    San Diego Bay Animal Hospital
Definitely, without question, I would use them again. This cost is cheap. It was 10 grand about 8 months ago for back surgery. Dog's aint' cheap! He's worth every cent of it though. He's in there all the time. I have 2 dogs. Basically this particular doctor we followed all over the county and she started her own practice now and just phenomenal. I mean she's a class act all the way across the board.

She has a plan with them where they agree to do regular maintenance. She is happy with that service. Since she is happy with it lets give them an A across the board. Its sort of like a health plan. She pays a monthly fee its just like health insurance. Lets say $20 a month.

    Doggie Dos by Terri
She is very satisfied with all of there services, at least she tells me that. She makes appointment and drops the dog off. They call her when its ready and she goes and picks it up. She has satisfaction with the services. The staff she has become friends with the owner over the years with all the dogs she has had. They kind of give her some preferential treatment. She has referred a lot of  friend to them. So their business has expanded because of that. They have a very compatible arrangement.

I've been using this office and Dr. Kelly for almost 10 years. She is an amazing vet and a very kind soul. She is thorough and takes all the time you need to answer questions and listen. I have had problems and left messages with her vet techs and she always returns my calls promptly. I have recommended her to friends and they have been equally pleased. You will find a new forever vet for your fur babies if you visit Dr. Kelly.

They were very  kind and very helpful.  I'd give them an "A." They are kind, knowledgeable and very thorough.  They are very expensive.  Then again, every time you go to a vet, they're expensive. When they say they're going to call you, they do.  I would use them again.

I was very happy with the thoroughness and the helpful information I was given about the care of our dog. I grew up with dogs, but was not aware of a few important tips the vet gave me. We came here for a second opinion, and our dog was given about three diagnostic tests the first vet did not give him.

Rather than talk to me AT ANY POINT during this.. The management just had my review removed from Yelp instead.Im sure ill get banned from here too, but If management isnt going to reach out to me (my MULTIPLE attempts have been unanswered) Im going to do everything in my power to leave my experiences on every since website available to warn as many people as I can. Just gunna delete it? Don't worry, I have a copy. BBB will be next if you choose to ignore me. This is my personal story of the worst customer service i have ever experienced. Here is my removed Yelp Review:"I have honestly never been so appalled by customer service in my entire life.I feel very strongly that I need to share this story so people and the management know what they are dealing with. Whether the girl that talked to me was having a bad day or not, there was NO excuse for what we just went through. Tensions were high and everyone involved lost.
My best friend took his cat in here to be euthanized today. His wife had called ahead for prices and an understanding of the procedure but did not go with him to the clinic. When he got to the clinic he was told different information and had to call his wife to confirm what they wanted to do since it didn't match. (Aka the price went up AND the body was coming home with us if we didn't pay for even more services.. Which is fine, we just weren't told initially!)The receptionist at this point decided to help the next customer rather than finish helping my friend and his wife understand what was happening.
Mind you, this is about a euthanasia!
I called them on the phone explaining that my friend was in their lobby and was getting passed over for another customer while he was trying really hard to understand his cats situation. The woman on the line instantly got defensive (i think her name was Shannon). And the first words out of her mouth were "i don't have any idea what you're talking about" in a condescending tone. I explained again that i was calling because i was trying to help my friend who was there for a euthanasia and this is the situation..She said something snarky back to me and by that time i was livid. I finally stopped explaining and said all I'm asking is that my friend is treated respectfully while he was there because he was having a rough time. The woman's response was "you don't know me" because she "is the most empathetic person" i'd ever meet l, and "didn't know what my problem was".She then proceeds to pull the phone away from her ear and start talking to another girl next to her about me saying "i don't know what her problem is shes just yelling and screaming at me...etc etc" without even hiding the fact that she was talking crap in full ear shot of me. I hung up and called back, the same girl answered but didn't say her name this time, heard my voice and instantly hung up.I called AGAIN, this time a different person answered the phone saying only "heeello??" With no business greeting or name, so i said "id like to speak with a supervisor please" she chuckled and said "yea, you're not going to be speaking to a supervisor anytime soon" i said I would wait on hold for a supervisor, and was cheerfully told "Sure!" You can bet I did NOT get to speak to a supervisor.
I left it alone then, after FOUR failed attempts to get some answers because my friend was still there and they were all making such a joke out of me i knew he could hear them (and he did.)
I found out that they did in fact harass him a bit more after i called, as i'd worried. They cornered him as he was saying goodbye to his cat, tears rolling down his cheeks and started asking him questions like if they were making him feel disrespected or not.
I am shocked. Honestly sick to my stomach. My heart is broken over the loss of an awesome cat, and shattered with how it all ended. He walked out of there with no cat, no ashes, no paw print, no solace. We are worried there is so little integrity with this place that our minds can not help but worry that our beloved little dude is just sitting in a trash can out of spite and no accountability. I hate that my friends are having those thoughts.
To be treated this way on a normal day would have blown me away, but these women all knowing full well what kind of day we were dealing with? To not be given an ounce of respect at any point? It makes me glad my involvement happened over the phone and not in person.Shame on you guys. Absolutely sickening experience. Never again will any of us make the mistake of taking our animals there. No chance Ill be taking my dog back ever again. We miss retired Dr. Paulson even more, he was the best vet ever."

In all honesty I have mixed reviews with Petsmart grooming. I've been taking our dogs there for almost 20 years and there are pros & cons to them.
Some of the pros: They are very convienent location wise. Literally about 5-7 minutes from my house. After going there for so long some of the groomers are familiar with our dogs. The groomers are all very nice and friendly. I've only had 1 bad experience there - groom wise - in all the years I've been going to them. They do a very good job on our dogs. Sometimes they do have $5 off grooming coupons. They fill out little "report cards" on how your dog was and what they did.
Cons: You can't always get an appt. time when you want. The price. Seems to be very pricey. Their check in and check out process is horribly long! It takes FOREVER. Especially now that their computer system has been "upgraded" to a central system with all the Petsmarts around the country. They have 2 computers to check in/out and 1 ALWAYS seems to be down - therefore making the check in/out process even longer. Very frustrating! You can wait a long time for a groomer to come from the back to check you in - even after you push the button to let them know you're there if no one is up front. It always seems to be frenetic, frustrating, and takes forever. Nothing seems to be streamlined for easy check in and out. Also, they now offer booking your grooming appt. online. Never works. It takes forever to try and book something and when you go to click on "book" it just goes in circles and won't confirm anything or tells you that there is a problem and it can't do it. When I asked a groomer about this she said its all linked to the new system. Well the new system sucks. End up calling to make an appt.
They need to fix their computer system, make check in/out a faster & easier process, either modify their prices or offer more coupons to save $$. I do love having the groomer, store, vet, and pet hotel all in one place. However do to their pricing and the pure torture 85% of the time of getting my dogs checked in and out, waiting for that God awful computer system to work or someone actually at the front counter, I am going to start shopping around for other groomers to compare pricing, etc.

A very thorough physical exam followed by blood tests.  Rx for antibiotics and a thyroid condition, also an anti-inflammatory.
Any Board Certified vet would be competent to perform these tasks, but not with the same care and gentleness of Dr. Johnson.  The cat can be a handful when ill or scared, she just had a gift for dealing with him.  And that is one of the best things about Broadway Animal Hospital, in thirty years, all of the vets have been superior in dealing with our cats and the owners.  They have kept our little friends healthy and happy for many years.
The practice is really a hospital that seems like a vet's office and it also has an exceptional animal surgeon on staff that we have personally worked with.  It has all the equipment that could be conceivably needed and is possibly the equivalent to a human emergency care clinic; maybe better.  They cater mostly to household pets but I suspect they can handle anything up to a Rhinoceros.
The building is new, designed from the ground up for the purpose and clean; no animal or hospital smells.  We also board our cats there when necessary and they have a clean, well lit room with individual spaces.
Over the years we have come to trust them implicitly and best of all, now we get a 10% senior discount.

    Critter Sitters
Since our puppy was 4 months we have been going to Critter sitters to watch over our boy while at work. Cindy is always friendly, flexible and loves pets! Our boy is now just over 1 year and we still board him with Cindy as we know he gets lots of attention, exercise and socialize with all the other dogs there. Highly recommend Critter Sitters if your looking for a truly flexible and carryingdog sitter.
