When I called, was treated very nice and had an appointment in just a few days. My window was 4-6 and the doorbell rang at exactly 4. He quickly said my drain line must be clogged. An hour later it was all done and he cleaned everything up. With my coupon, it was only $100. Will definitely hire again.

Technician Alex had to remove frozen water in the freezer drawer of the refrigerator. This involved taking out the back wall of the freezer unit to access the place that had a piece of the unit that had broken off and blocked the drain line.

    Sears Appliance Repair
It was a better bargain then and it is now. It was not too expensive. One time out with a service rep and you didn't pay for it. It was a financial decision. I walk around my outside and everything jumps out as Kenmore or a Sears product.

They put a call in to E.E to replace the microwave and E.E said the warranty run out like not even a week ahead of the time that I bought it. The service guy said they should be giving us a new microwave. But the E.E refused. They said I've got to pay $180.00 for a new one. The service guy came to check it out and he had a blower with him, he then called the company and told them to replace it. They wanted $175/$185. I spent the same amount of money on the kenmore instead and I installed it for like a month without a microwave. How do you think it makes me feel when I come home to leftovers? The company told me to replace the microwave. They didn't charge me for the visit. I paid for there services already in advance. I have a home service contract with Sears so I dont have to pay any company. I've use this company any old time. They are good. The workers were 99% good. One guy was a bit indifferent but I straighten his ass up.

I got an appointment the same day I called. The technician was on time, polite and very knowledgeable. I was able to get my refrigerator repaired right away for less than I had expected. I will use this company again.

Provider arrived 30 minutes ahead of scheduled time. He explained what he thought the problem was and how he would access the defective part. Yuriy even had a spare LG drain pump on hand, so there was no ordering and waiting for the part to come in. After the pump was installed, he ran the washer through a cycle to make sure everything was operating as designed. He instructed me on the importance of regular tub cleaning and gave me a sample cleaning disc to try out. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We will definitely use his service again! Thank you, Yuriy, for a job well done!

As usual, Daniel was exactly on time and gave me good advice.  Although we chose to purchase a new dishwasher and no repair was done, Daniel made good suggestions as to what to look for in purchasing a new one.  I so appreciate having someone who is honest, professional and always on time and who has the work ethic to look out for us customers rather than just try and make another sale.  Thank you Daniel!  We continue to recommend you to anyone who has need of a good appliance repairman.

Eloy was on time and immediately began an evaluation of my washer leak.   He quickly found the problem and left to purchase the hose needed for the repair.  He returned a half-hour later and installed the hose and the washer appears to work perfect now.   The cost of the 10" hose was $27.95 and his labor for the 45 minute job was $110.

WORST REPAIR EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.  Here is a copy of the letter I wrote and mailed to Sears Corporate Office.  I never even got a response.  Not even a "sorry for your experience but unfortunately there is nothing we can do".  Not only will I never shop at Sears again but I go out of my way to tell family and friends not to, either.
    "To Whom it May Concern,
I want to write this letter to let you know about the experience we have had the past month dealing with a Sears refrigerator repair.  It started when our ice maker stopped working and we noticed that the freezer was not maintaining a cold enough temperature, causing ice cream to melt and all our food to start to defrost.   The first technician that came out told us we just had to open the freezer door all the way out every so often because otherwise ice gets frozen in the door track and that can cause cold air to escape.  The next day the problem was not fixed so we called again to have another technician come back out.
This time we were told we needed to order a new mainboard and a new ice maker and they would back in about a week when those arrived.  The technician this time told us those would not fix the problem and we needed a new compressor and a new dryer fan (I believe).  The only compressor they had was on a truck in Utah and they would be back in 9 days to fix it.  As it turns out, they had one on the truck and one technician (Josh) had to convince the other (Gary) to come back inside to replace it after Gary tried telling him he had more calls that day and we would be fine to wait the 9 days for the other one to arrive. Over the course of three visits, they replaced the mainboard, the ice maker, compressor, copper tubing (dryer?), fixed a leak in the pipes, and flushed out oil.
As a result of the work they did, we not only had to throw out our entire freezer full of food, but they caused the fridge portion to stop working as well so we had to throw out at least half of the food in our fridge.  Also as a result of the work, there is a new noise coming from the refrigerator.  We had another technician out AGAIN and he said the tubing was too close to the cabinet, amplifying the sound of the compressor.  If this noise had been present when the fridge was first installed (only 10 months ago) we would have returned it during the grace period because it is a highly disturbing sound much like ringing in our ears.
I want to bring to your attention the caliber of these technicians.  Although Josh was new and made a mistake about what was initially wrong with the freezer, he was the only one who seemed to care about us as people and legitimately wanted to help fix the problem.  Gary was by far the worst.  On his second visit to us, he had another technician in training and the way he spoke to him was disgusting.  He talked to him like he was a child and was not capable of following any direction or doing anything right.  He spoke to me in a very arrogant and demeaning manner that made me feel very uncomfortable.
We were told to call about the food loss you offer and were told that unless we purchased the Protection Agreement we would not qualify.  This refrigerator is less than a year old, we had been without a freezer for weeks and had to throw out hundreds of dollars of food.  As a result of the work done by your technicians, we also had to throw out a large amount of the food in our fridge as well.  This is completely unreasonable to expect us to pay for the replacement of all of this, especially since half of it was the fault of your employees.  I can understand needing to have the Protection Agreement after the initial one year warranty, but within that one year, you should not expect to have your fridge go out and have to replace all your food already.
At the current time, I have receipts totaling over $1,900 put into the repair of this fridge over the course of FIVE visits in less than a month?s time, which is more than we paid for it new.  We had two different technicians tell us this is a lemon and Sears needs to condemn it and replace it.  Someone on the phone told me he tried to override the qualifications for the replacement that we had not met because of the amount of money put into it so far, but was unable to get that done.
I am very concerned because I believe it is only a short matter of time before something else goes wrong with this, and we only have about 1 more month on the warranty.  With everything that has already gone wrong, and now with the new noise it is making, I do not feel comfortable spending the hundreds of dollars to restock the food because I don?t trust it to keep functioning.  Technicians are quick to tell us we should get the extended warranty, which I feel is unreasonable that Sears should expect us to pay another $250 on something we are fairly certain is already considered a lemon.
We buy all our appliances from Sears and have purchased a dishwasher and a washer and dryer in addition to this refrigerator.  I can tell you that if this problem does not get resolved, we will never do business with Sears again because this is not only a quality issue, but a horrible customer service issue as well."
Our fridge CONSTANTLY makes a highly annoying noise, regardless of if it's cycling on or not.  It makes me so angry every day hearing it and being reminded of this experience.  When it goes out, we will definitely be shopping somewhere else!!  Please shop somewhere else!!

Called to schedule appointment on 9/2/2015, was told technician would call between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM.  On 9/3/2015 at about 9:00 AM the technician called me, he was having trouble finding my address. his dispatcher had misspelled my street name.  Technician arrived in about 15 minutes.  Technician quickly troubleshot the problem and made necessary repairs. overall a very good experience.
