  • Using Magic Moving was a wonderful experience! Everyone was so friendly and very organized.  Victoria answered all my questions and gave me great tips on how to get organized and save time and money. The moving crew showed up early and didn?t waste any time getting started.   They were experienced, knew what they were doing and very professional.  They wrapped everything in heavy moving blankets and even packed some things I didn?t have ready.  They protected my floors, my stairs and doors throughout my home.  I own some expensive antiques and bedroom furniture which they handled with exceptional care.  I was impressed with how careful and fast these movers were! The price was more than fair and I ended up spending less than I anticipated.  Use this company as you won?t regret it.  I highly recommend.

  • They seem to be very responsive and have a thorough set up. Their price seems to be standard and reasonable to others in the area. We have been working with one of the owners, Ferdinand Piano, and his operations manager, Laura Tagatec. We chose them after seeing their great reviews online and researching.  They seem to be very stable and offer a wide range of services. They were also willing to accommodate and offer us a reasonable contract that we thought was balanced and doesn’t just protect them. They have a very large collection of subcontracts they work with if you ever need any specific repairs. .

  • The estimator was very prompt, and they followed up with a written estimate soon afterwards.  It turns out that the estimate was way high (by about 50%), so the truck they sent was way bigger than needed. but it was nice paying less than I was expecting.
    On moving day they were prompt, very effiicent and pleasant.  It felt a little rushed, but we were trying to stay at the 4-hour minimum, so I understand why.   Some things were left in the garage that should have been put in the house, but that was minor.  Nothing was broken, they moved my daughter's bed a few times without complaint, and were in and out in under 4 hours.

  • They were very good. They give a good estimate for the cost. They work that estimate so I pretty much knew what they were going to say and they were professional about moving. They go that extra mile. They were very affordable. They were less formal I wouldn't say they were perfect but they worked with their schedule and they were very good. They were right on time.

  • It is both rare and wonderful these days to find people who genuinely care about their work, who hold their work to a certain ethic, and who sincerely look out for the well-being of those they work with. Tino is one such individual. His system for finding tenants, performing maintenance, organizing communication, and managing properties is one of the most structured and thorough I have seen among those I have talked to, and it says loads about his experience and expertise, as well as the precision and concern that he applies to his job.  

    For example, demonstrating his conscientiousness and care, he keeps up comprehensive communication with property owners by sending monthly statements. He holds applicants to the highest standard, and he has a thorough system in place that accounts for every possibility. Applicants cannot have ANY recent missed payments, they must come with a realtor, they must have a stable job that they have been at for 2 years, they must past extensive background and credit checks, they must have great references. From there, he categorizes tenants into risk categories: green, yellow, red, and adjusts their leasing setup accordingly. Yellow tenants, those who meet basic criteria but might have one or two risk factors (eg. great everything but a medium credit score), must pay first and last month's rent upfront; with green tenants - those who pass every category with flying colors, he might adjust accordingly. Every maintenance request MUST be sent through his online system, so that the owner can see every request and response, as well as to protect against any tenant claims that might come up later on if issues arise. These methods are pre-emptive, thorough, and transparent; the fact that Tino has thought of all these possibilities and has systems in place to address them shows that he is conscientious and attentive to detail. It is not always common to find property managers who have such well-thought-out and precise methodologies. It is little wonder that despite his strict tenant standards, he still has <1% vacancy rate and is able to consistently increase rents every year. Tino understands how to strategize well for the best purposes of the property and the owner.   

    He's also just a great guy to talk to. In our first conversation, Tino took the time to get to know my questions and concerns as a new landlord and investor. Despite the fact that we established early on that my properties may be out of his price point, he willingly spent an hour of his day patiently offering advice on everything from selecting good investment properties, choosing good tenants, his experiences renting, and more. I even felt comfortable enough to ask him for his advice about off-topic questions like how to create a long-term investing goal, how to work with section 8 government agencies, etc. It is rare to find people who will go out of their way to support and explain things thoroughly to those they don't know well, and I was grateful for his years of experience and willingness to offer support. I feel confident that Tino is the type of guy who would make sure that nothing gets overlooked in the leasing and management process, as he gets to know the needs of each owner, their individual property, and their tenants.

  • San Jose Capitol Chevrolet was honest and played no games.  I was very happy with their service.  The salesman even came in on his day off to give us a test drive.  There was no pressure at any point.  I was able to go on a 45min test drive.  I am very happy with the new car.

  • - I was referred to All Reasons Moving by a different mover who couldn't work with my dates.
    - Angie's list ratings for All Reasons were also great so I contacted them.
    - I was given an appointment time for someone (Tom) to come and give me an estimate. Tom showed up on the dot. Was detailed in walkling through and explaining how things worked.
    - We first fixed a tentative date, which we had to change. Kim, the owner was great during this process.

    Day 1 of moving:
    - 3 packers showed up at 8:30 am (they'd indicated they'd show up between 8/8:30), detailed a plan where they'd complete everything but our beds and living room (we planned to spend the night at our old home)
    - They systematically worked through their plan and were pretty much done by the afternoon. Since I had possession of my new home, they agreed to move most of the packed boxes into the garage of my new house. That took all of 30 min.

    Day 2:
    - They showed up at around 8:00 am (as promised).
    - Completed loading up everything by around 11:00 and drove to the new home (about 1.5 miles away from my old home)
    - We had gotten the carpets cleaned prior to moving in (upstairs) so asked the movers to wear booties which they did without complaining
    - That made the move in a bit slow, so they called up another crew to handle the unloading of the track while a couple of them stayed upstairs so they could speed up.
    - They were really careful with the furniture and floor (proactively suggesting that we put in new felt pads on the furniture so the wooden floors downstairs wouldn't get damaged). They also did a good job assembling back the beds and other furniture that they'd dismantled.
    - With all this, they were done right before 1:00 pm, ahead of their estimated time.

    Overall, a very smooth experience with staff that were very professional and easy to work with.

  • They are excellent. Larry, the owner, was so nice. There were two of them and they were so nice. They were very courteous and on time. My mom loved them too because they had to get a bookcase up a set of stairs and they did it without any scratches. They were very neat and clean. The wine cellar had to go through a really narrow doorway and they got it through without a scratch. They charged $70 per hour and there were two movers. We gave them a tip because they were so nice. They wrapped all the furniture and they were fast. We thought they undercharged because they had to drive an hour away. They were totally accommodating to our schedule. At first he didn't have anything open but then he realized it was a short move so he moved us really quickly and then went to his other move.

  • Francisco and his team wound up with a little time between jobs and came down same day! They hauled the stand up and over the balcony, and managed to get the tank up the stairs without a scratch. I also had Shamrock Movers unload my 26' moving truck a few weeks ago - they were fast, courteous, and thorough. Francisco rocks!

  • Very professional for the most part. Lori was very good in giving me a competitive estimate and helped with doing a reverse move of a fridge as well for a very low price at the same time. This distinguished the company by showing it was willing to take care of their customers' needs. The movers were also very professional, except that once it got close to their lunch time and they had already spent the whole morning filling the truck, they rushed off, even though there were a few odds and ends still left in the home. They were very patient and professional at the new home during unloading.
