    Rosa's Maintenance, Inc.
The work itself was very high quality, and looks great still after about a month. They were very hardworking when they arrived and appeared to work as quickly as possible. We are quite pleased with the final outcome. The one issue we had was with the responsiveness and communication while scheduling and trying to figure out what we wanted to plant. The office and the actual workers appeared to have no ongoing communication which led to a missed appointment, them showing up on the wrong day, and our having to constantly call to confirm or figure out when they were coming. They also did not follow through with call backs as promised. Although we are quite pleased with the end product, we would likely not use them again because of the difficulty in scheduling and lack of communication between the office and those performing the work. That made the project way more of a headache than it needed to be.

    Highland Landscape
Since redoing my backyard was a fairly large project I had many contractors come out and offer ideas and estimates for the patio and deck. I decided on Highland Landscape because the owner, Lee Tavare, listened to the general ideas of what I was looking for and worked with me to come up with a design that was attractive and within my budget. Lee was here every day working and overseeing the job. Manual, his assistant was also knowledgeable, hardworking and a nice friendly guy. I was so pleased with the deck and patio I had them put in a paver deck around the pool and add a sprinkler system. Lee was patient and helpful- listening to various concerns and providing solutions and practical advice. The price seemed very reasonable for all that was done, there were no surprises and all the final bills came in a few dollars lower than his estimates. Lee is very knowledgeable in all types of construction which was nice for getting advice on various options and coming up with a workable plan for a beautiful backyard.

Babylon Builders - Home & Landscape Contractor
BGL is the only company we found that actually does what they say.  Even when mistakes were made that we weren't aware of, Ron told us about them and corrected.  I would think other companies would not even mention it.  Beautiful array of plant colors, perfect drip system and the concrete is spectacular.  Now we have an area in our patio to put our furniture.  We will also call him back for an outdoor kitchen area and firepit.  Thank you.

Babylon Builders - Home & Landscape Contractor
Very professional.  Ron is so nice.  We had about 1,000 square feet of concrete to put in.  The did that and installed plants and sprinkler systems.  The workers were courteous and on time.  Ron arranged for all materials to be delivered on time and we are very impressed with the politeness of this company.  I will not use anyone else in the future.

    Kerri Landscape Services
Our experience with Kerri Landscape Services has been outstanding.  We were impressed and extremely pleased every step of the way.  The quality of their work - exceptional.  Customer service & interpersonal communication - exceptional.
We had a huge landscape project to complete (basically a demolition and redesign of our home?s front landscaping / driveway / & large deck).  We researched companies and contractors for over a year.  The job was extensive, and made particularly difficult because the large front deck accessing our front door is built on a hillside.  Upon reading the reviews on Angie?s List for Kerri Landscape, we were impressed with the positive comments from previous customers.  Therefore, we held very high expectations when we began the job with them.  Even so, we were blown away by both the quality of their work AND the way they went about it.  Everyone we worked with from the company - from the owner to the crew - was highly knowledgeable and skilled, as well as committed to providing a top-notch product that would ultimately please us.  We could not be happier with the final product!
In short, these are the words which best describe our experience with Kerri Landscape Services:
Experts.  True professionals.  Quality.  Attention to detail.  Exceptional work ethic.  Outstanding customer service.  Trustworthy.
Pride in work.  Conscientious.  Meticulous.  Creative.  Good listeners.  Punctual.  Reliable. Excellence.
After our initial call, Rich Kerri (owner) scheduled a meeting with us at our home.  He listened to our needs, took notes, and did a walk-through of the various areas. Following that meeting, he scheduled another meeting a few days later where he brought his designer, Erik.  Erik sat down with us for over an hour and discussed ideas for the landscape remodel.  He left us with catalogues of various paver options as well as Trex deck options (since we wanted to replace the deteriorating wood deck with a synthetic type such as Trex).  Rich, Dave (the project manager), and Erik all pre-warned us that the Basalite paver colors in the catalogue were not accurate to the real life colors.  Dave advised us to go look at them at a concrete/masonry company.  It was excellent advice & we?re extremely glad we did that, because although we ended up keeping the color, we did change the style from Italian Renaissance to Artisan Slate.  If you are installing pavers, be sure to go look at them & walk on them in person beforehand to ensure that what
you?re envisioning is truly what you get. Erik returned another time to complete measurements of various areas.
About a month later, we received their proposed plans: well detailed, easy to follow, & drawn to scale.  Another page contained their bid
for the project.  Every part of the project was broken down item by item showing the cost for each task.  This included absolutely everything: demolition costs, drainage installation, Trex materials, various trees, shrubs, etc.  We could then choose which items to
do now in Phase 1, which items to delay until Phase 2, and which items we simply didn?t want at all.  Between emails and phone calls, I communicated back and forth with both Rich and Erik for a few weeks until we settled on the final plans.  They readily answered our questions and gave us professional advice, always doing so in a straight-forward, yet friendly manner.  Their bid was accurate and there were no additional or hidden costs at the end of the project.
The onsite crew we were assigned included Silvestre (foreman), Frank, and Kevin.   Dave (chief foreman who oversees and manages about five total crews) was also on site for a period of time most days. Dave would always connect with Silvestre, but would also chat with us, alert us to aspects of what was going on, see if we had any questions, and clarify issues.  This construction crew was with
us for the entire two months of work.
Work was performed Monday through Friday for eight hours a day, and began promptly at 7am every morning.  Silvestre, Frank and Kevin worked as a true team with noticeable ?team chemistry?.  Their work ethic was consistently outstanding.  The pace at which they worked was phenomenal, as was their efficiency and accuracy.  It became clear to us early on in the project that these men are highly skilled craftsmen who take a great deal of pride in what they?re creating.  The quality of the paver job they did on our driveway and walkway even impressed a friend of ours who worked as a contractor for over thirty years.  He said the finished product looked as good as any of the best paver jobs he?s seen in the high end neighborhoods.
In over eight weeks of work (over 40 full work days), we never once heard any of the crew complain?not to us and not among themselves.  Silvestre, Frank, and Kevin were consistently positive and supportive, demonstrating a true passion and pride in their work. They regularly looked out for each other?s safety and went out of their way to demonstrate concern for our safety and well-being also.  At one point when the driveway and front landscaped area had been demolished, leaving only dirt down a slight incline,
they installed a temporary wooden walk ramp for us to use.  They even assisted my mom (who has an unsteady gait due to Parkinson?s) in navigating the ramp when she came to visit.  Another time they installed temporary stair rails for us, just for the weekend, when the permanent rails weren?t yet complete.
Silvestre, Frank and Kevin all readily answered any questions we had about the project.  They often shared with us interesting details
about the process (drainage construction, paver installation, how areas are leveled, drip system, etc).  Though it was a noisy job (by the very nature of having to demolish a huge deck with its accompanying full flight of stairs, along with a driveway, walkway, and cement veggie box full of rebar), the crew themselves did not add any unpleasant noise.  They did not play music during work hours or
during their lunch break.  There was never any shouting or foul language.  Instead, the tone of their voices as well as their body language were consistently positive and uplifting.  If I ever went out to ask a question, Silvestre would immediately stop whatever he
was doing and gave me his undivided attention.
When facing a project that involves over 1000 hours of labor, right outside your front door, the situation could be very trying if the crew was unpleasant.  Silvestre, Frank, and Kevin (along with chief foreman, Dave) were all an absolute pleasure to have on our property.  Not only are they highly skilled craftsmen, who are experts at their trade, but they also were polite, respectful, and kind.  Obviously, we care about our property because it is our home. But the way the crew went about their work, we got the feeling very early on, that they treated our property with the utmost care.  They were meticulous about everything they did.  At the end of each day, they picked up all work tools and gathered them into specific areas.  They swept or shop-vacced loose debris.  They even raked our front yard every day and scooped up leaves falling from our tree?.which was completely above and beyond our expectations.  There truly isn?t a single negative thing I can think of regarding the crew and the service they provided for us.  Most importantly, the finished product reflects their excellence.
We are now Kerri Landscape customers ?for life? and we?ll be turning to them to transform our backyard next.  They proved themselves to us as a superb landscape company of the highest level, & they also earned our deepest respect as a team of high quality people.  Thank you to Rich, Dave, Silvestre, Frank, Kevin, and Erik for the stunning transformation you?ve made to the front of our home!

    FERNANDEZ LANDSCAPING
First, let me say we (me, my wife and in-law, yes, including in-law) are 200% satisfied with Bill and his crew's work. Bill and his crew are very professional, with great craftsmanship, and easy to work with. After touring our backyard, our neighbors said we got the best contractor in our neighborhood :) (our entire neighborhood is newly built so lots of families are building their backyards right now, including us)
It's all started from I found Bill's info on Angie's List. I called him and we got an appointment for Bill to come to our home to do the measurement. Bill came on time and did all the measurements and answered all questions we had. He is very patient and very kind. Then we got the quote from him the day after. His quote is fair and competitive but not the lowest. We have few unlicensed contractors walk around the neighborhood and they asked thousands less. But you got what you paid for. My neighbors learned that in a hard way.
Back to our backyard, we emailed Bill for so many rounds with lots of questions and he always replied in few hours. And that's even before we signed the contract. After we decided to go with Bill and a contract was signed, the project was started and finished in 3 weeks. His crew came to work on our backyard from 7:30am to 3:30pm everyday and they are very friendly (some contractors who worked for my neighbors looks like gang member to me). Bill came to work with his crew everyday so we communicated all the issues with Bill directly. They worked hard and very proffessional. They also cooperated with each other very well so you can tell they been working together for quite some time and that made everything go smoothly with great quality.
I basically walked through the yard after I got back from work. Then I communicated with Bill in next morning with any question or issue I had before I left to work. It worked very well this way for the entire 3 weeks of the project.
All in all, we are very happy with Bill's work and had a great time working with him during the entire project. We already recommended him to couple neighbors and will definitely use his team for future landscaping project!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I was happy with them. I felt that the guy who came to my house was a true expert in his field, actually more so than any other deal that I have gotten. The guy was really passionate about lawns, not in a weird way, but in a good way. It was more money than I was willing to spend with something I never cared much about that at that time. I'm sad I didn't really have extra cash at that time to pay that kind of price but I felt it was a fair price. I do keep his card nearby in case I decide to actually go with the plan.

Nature's Creations Plant Care & Design
He gave me the Angie’s List Big Deal offer. I spent $25 on the job; it was a very good price. I saw the offer online and grabbed it. I spent additionally for a few parts. It was a good experience. The guy was professional. I was very pleased with him. He was a great guy. I would use this company again in the future.

Nature's Creations Plant Care & Design
It was through Angie's List big deal. The deal was for $49 and I spent $75 or $80 on top of that. I paid extra for the extra work that they did. Overall, they were very knowledgeable and their communication was good. Overall, I was satisfied with their service. They fixed it a couple of days ago and so, I will have to see as to how it would hold up which may take a month, two months or up to a year. It has been fine so far and there hasn't been any complication at all.

Leland was friendly and professional. I liked that he listened and did not pressure us to spend beyond our means. He planned his work using what existed in our yard and respected our budget.  He has a lot of knowledge and insight and I took notes on how to maintain our yards.
