About Us

Dr. Anders and Dr. Sanchez are Eye Physicians and Surgeons (M.D.s). Our mission is to provide excellent eye care in a compassionate and nurturing environment. We tailor our treatments to each patient's individual needs and achieve consistent outcomes. Outstanding patient satisfaction is what drives us. We offer many services that include subspecialty glaucoma surgery, cataract surgery, management of diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration and routine eye exams. Our office has all the latest technologies to evaluate and treat many important structures of the eye. Education is also at the heart of our Ophthalmology practice. Dr. Anders has been educating ophthalmologist in-training for over twenty-five years. Dr. Sanchez plays an integral part in the clinical and surgical training of Medical Students and Ophthalmology Residents. Both doctors hold teaching appointments at the University of Southern California and are involved in many teaching seminars. Dr. Anders is an ophthalmic surgeon and glaucoma specialist. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. He completed his internship at Los Angeles County USC Medical Center and his Ophthalmology residency at Los Angeles County King Drew Medical Center. He then pursued sub-specialty training in Glaucoma at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York before returning to Los Angeles to begin his career. Dr. Sanchez is an ophthalmic surgeon. He received his MD degree from the University of Southern California (USC) Keck School of Medicine and went on to serve an internship at one of the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Hospitals. Dr. Sanchez completed his residency at the prestigious Doheny Eye Institute of USC. He was named Assistant Chief of Service for the Department of Ophthalmology at USC and currently maintains an active teaching role in educating Ophthalmic Physicians and Surgeons at USC. Dr. Sanchez is fluent in Spanish and specializes in many ophthalmic diseases and surgeries including complex cataract surgery and glaucoma.
