on both work days. Workers had misunderstood where to place stump chips but moved them graciously. The work needed was explained to us very clearly up front, as was the pricing. A good bit of the cost was for stump grinding, which took about half a day in addition to the time for the removal itself. We were pleased with the work and found the foreman very helpful and accommodating. We were very satisfied with this service.

Campos Green View Landscaping & Tree Service
Jose was recommended to us from our contractor (California Rebuild - found on Angie's list) He came over on time, very friendly and professional. He made both my husband and I feel very confident in his work.
He started the day as promised although it was raining or more like a down pour (Monday 31st March). The guy's stayed all through the rain to get the job done. I am very impressed with their overall professionalism and hard work - excellent job done!!!
We will definitely use Jose and his team again for future work!!
Thank you very much Jose and team. A very satisfied costumer. By the way the price was reasonable too as we had a few quotes and their's was the best..

    Ponderosa Tree Service
The Sequoia Redwoods were planted by my neighbor way too close to the property line.  As a result, when they grew large and tall as they do, they dropped dead needles and other stuff in our yard and on our dog run. Ponderosa did a very nice job of pruning the trees back to the property line while still keeping their shape and symmetry.  They also ran interference with the the neighbors who were concerned the pruning would kill or damage the trees.
Ponderosa showed up with a crew of four workers, including one who worked close to the top of the 100 ft. tree.  They stacked all of the cuttings near the curb, and a chipper truck came by later and picked it up.
The crew leader was Johnny. He was very professional, as were the others in the crew.
